The units are clean. The staff is so helpful. I had to make a damage claim due to an AC leak. It was an easy process and I was paid in full for the damage.Brandy is awesome. She helped me move units and made everything seamless. I could not ask for a better experience. read more

My favorite day here was the day I moved out. Five stars for the wonderful, incredibly helpful employees and spotless, secure storage. Zero stars for the company that owns the place and mercilessly raises the price nearly every month after you move in. I'm so grateful I had the means to get out. read more

For weeks the secured door to the building has been broken and is open making all of our stuff at risk. Anyone can enter the building. I am shocked that the owners haven't fixed it. read more

Absolutely NOT !!! They LURE you in with a reasonable price telling you that price is good 6 months or a year ??? Now after 3 months they DOUBLE the Price !!! I spoke to the location manager who was VERY helpful and understanding. I'm pleased with the Manager but NOT the Company !! I suggest you get everything in writing and not just words when inquiring about renting a storage unit. Many people are on ELDERLY and Handicap and can't afford price increases of 100% !! Good Manager, but the company not so good for the paying customer. read more

They quote 1 price at 35$ a month for 3 month then $70 a month after a few months then raised it to $108 month. When I inquired about the significant rate increase i was told that they could increase the rate i was told they will increase the rate as much they wanted too. They were rude and if i couldn't afford the increase that I would have to move out. Keep in mind this was only an 8x10 outside unit. I WILL NEVER USE OR REFER ANYONE TO DO BUSINESS WITH EXTRASPACE STORAGE. read more

Will never rent space again with this company, after 3 months they just raised the price an extra 53 dollars. Once I received the notice I immediately moved my stuff to another company just a mile away. I don't know what inflation charts they are looking at. Find another company. read more

Ashley was extremely helpful and courteous. I recommend this Extra Space in particular.

This spot is super convenient - easy to get in and out. The service desk is super helpful. Amazing customer service!

This was my first experience using a storage facility and I will never want to use another company again. The customer service was top notch and claiming my unit was as seamless as possible. My first month of renting was free and the rate for the additional months was better than any other facility in the New Orleans area for what I was looking for. This particular facility was brand new and the storage units were impeccably clean and secure. I trust my belongings will be safe there. read more

Extra Space Storage - 10x5 unit - Self Storage Near Me - New Orleans, Louisiana

turns out my storage facility being robbed and trashed is an inside job. The people who stole my things have an address I was using temporarily. The only place with that address is the Extra Space Storage facility. They have been trying to open credit cards and various other accounts in my name using the address only provided to this facility. Hmm, security is their "highest priority". The facility itself is responsible for over 4 units being cleaned out and that was only on my row and floor. read more

Kirk at Extra Space on Tchoupitoulas is a real professional. Easy to work with and very accommodating. Thank you.

Today I transferred to a larger unit, and Kirk and Neika were friendly and professional and highly efficient; made the whole process a snap! They kept me on the same floor in the same area, which removed a whole bunch of the hassle. All around they made what could have been something fairly taxing into a pleasant experience. I highly recommend this place for anyone like me who's making room for their newlywed to move in! Bravo! read more

excellent customer service, clean and well lit facility with lots of parkin.

So yes, it's a nice place and seems to be safe. I have it set up for them to take my bill directly from the bank. Well i look the other day and realized that they more than doubled my bill. I thought "okay, inflation. " i went the website to see if the prices were higher and the are actually lower. Looking at other reviews, i see they only reply to good reviews and i wonder why that is? read more

My girlfriend and I recently finished moving the remnants of our belongings out of this facility. We stored our belongings there shortly while moving from one house to another. We were unfortunate to have our contact info changed online somehow and lost track of our payment due dates falling behind with the facility. We became aware of this and kept in close contact w the staff there. When arrangements could be made to make payment and clear out our belongings we were shocked when finding out our unit had been ransacked. After contacting authorities and having detectives come to the site and investigate. We found that a majority of our property had been moved across the hall to a vacant unit to be more closely filtered through until it was moved to a final location packed neatly for transport out of the building. Oddly enough the locks that were placed by extra space had not been tampered w yet the numbered tag placed along w the facilities lock had been. Making us aware that someone within the staff had let in the intruders or were the intruders themselves. Not to our surprise the staff was of no help but j let us know that since we had fallen behind on payment that the property did not actually belong to us upon the time of the theft. We were not the only case like this that day we found out there was another man that had been robbed of almost 40k worth of unreplaceable family memories and keepsakes. I would not recommend even storing your trash in this facility this place should be investigated further and shut down. read more
