OK I was going to give this place a good rating because they totally redid the parking lot, made…read morebetter fuel pumps, better lighting, etc., But two of their new fuel pumps wouldn't take two of my credit cards that I tried to swipe nor would they except it by using Apple Pay. The second pump finally accepted an American Express card that I slid in but wouldn't except my Visa and Discover. So for that I'm not very happy because I was tired, I wanted to pump my gas and go home. I'm sure I'll come back here again because it's convenient but I'm not very happy

This was my go-to place until today, particularly because they have the best air pump: you set the pressure and it does the rest. No need for a pressure gage. Easy. I was filling my tires and I noticed the pressure actually dropping. I noticed the hose was wrapped in electrical tape or something similar and air was leaking through the tape nicely. I went in to tell the clerk and it just went downhill from there. I told this unkempt, unconcerned, and un-astute clerk that there was a leak in the air compressor hose and asked if I could get my 75 cents back. He responded, "A leak?". "Yes, a leak in the hose." "In the hose?" "Yes, there's tape around the hose and it's leaking through the tape." "There's tape on the hose?" "Yes, black tape. It's leaking." This went on in a circular fashion with him repeating my statements in the form of a question. Eventually he said he would call whomever dealt with the compressor. I said, "great," and asked for my 75 cents back, which is normally how these things go. "Oh, we don't control that." Thus ended our conversation because I already knew it was a lost cause. Well done, whoever hired this guy. I give the place two stars instead of one because it was worth 75 cents to see life imitate "Idiocracy". (ref scene where Joe is asking Frito if there's a time machine). I will probably go back and buy their gas and some shadow company's compressed air (damn you cheap, slow-leaking tires), but I'll keep one eye open at all times for any way they might try to further diminish my faith in humanity.

First let me frefice this by saying, I have been a custemer of this store for 20 years and have…read morenever had an issue with either the store or the staff. Always a friendly and welcoming place. But a few days age I was acosted verbally by a new staff member. who is aparently an assistant manager! Her name sounded like Kaii" or something similar. She made a mistake on my purchase of sodas and lottery tickets and overcharged me over $350.00! I brought this to her attention and she got frustrated when I tried ti ecplain it to her and had the audasity to tell me she always has this kind of problem woth "You People". I don't even want to think of what she meant by that but it felt racist. I am 68 year old retired vet, cacncer survivor and transplant recipient. I was so shaken by this after she fixed my order I paid what was owed and left without my sodas. I'm not going back for them. Racetrac has lost a customer.

WORST 24/7 "convenience" store you could ever walk into, if you can even get in…read more They "close" their doors at a random time EVERY single night and put up a small sign that says "use the little side window as we are short staffed." Mind you this sign appeared after months of not being open at night with no window back then. Now staff walks around inside with 2 or 3 members of staff at all times visible from the outside both then and now they are FULLY staffed but just walk around doing absolute zero while turning away any customers for x and y reason, sometimes you can do credit card purchases through the slider window which is pretty much the size of a small bag of chips to fit through but if mr.IHateLife is working (old fat white guy with bad teeth and even worse eyesight) its only cash payments. You dont need more than 2 people working a station of this size, and i speak as a previous manager of a gas station. They have THREE. And to top it off theyll ignore you while you stand at the window cause there must be so much to talk to your peers about seeing as youre soo short staffed. Going on 6 to 7 months of nightshift destroying the reputation of what once was a good establishment by not WANTING to work. Nothin else to it, just workers who think they gamed their boss by putting up a small sign and closing the doors to not work.
