They arrived on time...and after some discussion, they got right to work. They were so clean..no mess at all..just nice, clean floors. This has been something I've wanted a long time and now that it is finished, I could not be more pleased. What touched me the most was their cautioning me many times about the wet floors, as I had told them I have a problem with dizziness. I am very fortunate to have found them and I am so pleased with the outcome. From Meghan to the young man working alongside Joe and to Joe himself...nothing but praise. Would use them again in a heartbeat! Donna S. read more

We are in the midst of purchasing a home that had "pickled" hardwood floors that were not in great shape. We had Extreme Floor Care refinish our floors in the house we just sold and knew from experience that they were excellent. We were not disappointed. They gave us an estimate that they stuck to, were reliable and professional and completely changed the appearance of our home. We could not be more thrilled and would recommend them to anyone at any time. We would certainly use them again (if need be - we are NOT moving EVER AGAIN!!) read more

Excellent work and fast service. Called Extreme flooring and set me up with an evaluation to refinish our hardwood floors. Megan came out and walked me through the entire process and my options. I liked her professionalism and knowledge so I setup a time for Joe and his crew to do the job. When I met Joe on the day the job started, he too was very professional and knowledgeable and walked me through exactly what he was going to do. Thy provided me with before and after photos as they did the job. The final product looks amazing. There were parts of the floor I didn't know how they would turn out and they looked great. Highly recommended. read more

One of the best Contractors to provide service to my residence. Extreme Floor was very efficient from providing an estimate to completion of the project. Meghan provided pictures & updates daily with some additional design ideas. Joe & Brian provided excellent craftmanship and made sure the work area was clean prior to departure. Would highly recommend Extreme Floor and plan on using them for my next project. -Glen N read more

DO NOT HIRE! MISSING ITEMS FROM JOB SITE! It's very unfortunate I have to right this review. I really thought they were good people. The job they did wasn't bad. In fact we like the floors even though they were almost 2x more expensive then other quotes, we figured they seemed the most professional. Unfortunately after the job was all done I noticed 4 items missing from the job site. We are currently working on the house so it's mostly tools there. 3 tools and a blue tooth speaker are no where to be found. I called and asked them about it but naturally they said they didn't see anything. They were the ONLY ones to have access to the job site and ALL 4 items were present the 1st day they showed up. There is no signs of break-ins, vandalism or anything else and the large tools (which are harder to hide) are still there. I don't think I have much recourse in the matter, so my loss is your gain. DO NOT HIRE THEM!!! read more

Excellent from start to finish. Megan responded quickly with an estimate and I appreciated that she explained thoroughly how the process would work and what to expect. The finished job was amazing. Our house was built in the 50s....Joe and Brian made the hardwood floors in our entryway and stairs look brand new. I liked the care they took in putting plastic up to keep dust at a minimum. They exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend. read more

Extreme was punctual from the commitment for quote, all paperwork and the job itself. On time, on budget, no surprises, great workmanship. We are more than pleased. Not being at the house for this job meant reliance on pictures and Extreme over-delivered with pictures of every phase. We are very happy. Our 1930's floors now look brand new! read more

We have a second home in Ocean City, New Jersey and needed carpet cleaning. Extreme Floor Care was recommended to us by Avalon Carpets who did the installation. Megan was very accommodating and thorough in measuring and quoting the job. She recommended a couple of extra services including upholstery cleaning and cleaning the grout in our bathrooms. We were a bit delayed in seeing the results but we could not be happier with the quality of the work . Everything looks like new! We will be using Extreme Floor Care for any work going forward. Thanks to Megan and Joe. read more

GREAT JOB! Megan, the sales rep, gave us detailed info about what and how the process would proceed. She also emailed copies of their insurance papers without us asking. On March 16th, Joe and his crew stripped and refinished our hardwood floors with beautiful results! They emailed photos at every step of the process. We would hire them again if needed! read more

I have NEVER been more impressed with an experience with work for my home! From the firm & reasonable quote (which didn't change), to the booking / work date (again, showed up first thing on day scheduled), to photos of every step of the process emailed (dozens of every section of floors of 3 rooms total), to completion (said maybe 3 days, took 2), to payment (50% upon start, balance upon completion), to QUALITY OF WORKMANSHIP (best ever! Believe me, I sadly hired the worst ever before them just a year ago to have to have my floors re-done by Extreme Floor Care). And, I will be hiring them for a few rooms yearly of my huge 8 Bedroom Victorian Home in Cape May, entrusting only them, because unlike what I've previously gotten from people in Cape May-- these are THE BEST EVER!!! read more

My husband and I recently purchased an older home with original hardwood floors and hired extreme floor care to refinish them. Megan was great with all of her communication throughout the whole process. Our floors came out beautifully and exactly how we wanted! My ONLY gripe is the 6 giant bags of garbage left outside of my house. Bulk pick up will not pick them up in Northfield and I requested Extreme Floor Care to please get rid of them or reimburse me if I have to pay to dispose of them. I am still waiting for them to come pick up the trash. read more

Extreme Floor Care is, without a doubt, run by miracle workers who make the impossible seem easy. From our first meeting with Megan to get a price, to the craftsmen who delivered finished product, all of the people at Extreme Floor Care made us feel like old friends! The work was done professionally and very quickly with almost no dust and no lingering smells. Within minutes of their arrival the crew had everything protected by plastic sheets, including all of the doorways at the perimeter of the work area. The project that Extreme Floor Care took on was hardwood floors that had been neglected and abused for almost 30 years. Needless to say they were a disaster. In just two days they were able to transform this nightmare into a showplace! The end result is so much better than we could have possibly imagined! As I said in the beginning ... they are miracle workers and they did indeed manage to do the impossible! read more

I had a very limited schedule and Megan reviewed their schedule and was able to get me on the schedule for the day I needed. She explained how they priced their services and that she would be out to estimate the cost. She came as scheduled, measured the areas and gave me a fair price. Joe and his two workers came as scheduled. They went right to work, making sure they knew what I wanted completed. They did a great job. Joe took the time to explain my carpet, the drying process and even put my area carpets in place so I wouldn't slip when walking off the wet carpet. The carpet dried in no time and looks great. I would definitely recommend them and use them again. read more

They have done carpet cleaning and tile cleaning/sealing for us for several years. Very satisfied with their work and professionalism.

Fantastic job refinishing the hardwood floors in our 90 year old house. There was some severe water stains in a few spots and Joe was able to order new wood to fix the areas. The finish is beautiful and feels very strong. Megan was great to deal with- excellent communication and explained/educated us on the whole process. They showed up on time, were very clean and in the end the price was even a little cheaper then the estimate because less material was needed for repairs. Another benefit is that Joe the owner, is there and runs the drum sander (they do not subcontract their work out). I would highly recommend Extreme Floor care. read more

If you want a professional service to refinish your hardwood floors, definitely hire Extreme Floor Care. The quality workmanship and customer service was exceptional. Megan will guide you through the whole process...from giving you recommendations, developing the contract and answering all your questions in a very timely manner (I didn't realize how many questions I would have until we got started). Megan gave me a recommendation for the stain to use and it was absolutely perfect. She saw my style and listened to me and I would have never even known that this beautiful stain was available! Joe does the work and he did a beautiful job on the floors and custom made thresholds. He even sent me pictures during the process. I had spoken with 2 other contractors and got the same old 'nobody wants to do small jobs". "I would have to fit your job in-between other jobs". Well...you know what that means....your job could take months to get done! Joe did our job in 2 consecutive days and the price was very good in comparison to others who wanted to do my job as a 'fill-in'. read more

I can't say enough about the quality work of Extreme Floor Care. As I didn't personally know any floor refinishers in the area, I did quite a bit of internet research. I liked that Extreme Floor Care had many positive reviews, which prompted me to look at their website. Once again. I was impressed by the before and after photos explaining the work performed. I spoke with Megan and promptly received a detailed estimate for the work to be performed. Joe replaced a section of hardwood flooring and refinished the rest of the hardwood floor. We received photos throughout the process and were encouraged to ask any questions. The house was clean upon completion of the job and there was very little dust. We were extremely pleased with Extreme Floor Care and would highly recommend them to others. It was a pleasure working with Joe and Megan. read more

I HAD beautiful hardwood floors in my home. We had water damage and needed to get floors redone in 2 rooms, but since the hardwood all ran together we decided to have them do all of the floors...dining room, kitchen hallway, living room and powder room. What a BIG mistake. If we sweep the dirt causes scratch marks in it. Nothing is sealed and if you drop any little thing on the floor it makes a dent. We called and the rude woman that came out, the same one that gave the estimate, told me I was crazy. That there was nothing wrong. she said I needed to put protectors on all my counter stools that already had protectors on them. Any speck of dirt that is on the floor will scratch it if I tried to wipe it up. I wanted the owner to come out, but you cannot get in touch with him. This was over a year ago, but it still irks me everyday when I look at the floors. I spent over $3000. I could have bought a whole new floor. read more
