Well I'm glad I went with my first instinct and booked with Savannah and Sons. I dealt with both owners Carlos & Isaac and they were very professional. Kept me aware of how far away they were & who to expect which was very appreciated. I booked my move several weeks in advance and I was called 2 weeks out to confirm that no changes were needed and again the day before. I appreciate the confirmation text I was given the day before as well as a phone call when the movers were 15 minutes out. I love that type of accountability! My items were moved with care by all and I really appreciated the patience they had with me. If you've ever moved you know it's a struggle deciding what to take and what to leave but the men were understanding and I didn't feel rushed to decide. They worked hard and didn't waste time and were fantastic about listening to mom's requests about her hand-painted furniture. They were great about explaining insurance and options to us both, and my parents were able to call in on Friday and schedule a move for Saturday. Both crews showed up on time.

The 2nd time was equally as good, however, when I moved this last time into my home, they sent 2 trucks and 4 guys. The one that I had requested, which I had the first time was not available that day so they sent 4 others out. The one lead guy did not stay on top of the others and they just did what they wanted. They were slow, careless and I ended up with damaged furniture, damaged doorways into my NEW house and not one did they have the curtesy to let me know. They put things in one room that I asked them to and ended up just piling things on top of other things to the point where I can't get to anything without moving everything out. They put the remainder of the stuff in the garage and it looks like a trash heap in both my one bedroom and the garage. It took them almost 8 hours to move me. I did have 3 storage units, however, it only took 2 hours to move into the biggest one and about 1 1/2 hours to move into the 2nd one. I moved myself into the 3rd one. That was with only 2 guys per unit. This time, it took over 4 hours to move out of the units. That is insane. I am sorry to say that I would not recommend to anyone if you value your possessions and your time and money.
