The best part of this facility is Andrea, the manager, who has gone way beyond the call of duty helping me out as outside crises kept happening while my things were in storage and interfered with my sotring and moving plans. She always immediately got back to me and figured out a way to address issues, even if it meant extra work for her that wasn't anything she was required to do. Moving and being in between homes is stressful enough. She made the whole thing much easier. read more

The manager was very helpful both in setting up the storage unit (helping through the stress of unrelated issues with my movers) and immediately coming to the rescue when injuries undid all my plans and even ability to get to my unit. So I called about a month and a half ago to secure space for our 5th wheel for the summer season. Nothing was available at the time but Kim took my info. She called back a few weeks later saying a spot had opened up and I was the first one on her call list! Kim was amazing in her communication and her demeanor. I had a few concerns about the space and if there was enough room to turn around with a 5th wheel. She went out to check out the space and around it and reassured me that there definitely was and there were other motorhomes out there as well. (we are currently out of state and cannot go and check it out for ourselves) I think Kim has great follow through and is a huge bonus for the business. All customer service people she be as pleasant and helpful as Kim. Looking forward to actually meeting her when we get back to the area. Thank you Kim! read more

We are leaving Extra Storage for a couple of reasons. First, our rent doubled from $80 to $160 over the past few months. That seems too high for a facility that is falling apart. The elevator in the front hasn't worked in weeks and won't be fixed for quite a while. On the other hand, the employees are terrific. They are super nice and helpful. read more

I will never use any Extra Space Storage facility. I got mold in my climate controlled unit and I'm not covered even though I paid insurance. I've spent 3 weeks on this claim only to be denied. I was lied to and given the runaround. I'm out $250 for getting items cleaned. Why did store mgr. take pictures of my items if he knew I wasn't covered? read more

Clean, efficient, stored 2 family homes of possessions for a move, everything went great.

Tho they are the cheapest in the immediate area I have poor drainage in front of my unit and lights are on only on a few rows of units. I'm in the dark in winter w icy conditions coming...you get wat u pay for!!! read more

Jillian is the manager and went out of her way to help me out. My 2002 Mustang didn't fit into a 15x10 storage unit. I was about 4" inches to long. After telling her I'd have to find another storage location she took my name and number and thought she might have a 20x10 unit available very soon. She told me to stop back the next week before I signed with another storage company in town. I stopped back a week later and she had the 20x10 on hold and helped me out on price for staying with Extra Space Storage. Thanks for the follow up. read more

I agree with the previous reviewer that the people that run it are very nice and they live adjacent to the facility so they are close by. I was with them for 13 months and in that time my rent went up twice. That gave me motivation to clean it out faster than I would have. This may be a corporate decision but in this economy I don't see it as a good stratagy as there are plenty of choices in this area. At night it is a bit creepy as the lighting is inadaquate and often bulbs were burned out when I was there. They do have a fenced in yard that is acceable only by password which is a good thing. If they were not so agressive on raising the rent I would give it 4 stars and if the lighting was better it would get 5. read more
