I was early for a flight, and needed a place to wait (and use a restroom). There's a coffee place across the street, but only the drive-thru was open (this as toward the end of 2021). Since I had to use the loo, that wasn't going to do. So I stopped in here to empty my tank, and as long as I was here, grab a cup of coffee. It was OK. Gas seemed a bit higher priced, but Shell usually is, and with t his location, there's not much competition. I bet it's still better than rental car gas prices, when you don't bring the car back on full. Anyway, in addition to coffee and tea, they have endless snack options, and roller food too. Yum. Location, location and location. I was rushing to return my rental car and I knew of this gas station location from my previous visit to DFW. I also knew their gas price is higher that those within two miles radios but when I was pressed with time and I only needed to put about a gallon of gas, this place was just perfect for me. Receipt printed out at the pump, I was in and out in no time. If I had time, I would drive further to get better price but for those in a hurry to return rental cars, this place will serve just fine. read more

This place has it going on! A Shell right next to the airport car rental return, so you don't have to prepay to fill your tank, or hunt for a gas station close to the airport before turning in your rental. Throw in the attached Whataburger so you can grab a quick bite before entering the airport and their outlandish food prices in the terminals and you have a winning combination! read more

Whoever thought of putting a gas station there should be (and probably was) lauded. It's the last fill-up spot before turning in your rental vehicle unless you want to have the rental company pay. The prices; reasonable. What I didn't like were the overflowing trash bins. I get it; we all want to turn in junk-free rentals or throw out what's not going to fly on the plane with us...just saying. I love this Shell! It's right by the rental car center, so perfect to stop by right before returning your rental car. The convenience store has a lot of snacks, and they also have a Whataburger at this location (with drive thru!). read more

Limited operating hours on 0600-2200. Even during that time, it's not guaranteed that the staff there will have the store open. Gas is consistently priced approximately 40¢/gal higher than other areas. Staff are unprofessional. As of here recently, all rideshare vehicles have been banned from the property with the threat of having police called on us. All I have to say is that I'm sorry for wasting my time and money buying gas, food, energy drinks, etc. here before driving passengers out of the DFW airport. read more

Pulled up this shell today, couldn't park anywhere in the parking lot because it was full, despite the 'no loitering signs which are many. I parked in the gas pump area, got out and started walking in to make my purchase. A short, heavyset individual bounded up to me and informed me that if I wasn't going to pump gas, I couldn't park there. I told him that was ridiculous, he then informed me that it was his job to keep the pump area clear for gas purchases only. I informed him that he should run off the loiterers that were taking up the spaces outside the pump area as I know for a fact that the store made more on inside purchases than they do on fuel. He told me I needed to mind my own business and show some respect. Well, needless to say the least, this did nothing but anger me and I rightfully told him how I felt. He then threatened to take down my license plate and report me. At this point I just laughed at him, I've done nothing illegal, call them and report all you want. The folks that run this particular business are always doing something to run off customers rather than retain them. They obviously do not have any business sense whatsoever! Doesn't even deserve one star. Hands down the worst run gas station around. I would rather just let the rental car companies refuel at a higher price. The pumps are consistantly broken. Unfortunately I have been putting up with this place for years! The owner/operator should not be allowed to sell gas under the SHELL name. Sadly, its the only station close to the Rental Car return center. If you must buy gas there be prepared to make a few trips inside the store just to get the pump to start. Spend your money elsewhere-- this SHELL does not deserve your business. I don't trust gas stations that insist on personally 'handling' credit cards. Amazingly bad!! read more

This place is not great at all... Being situated at the South Airport entry they have taken it as license to rip you off... First off fuel is at least 50 cents a gallon higher then a mile away. Next the have a Whataburger restaurant inside and 20 fuel pumps and only one men's room toilet... Really? Get gas and food a little bit further away and save money and time... read more
