The reviews were on point, this place is fast, friendly, price are reasonable mechanics were very efficient and nice, they took the time to explain in detail the issue with the car. The crew and Siwan work exceptionally hard and there's a constant flow of customer base with a wide variety of brands, makes, and models. There's a ton of pros I can give off but I think the primary one is the fact that Siwan is customer first. Don't want to give all the details but just know he will take care of you because he has a perspective unlike most. There's no perfect experience and the one con I will give is their delegation of workflow. I think if there was an admin assistant to take care of majority of front of house, appointments, paperwork, etc. it would take it to another level than it already is. I already had a good idea of what was wrong with my car based on past experience. When I called this shop, the difference was immediate. They were professional, respectful, and didn't argue with me or try to upsell me on unnecessary repairs. I specifically looked for negative reviews--and there were none. I dropped my car off early that morning, and they gave me a clear time estimate for when it would be ready. They even sent photos of the issue. While I didn't fully understand what I was looking at, the fact that they were transparent enough to share images--knowing I could easily research them--told me everything I needed to know about their honesty. I don't remember the technician's name, but they took great care of my foreign car, Lexi, and I'm beyond relieved not to be driving around with grinding rotors anymore. And they're honest about the cost of labor and replacement pieces. The waiting room is kinda rough and cold so you can ask to sit in the office with the lot puppy they found and adopted this year. She's so well behaved. While I was waiting I got to talk with one of the co-owners and they're super friendly, you'll find good conversation with most of the folks here. The problems (or possible ones) are generally explained in a way that fills in the gaps in your knowledge without making you seem stupid; it actually feels like they want to educate you instead of begrudgingly explaining enough to justify you opening your wallet (including different brands/qualities of a particular part). It's a good sign that they are so busy, so even though it's sometimes tough to wait a few days to get on their schedule, it's worth it. Even then, I had a problem with my brakes the other day, and Chris explained his theory over the phone, took it for a test drive(s), realized it could be a quick fix, and took care of it right away for less than I was expecting. They do very good business so they're frequently booked up-- make an appointment if possible, they take preference over walk-ins. I called on a Wednesday morning to see when I could get in, and the earliest appointment they had was Friday. I needed an oil change, my tires inspected, and for them to check on an issue with my AC. You fill out a detailed service form inside the Shell station and the cashier, who is also a garage employee, takes care of it from there. When the mechanic called to give me his report, he followed my instructions to proceed with the oil change but get my permission for any other work needed. He told me my tires were in good condition (and didn't try to upsell me to make a buck). With the roads in Bmore being what they are, it would have been really easy to try that card (which some untrustworthy mechanics do more so with women), but this guy was honest with me and I respect that. He also said that my AC issue wasn't a problem that required any work and might just come and go, though harmless-- so again, saving me cash. The whole process was very efficient and reasonable priced, and the staff was friendly. I definitely recommend!
