The front desk girls are nice but I have to say, I'm starting to get super frustrated with the communication or lack of it at this salon. My account has a very slight misspelling and they can never find me in their system when I come in. I always have to remember to misspell my own name to get access to a bed. The manager is happy to take my money each month but can't make this tiny correction that I've asked to be done since April???? There are three girls that work regularly that just know my name is misspelled and always apologize since they are unable to fix it and always say "I'm so sorry, I'll remind my manager again..." I know it might seem silly but it really gets annoying and it is SO SIMPLE to fix! Also, do not purchase upgrades when they offer them unless you plan to use them immediately ... This is they only salon I have ever been to that allows upgrades to expire! I've lived in three states and I still have upgrades from other salons in those states that I use when I visit... This place is just trying to get an extra buck and then hope you won't use your upgrades. I bought a few in April and I went out of town when I came in today I was told they had expired.... Annoying money down the drain. Lastly, two of the beds I use have broken doors so they don't close all the way and lock- kinda creepy. I'm not a shy gal so whatever but they've been broken for over a month and I've heard other customers asking if the can switch rooms (yes, you can - btw you need to purchase and upgrade) seems convenient or that the owner just doesn't care. I have called on several occasions just to directly let the store manager know but when I call the ladies tell me she isn't in today or she is super busy and will get back to me. Today, I was told that they didn't know when the store manager was working this week and to just keep calling... I think I'm done with that.

However... Judging from the reviews on Google and my experience, it seems that some of the staff is not as well informed as others. This was my first time in a bed and it wasn't until I got home and started reading up on bed tanning tips that I realized how poor my guidance was from the girl working at that time. I wasn't shown anything about the bed, even though I told her a few times this was my first time tanning and I was clueless (which is partly true, it's just been a REALLY long time). Plus, I'm fair skinned and she put me in for 13 minutes starting out (I read later I should have started at 6 minutes to 10 minutes MAX). So, I got a bit of a burn. :( However, this staff IS NICE (just uninformative). She was patient with me and did answer any questions I had, but I guess I just didn't ask enough questions. Maybe I should have researched beforehand, but I was under the impression that the staff was supposed to be helpful - especially if the person is new. It is convenient for me, so I will likely return now with my own knowledge gathered via google search. If it seems to improve, I will update my review accordingly.

We were walk-ins and didn't have an appointment, but the process was easy. My daughter picked out the earrings she wanted, and the wait was only a few minutes. The nurse who performed the piercing was kind and helped make my daughter feel comfortable throughout the appointment. The piercing itself was quick and virtually painless.
