I felt the cost was reasonable until I realized that I would be charged an administrative fee (half the cost of my unit). Additionally, I choose the Dix Ave location because of the cleanliness, however they tried to switch me to the Dix Ave location in Glens Falls. (That location is dirty and has a pest problem - rodents, I know family members who rented from that location). I received a notice that my rent will change in November. The last straw and the reason I will be leaving my contract is they want to randomly raise my rent $20+ dollars - I feel like this is a bait and switch (I got a nice, discounted price, with this price change, I am now paying the 'regular' price) - nice try PS. Thankfully I didn't move too much in, and I can leave easily. BEWARE!

Due…read moreto the lack of security at the unit site, I left my lock on the unit even after moving my stuff out as I was afraid people would tamper with my unit. There are beer cans scattered in the wooded area behind the unit and it's often poorly lit so being a young female I refused to go to the unit alone to begin with. The day I was supposed to be out, I had a medical emergency in Syracuse, which I informed them of, and told them I would race back to the unit to get the lock off. When I did it was too late and they threatened sending my bill to collections for being a day late for a unit I was no longer using. I paid the bill just to find that they were renting out the unit, I PAID FOR, and there was a new lock on it. I would never recommend this company for storage. i never received a notice that they were renting out my unit either. I drove up and found another lock on my unit that I paid a full months worth of rent for. I did not get reimbursed for the rent either. I tried leaving a review on their website but apparently they only show the good ones.

I did exactly what I was told to do - call before the last day of the month we plan to move out. I called 6 days prior to say we would be out by the end of the month. We had pulled our car out but had 3 boxes of decorations to pick up later. I went back 4 days later and the boxes were gone. I was told they had no master key for the locks they required me to purchase. I considered maybe I did do something wrong. They offered to honor the same monthly rate for the next year if I returned. Being the cheapest in the area, we decided to store only the car the second year. I did the exact same thing, calling 6 days prior to say we were moving out by the end of the month. I was told to let them know when we were completely done with the unit. 4 days later I took a picture and sent a text with a picture of the empty unit. It wasn't till two months later, we discovered we were still being charged. When I contacted them, I was told they needed to look in to if they could refund a charge. I never got a call after that. After several calls and no response, I decided to go through my credit card company. All Storage referenced a contract number to the credit card company that we never saw or signed. Without the contract, the credit card company could not pursue. I requested the contract by phone 4 times and by email 3 times. A contract was never sent - because it never existed to begin with. The policies/procedures were not consistent from the previous year. Without having an actual office, you never do anything in person. Take your chances.
