Despite the truck advertising "licensed and insured," the company has stopped responding to calls and messages. No follow-up, no accountability, no claim filed. If you damage a customer's property, own it and make it right. That's the bare minimum. I rarely leave reviews, but this experience was unacceptable. If you value your belongings and peace of mind, look elsewhere.

We placed bubble wrap around the clock, weights and pendulum to transport to their location. We purchased the shipping label through eBay, my husband explained this to the gentleman. We needed it safely packed and shipped. He assured us that they could safely do so. Our customer contacted us to let us know his clock was severely damaged. We contacted Tennessee Valley Packaging and took the photos to them to show them the damage. Their response was, it looks like it was dropped. They did not package the item, they simply made a box and placed it in it without packaging or securing the weights properly. They gave no refund, no apology, took no responsibility whatsoever. Please be very careful if using this company to package or ship anything fragile.

Anyhow, we called Muscled Up Movers on Saturday as they had great reviews and advertised "emergency moves".. Bottom line, we were loaded and moved 2 days later, for a very good price.. If you are looking to move, and you are currently in or near the Huntsville Alabama area, I would strongly suggest you use Muscled Up Movers.. The team they sent us, Monterro, Ted, and Chris were outstanding. Also, I would be remiss not to mention Frank, the guy who put this move together. First off to say these guys moved SLOOOOOOW would be an understatement. It took them more than 5 hours with three guys. So did they need to take apart beds? Nope, this was all done for them before them before hand. Perhaps difficult access? Nope, the apartment was on the first floor. Between the frequent breaks, standing around and complaining we should have known that this company wasn't legit. But there's more, after they loaded up the truck rather than drive across the parking lot and unload, they needed to take a break...no kidding. Then returning to the same complex, they got lost. Yup lost and I needed to go and direct them back to the complex. The story doesn't end there, they damaged much of the furniture they moved...including a brand new leather sofa. Did they step up on the damage they caused? Nope. We've been going back and forth with their claims people for over a month. BTW- we checked out the address for the "Claims Department" and its a Tatoo Parlor. They wanted us to make a claim with the retailer that sold us the sofa rather than MUM stepping up. Then on a custom piece of art that they damaged they suggested that they could get a commercial frame from Etsy though the original piece is clearly a custom framed piece. MY ADVICE TO FOLKS CONSIDERING USING MUSCLE UP MOVERS...just burn your money instead. MUM is the WORST COMPANY we've ever dealt with, inclusive of online retailers etc. These folks are scum bags!

I emailed back and forth with owners Robert and Angela to narrow down specifics, and they were helpful and prompt with each response. I received email reminders leading up to our move, and a phone call the morning of our move when the truck was 15 minutes out. Robert and Robert (or Rob and Bert!) arrived right on time and ready to work. They did a quick walk-thru of the space with us, where we identified which items were going where (we had to stop at a storage unit before the home we were moving into). After that, they packaged all of our items with care, and safely loaded everything onto the truck! It took around four hours to complete our move, and at around $800 total, it was well worth the price. The two Roberts were friendly, professional, and fast while still moving larger pieces carefully. We would definitely hire A&R Moving Solutions again, and highly recommend them to anyone in need of moving services in Greater Nashville.

It wouldn't be so bad except for he sent, I believe, five or six workers. Only two of them worked the entire time they were there. I wish I had gotten the names of the two workers, because they were very hard-working and did not stop the entire time. Whereas the other guys had to be told numerous times to go do something. One was even sitting in the den in a chair on his phone for quite some time. Once we are ready to move into our new home, we will have to get our stuff out of storage. Unfortunately, they showed up with no dolly and no tools, and appeared inexperienced. At one point, one of the loaders was standing around. When I asked what he was waiting on, he openly said, "I'm waiting on the dolly"--which turned out to be my dolly, not one provided by the company. That moment really highlighted the lack of preparation and professionalism. When you confirm expectations in advance, it's reasonable to expect they'll be met. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case here, and it added unnecessary stress to an already demanding moving day. I even called the person dealt with during the booking and asked that someone bring the crew a dolly but that request was not met. I am certainly glad I did not book this company for my entire move as the movers that unloaded my U-Haul (in Dallas) were absolutely superb for same cost.
