The one time move in fee for the rental vehicle, gas and mileage was more than fair. I paid.25 cents a mile and.25 cents a mile for gas and I had the rental truck from 11am until 5pm and my total cost was $8.50. The great customer service, the great truck rental fee, plus the clean rental facility deserves 5 stars from me. I highly recommend!

The movers were extremely unprofessional when it came to handling my belongings. They didn't seem to work well together, and they often carried more than they could safely manage. As a result, several items were dropped or damaged. One example was a file cabinet that was damaged so badly that it is no longer usable. They also damaged my $2,000 leather couch. They wrapped it with probably $100 worth of packing materials--which I had to pay for--yet they still left a significant portion of the couch exposed and unprotected. If you don't purchase full-value protection, you quickly find out that you have very little coverage for damaged belongings. But the damage wasn't the worst part. After the movers left, I realized that some of my belongings were missing. I had a couple of random boxes containing various items from my house that I had packed at the last minute. Both boxes were gone. I checked my old house and my new house, and they were nowhere to be found. Some valuable items were in those boxes, and unfortunately, I have no way to recover them. Everyone involved simply says, "I don't know. I didn't see anything." When I contacted management, I was essentially told that it was a legal matter and that I should call the police. At that point, there wasn't much I could realistically do. I ended up taking the loss and moving on. However, I want to warn anyone considering using this company: these movers were extremely unprofessional, and I would not recommend them. My belongings were damaged, items went missing, and the entire experience was incredibly frustrating.

For these reasons, I'm increasing my rating from 1 to 3 stars. ___________________ During the sales and scheduling process, Bold Moving was wonderful. They were flexible and accommodating. They even said they would pack and move liquids if they were not "Flammable or combustible items (gasoline, kerosene, propane, etc.). Everything changed once they showed up. The packers were very nice but told us they could not pack any liquids. When I followed up with the salesperson they responded, "I thought it was only flammable liquids, but you could pack non flammables in a plastic bin not in cardboard boxes in case it leaks." The real challenge started when scheduling the delivery of our items after they were in storage for about 6 weeks. I emailed two weeks in advance asking for a specific delivery date. It was accepted as the first available delivery date, and I was told they would call the day before to confirm the delivery time. When I didn't receive that call, I followed up with them first via email then via phone. I was told they would put our stuff on a truck, and it would be delivered "sometime early next week" which was about 5 days later. It was clear they would not make the date requested but no one reached out to tell us. This was extremely frustrating since I had a business trip the following week. I followed up daily but could not get a confirmed delivery date. I canceled my business trip on a Monday when someone told me they would going to try and deliver our items that week. He was very clear that he would contact me when there was an update. Therefore, I stopped following up. On Wednesday, I received a phone call from the driver. They were 20 minutes away from the empty house I was not at. Due to the lack of communication in the delivery process, everything felt like a fire drill. I lost money on the business trip that had to be rescheduled and incurred additional costs extending our temporary housing. But, I was relieved to finally have our things. The delivery team was also nice, but many items were broken. The leg on one of our dressers was broken. They blamed the packers because the dresser was just wrapped with all the original items inside making it heavier. Some dressers were emptied but some were still full. I could here the contents of our nightstands rattling around inside. Although wardrobe boxes were used, none of our clothes were hung up - just thrown in the box with the hangers on them. Kitchen items were just thrown in boxes. Some of boxes weren't even properly labeled - just "K" for kitchen. Lastly, the delivery team left scuff marks all over the walls with deep dings in some places on the wall. This was my worst moving experience ever. I would never recommend Bold Moving & Storage.

We just never have enough space, and lord knows this old house was built during a time when closet space wasn't a priority. The perks of Mini Price...a professional team. More than just "climate control " which at our previous space, meant, your 4 walls and a roof overhead to keep out rain, sun, snow. Mini Price actually has Air Conditioning, which makes it much more comfortable when needing to run in for something or to store something away. It feels very secure. My only gripe, would be, they advertise a price on their website, but that price is the "this is where they get you" per our salesperson. You can expect a pretty low price for the first 2 months and then the price goes way up. Apparently this place caters to short term clients, and it is a bargain if you just need a month or two. That being said, the price still isn't bad once you factor in that it is new, clean, AC, secure, a team of professionals on site to assist if needed, and ease of use. Though we did not take advantage of it, they even have moving trucks for move-in use, only fee is mileage. When we went to check this place out, the units with the size space we were seeking were fully occupied, so we ended up with a larger space for not much more than we were paying at the previous place. For that, the value is pretty good. Overall, so far so good. I would definitely recommend Mini Price for your self storage needs.

They moved extremely slowly, spent a significant amount of time standing around, and appeared completely disinterested in working. Before any work even began, one employee asked to use the bathroom, another had my husband sign paperwork, and then the entire crew went outside and informed us they needed to call a manager because they "might not be able to do the move." This was especially frustrating because we had clearly stated MULTIPLE TIMES before moving day that they were only moving furniture and packed boxes. Despite this, they repeatedly complained about "loose items" throughout the process, even after being told over and over that we were handling those items ourselves and only needed the furniture and boxes moved. We were told a manager would arrive in 15 minutes. Instead, we waited around 30 minutes while nothing got done. When the manager finally arrived, he moved just as slowly as the rest of the crew and immediately started focusing on the same "loose items" issue that had already been addressed numerous times. The situation became even more frustrating when the manager implied work would begin shortly, only for the story to suddenly change again to them being unable to do the move at all after he called another manager. What followed was more arguing about loose items rather than any effort to complete the job they were hired to perform. I have never seen or heard of a moving company refuse to move furniture and packed boxes when that is literally the service they were contracted to provide. The entire experience was unprofessional, disorganized, and a complete waste of our time. To make matters worse, we are still waiting on the refund that the owner stated we would receive. They worked very efficiently especially moving items up 3 floors on an 85-degree day. The quote was quite accurate(even though I helped just a bit). There was a two-hour minium, even though it only took 1 hr 45mins to load, drive, and unload all of my items to the new apartment. James lied or looked at the wrong contact info!! The company took it upon themselves to auction off the contents of my unit just a mere few days ago. My information on my account in their computer system was totally wrong. Everything is gone. Forever. After nine years. All of my family's heirlooms, furniture, jewelry, pictures. Gone. I'm so devastated. This MAJOR COMPANY SCREW UP would never have happened if Christine had still been employed at Extra Attic on Patterson Ave. Unbelievable.
