    If I could give ZERO stars - I would! I scheduled a move 2 weeks ago and Steve confirmed with me 2…read moredays ago. I get a call this morning 30min before scheduled arrival from Steve asking if we could push the move back another day. First off, you don't call someone 30min before and pull this stunt. I had already planned a cleaning crew and move out date with my landlord so this was already a major inconvenience. 30min before is not okay. He then agreed to go ahead and get it done that day. Well he completely ghosted me. He never answered his phone or texts all day long and left me and my pregnant wife waiting all day. This was the most unprofessional BS I've ever seen from anyone. I would never even consider using Steve's company as he has proven he is incredibly unprofessional and unreliable. His little BS stunt cost me more money and time that I don't have. Terrible!

I showed them what was to be moved. They excused themselves went back to the truck. Then I got a call from their office they didn't want to do it so they were cancelling. I asked for my deposit back they said no because it was a same day cancelation. I talked to a lawyer I know he said file a fraud charge ack with the bank. I wish I hadn't used my debit card instead of credit card. Lawyer said deposit is to protect be against customer bailing out. It's part of what you paid them to do work, they changed their mind they have no right to keep the money. To be clear the one star is for dishonesty on the company's. Part. Otherwise I wouldn't have left any review. So Monday I will file a dispute with bank.

To start, when I called to get a quote I was asked to go room by room and list what items we had. So they knew up front. I was also informed they will take apart all beds and put them back together for us on this call. The day before the move, my husband moved the majority of boxes himself and hired TMAAT mainly for the heavy stuff because I just had a baby. I asked the men how long they thought this would take since we were estimated 10-11 hours on paper. They said this shouldn't take any longer than 8-9 hours. As moving started, we were told they couldn't touch my husbands bowflex (previously disclosed) unless the whole pulley system was taken off. Not an easy process. My husband and I decided to move it out the door ourselves. At this point I was only 6 weeks post a c section. My husband and I got it out of the door without removing any pulleys and asked if they could at least put it on their truck to take it to our new house. We were then told oh yeah I just didn't think it would fit out of the door with the pulleys connected. I had previously purchased and was charged for mattress bags at booking. I went upstairs to find the men moving my expensive mattress with no bag on it. I told them I paid for mattress bags. They told me they weren't informed of this and had to call their supervisor. I showed the receipt I had. They said someone from their office had to bring the bags to us. We waited at least an hour. You are charged hourly for this service and here they are ready to load up this mattress and now they can't. They worked on a few other things but I know this stalled the move. When the guy showed up with the bags he had brought a queen bag for my king mattress so now he had to go back to their office and get the right size. Here we are waiting AGAIN. This took at least another hour. Next, we were told for liability reasons they can take apart the bunk beds and crib that we had (again previously disclosed) but they can't put them back together. My toddler was the one still sleeping in the crib and if you aren't the one taking something apart, it's not going to be easy to just put together quickly yourself. The next issue: I informed the men that the refrigerator will not fit through the door with its doors on. They first tried to just remove the handles and open the doors but since the doors don't open fully they proceeded to wedge and get the refrigerator stuck and had to go back and remove the doors as I told them. My husband called the supervisor to see if the man that took apart the crib could at least assist putting it back together. They agreed to this. At this point, the movers couldn't find the bolts to the crib. They also remembered they had left the bolts to another bed at the old house. They lost something else I don't remember what, but my husband had to drive to the old house himself multiple times for them. One man took forever trying to figure out how to put the refrigerator back together. The door handle is still loose and the front is all scratched up. They left trash at our house and even their own furniture pads were left behind. Walls were damaged. They said they shaved hours off the move to compensate us for the problems, but this time, in my opinion, was time we should never have been charged anyway. Time waiting on mattress bags (twice!), time looking for lost items, my husbands time and gas running between homes, time to put back together a refrigerator (a professional should not have taken that long)..... they never found the crib bolts. I eventually found them a few days later. We were not compensated or discounted for this HORRIBLE experience other than shaving a few hours off the time which was time we shouldn't have been responsible for anyway. They ended up clocking it at 13 hours and charged us for 10.5. Interesting as they originally said easy move 8-9 hours. I was told to file a claim for everything else.

Compassion Movers came to our rescue, they had to come back with an engine lift after a couple of days but they got it lifted and mounted on the stand that it came with. They were reasonably and fairly priced and I was more than happy to support a locally owned moving business.

    I used this company on the recommendation of a friend without checking them out first. My move was…read moresupposed to happen in two parts on a saturday. By the end of the day I was told it would have to be Sunday instead. This created some significant problems but I was willing to work with them. On Sunday, I was told it was going to have to be moved to Tuesday. It just so happened that I was going to be out of town on Tuesday and couldn't receive the second part of the move. I was told that would be rescheduled at my convenience. The bulk of the move did actually happen on Tuesday. When the day came for the second part of the move to happen, which was only a bed and a grandfather clock, I got put off again, from Saturday to Sunday. And on Sunday, right at the end of the agreed-upon window, I got a call asking for more money to complete the job. I was informed that because of my inability to receive the second part of the move on Tuesday, I was going to have to pay more. No matter that I was available to receive it Saturday, Sunday, and even Monday if that had been an option. The delay was not due to any action on my part and was actually very stressful for me. Yet I was at fault for not being available on Tuesday at the second location. My big mistake was not reading enough reviews before hiring this company. Although they have some good reviews, and I have no doubt they can do a good job, several other people have reported having issues similar to what I experienced. Had I seen those accounts I probably would have looked for someone else to do the move. I do not recommend this company for your moving needs.

    Boxx It Up Is The Best!…read more BIU moved me on Saturday, 4/13 - a day full of severe weather in Dallas. My move did not take place until much later in the day than scheduled but not to worry because BIU: * The Office kept me in the communication loop. * The Men were most professional, energetic and proficient in spite of being rained and hailed on throughout the day . * Charged me 'exactly' as discussed (used a Groupon for 4 hours of the move).     DO NOT USE: They need 100 NEGATIVE star rating…read more DAMAGES TO PROPERTY: They damaged BRAND NEW furniture, dining room table, bedroom furniture and other things and just advised me to call a number to file a claim to a number that no one answers. PRICE GOUGE - Adds RIDICULOUS trumped up fees that are not in the contract. They have generic contract without any totals on it except the cost for that agreement we initially made. However, they charged me an addition $500 extra. and wouldnt take my most valuable items off the truck until I paid. Threatened me with storage fees and drove off with my valuables for 12 hours forcing me to pay the trumped up charges. When they returned, they would not deliver the heavy items into the home. The police had to them move it upstairs. CUSTOMER SERVICE - The people who do return your a call eventually are skilled scammers, and professional liars. One of the movers who is the owner of the fraudulent business denies accountability. POOR MOVING WORK ETHIC - Movers was an hour and thirty minutes late. Complained they were tired the whole time becuase this was there 5 move. They took smoke breaks, and was very, very slow. One guy stood around and waited for orders from the lead mover who is the owner. One bedroom apartment took TWO trips because they didnt pack the truck up. I later learned this was part of the time scam. I do NOT have a lot of items that would taken 6 hours to move. The mover gave me a generic receipt that looks a waiter could of written up in restaurants. In my opinion, don't think this company should be in buisnesd and should have their licenses to move people revoked. Location: This company is web based. They don't have a physical address, but there website provides a suite number. There is an apartment building at that address. There is soooo much more I can warn you about, but I hope you learn from my HORRIBLE experience and USE A REPUTABLE company. Be sure not to get in this jam.
