Ryder rents vans for $100/day (no happy ending). Lowe's will offer a truck cheaply but the structured incentive to be done in 75 minutes is pretty unlikely. And fairly priced van rentals from standard car companies aren't even an option. Obviously it's best to shop around, but for me, U-Haul had no legitimate competition for my business. Really, the only thing better is getting your cousin's truck for a six-pack.

They communicated very well with each other, took extra steps to protect my items and took precautions with pads and floor runners to also protect the houses. I hired FOUR movers thinking it would go faster and be more efficient. Spoiler alert: it took 11 hours, cost me way more than quoted, and they STILL left the heaviest and most valuable part of my belongings behind. Meanwhile, Wildcat Moving -- with only 3 guys -- did a similar move for half the price in 6 hours flat. So don't believe the sales pitch that more money = better service with this company. That's a lie. They also promised "we don't scratch walls" -- yeah, tell that to the fresh gashes in my apartment. And trying to get help from management was like talking to a used car salesman -- nothing but slick excuses and zero accountability. Bottom line: All My Sons was overpriced, inefficient, careless, and condescending. I am furious. I'm left physically and emotionally drained, and still having to move critical items myself because they simply didn't finish the job.
