I went back in to get a picture of the "Cash Only" sign and saw that there was a female employee behind the food station and asked if they were serving food now....the two employees looked at each other for a second and she replied "not until 3am".....it was 12:30am at the time, and as I said previously, there was already chicken and fries prepared. When the employee working the register (who was standing in the middle of the store talking to his coworker) saw me go up to the sign and take a picture he hurriedly started giving an explanation that the "credit card processor had been down since he came into work and he heard a bunch of places were having the same problem." So I proceeded to go to the Royal Farms half a mile away on Roland Avenue....who had no issue taking cards and was also serving food. Speaking of which, the whole reason I went into Royal Farms to begin with is because the new Crunchy Chicken Croissant is fire and I was craving one. Luckily I was able to get one at the second location and they also had the DIY milkshake machine there too, which the other location didn't have. Needless to say they need to fire the employees working late night at this location. I will be going to the Roland Ave Royal Farms from now on....unless I need gas. It's worth mentioning that this isn't the first time I've seen a handwritten sign that says "cash only" at this location when there is only one or two employees working. The other time it was the middle of the day, though...but I got the same sense that it was sus.

I do not usually buy food from a gas station, but this once I tried it. I ordered two of the spicy chicken strips for a fee of $4.99 (inc.Tax) and when I bit off my first bite the chicken had nice spice and breading, but it was extremely dry and the pieces were very small for the price. If I could attach photos, I would. Anyways, I just wanted to make someone aware of the quality drop in the infamous chicken from Royal Farm Store.

This place was scary (and I grew up in South Central LA). Super crowded with ghetto stuff going on everywhere, as I was approaching the pump, a car pulled in doing about 50, did not stop, missed my car by a few feet and took my spot, a car next to me just parked at the pump, not getting gas, chatting with a crack head, people just hanging out getting high!! Had no choice because I was almost out of gas. Just happy I was able to get my gas and be on my way.

Sometimes, they're perfect. Other times, you can tell the oil should have been changed a while ago. Sometimes the experience is great. Other times, it ends with a few rumblies in the tumblies... if you know what I mean. Still, it's mostly all plusses here. Their gas is priced competitively, because they're banking on you coming in to order food and buy snacks. Which, for a convenience store, they have a HUGE variety to choose from! My fam and I love the Wisconsin Cheese Bites, but, again... see above note on the quality of their fried offerings. I also love that they have Johnsonville sausages as a near constant option. I do wish they had a bigger/better variety of sandwich options, though. The quality here is also only okay. All things being what they are, though, it's a great location with numerous options to fit most any appetite and preference. Very glad to have another Sheetz in town!

The gas station area was well maintained. They also squeegees, window washing solution and paper towels at every pump. I rarely if ever see them at gas stations anymore. The inside of the store was well organized and clean. I also liked the customer service. The manager was friendly and provided good customer service. When I am in the area, I will stop here for gas. From my experience, the Sheetz brand has been pretty clean, so it's great to see one in this location.
