Our 85-inch TV was clearly part of the move, was discussed, and was packed/wrapped by their crew. After the move, we discovered the screen was cracked and the TV was ruined. Yes, we were told the morning of the move that TVs are not covered, and we signed the paperwork. But at that point, we were already moving that day and had no realistic alternative for a 100+ pound, 85-inch TV. That kind of policy should be made crystal clear during the estimate, not when the truck is already there. A moving company should not agree to pack and transport a large, expensive television and then take zero responsibility if it is damaged. "We'll move it, but if we break it, that's your problem" is not acceptable. I spoke to the manager, Keith, and told him we were happy with the move until discovering the broken TV. We generously tipped the 4 movers and I was planning to recommend them as I'm a realtor. He would not give a penny toward our loss. We are now out the cost of replacing an 85-inch TV, which is approximately $2000. I absolutely do not recommend this company.

I spoke with someone that handles customer service higher up than the last time I dealt with them. She told me that the delay in my shipment was simply bad luck and things happen that are out of their control. And that the stolen/missing items we discovered while unpacking can't be covered due to the fact that when the movers were leaving they had me sign a receipt. That receipt waved them of any responsibility they had for our possessions. Except when two guys are carrying boxes and putting them down all over your new home in a hurry it's hard to keep track of what they brought and what they didn't bring. And most of the boxes had two shipping stickers on them because they didn't have enough space on the first truck to bring all of our belongings. That's where the unlucky part comes in. My recommendation is never use this company to move anything anywhere and if you do use a moving company video everything in your home and use your own tracking system for what they are taking. Make sure before they start moving your stuff that it will fit in the truck they brought and never ever sign anything no matter what or how pushy they might get. And another thing, if they won't take a personal check from you don't use them period. The reason is if you discover after the fact that you are missing items at least you have a fair chance of putting a stop payment on the check. I'm not saying cheat these people all I'm saying is give yourself a fair chance to make sure everything is correct and in good condition.
