I remember a few years back, I'd seen a Mother's Day display in someone's yard and thought that was the cutest thing ever. That same display, I told my mother about it and took her to view it for herself and she thought it was the cutest display ever... bubble bee display... So here I am about 2 years later and it's 24 hours before my mom's birthday... what to do? I did a Google search for "front yard designs" - one site popped up but no one answered when I called. I called the number to this company and someone answered on the third ring. I had already checked out their website and the pricing and I was sure of what I wanted. I just hoped a same day delivery would be granted... No worries! My order was placed and a huge smile upon my face. I spoke with the representative, Janice! The conversation was straight and to the point. I ordered the deluxe package: 5 Mylar balloons and a character display. Delivery is between 10pm - 6am (the day before the actual date of arrival). In my case, I checked to see if the display was up at 10:30 pm... nope I checked again around 1:30 am (display date) and everything was in place! What a sight to see! My mom told me several neighbors complimented the display throughout the day. My mother, she was totally surprised and love it! She'd thought back to that time years ago too. So I must say, I am a happy customer and my mother, the recipient was grateful! The display is up the entire day and pick up is after 8 pm. Well the crew just left bout 20 minutes ago. (11:30 pm) Something unique and personable for all to see... consider reaching out to this company for all occasions. Rewind to my Fiancé proposing to me at the Oceanfront. So fast forward, I decide to book with Indie Picnics for a Proposal round two, same spot, because every woman deserves a proposal. Booking was simple. Pick a date and time, pay the deposit (50%) and you're booked. You receive a confirmation through PayPal, also you are required to pay via PayPal so be prepared to login to your account. The website could be more descriptive. Fine print reads that you should call prior to booking to confirm that the slot is in fact available and they can accommodate your booking. I however booked and confirmed after. It states on their website that all contact will be returned within 48hrs but I had to reach out again 72 hrs later to confirm booking and accommodations. I gave 4 stars for this reason. After paying your deposit and booking something as intimate as this, I believe companies should be mindful to confirm and update their clients as stated. Otherwise you leave clients feeling anxious and worried. When booking you also have an opportunity to choose the amount of guests, location of your choice (they help if you need a location), and add special request. I booked "Just the two of us" at $200. Event includes, tableware, rugs, pillows, tepee, battery powered candles, decor, plate-ware, silverware, glasses, sparkling water and charcuterie . Unfortunately we did not receive the tepee at our booking which I was looking forward to. We opted for a fruit board, which was okay. The dessert they included was also alright. Nothing special. All and all, This luxury picnic company sets up some beautiful arrangements. I recommend packing your own libations if quality is what you seek. It is really convenient to have someone else set the scene for your special occasions.
