Overall, the communication to start with was great. They were flexible and went over each item we wanted moved. Being that we could not move ourselves I was very detailed. I felt confident. Ultimatly all the heavy items did no get moved. What they did move for furninture was damaged and getting a refund was impossible. All of a sudden the communcation turned bad. We received non of the great care we had in the start. They will convince you to sign up for expensive insuranc eand they either forge or slip in the "inluded" barley covering insurance at the end. Very good guys I was happy to tip them and treated them to some late lunch/food as well. Now the office staff in CT..... They are probably the most arrogant people I've ever talked too. I'm in the private equity business so I deal with multi-millionaires and enterprise entrepreneurs in my line of work and they are more down to earth and friendly then these guys. ALL of them.... Mike, Amanda, Sam have an attitude problem. The only good one was one guy called Peter and the first guy that sold me on this company Steven. I got lucky that I ended up with a good moving staff crew that was hard working and efficient. Be ready for a 4 hour window which you are told about 48hours before your move which isn't good for people that live in luxury buildings because the elevator needs to be reserved. I get that's not their problem but I wasn't told their was a 4 hour window till last minute. Would I use these guys again? I'm not sure I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that the office staff are good people and are just stressed out because of COVID-19, but I'm not the only person thats complained about their attitude so maybe that's just how they are. It is what it is, at the end of the day my things got moved.

I can't get these boxes by going by supermarkets, I need real boxes that have never been used. It's not me, it's my stuff - none of my things like to be anywhere where food, livestock or various sundries have been first. I have ordered from U-line in the past, but their shipping is outrageous, almost as much as the whole order. I did a little Google search and found suppliesformoving.com. At the time of the order, I had no idea they were in Brooklyn. The site is clean and all the information is readily accessible. One can guarantee that this website did not cost a lot of money, but it works. One of the best things about this company is that they have pre-prepared packages of boxes, tape, etc. divided by room and/or rooms which makes it a little easier. They have boxes for junk, boxes for tvs, boxes for lamps - are you following me here? They have supplies for moving - tape, blankets, plastic wrap, paper. So I go online and make my order (FREE shipping by the way on everything!) and expect it to come in a couple days according to the site. After the confirmation of sale is where it gets good. 30 minutes pass and I get a call from the company saying they can deliver today, the same day, in the late afternoon. OK. One hour later I get another call that they can deliver right now. Yes please. Approximately three hours after I ordered many, many boxes, they arrived in perfect shape. Having no idea this company was in Brooklyn, I guess I should consider myself lucky. The customer service was fantastic and the boxes have been working just fine. If you want quick, efficient service and if you want to get your supplies to pack and move in an instant, go to suppliesformoving.com.* ________________________ * If all of the bottoms of the boxes break while moving, damaging all of my kids' toys and my valuable possessions, I reserve the right to come back and be extremely agitated.
