And I said I didn't receive a letter and Little Miss Dolores said "WE DON'T DO THAT" WILL I FINALLY FOUND TWO LETTERS FOR TWO DIFFEREN OCCASION!!!! AND THIS LAST TIME I CALLED TO MAKE A PAYMENT and she said THAT ALL OF MY PROPERTY IS GONE! BUT EXTRA SPACE is so different they are professional and I have one in Leander and 3 in Austin on 620 near Sam's. I want to express my total gratitude to TIERNEY MCMORRIS , ASSISTANT  MANAGER she helped me out so much. So if you're in the Cedar Park or Leander area that one on Crystal Falls is the best!! And Tara at 620 & 183 gets 5 's also both of the property are clear Very SECURE so you can sleep good but storing your belongings at the. Also Jeff has a brand new location in Georgetown on Hwy 29. So if you live near there that's another GREAT place..

    Do not rent here, they have a rat infestation and do not maintain the property well…read more Do not rent here you will regret it. They have a serious rodent problem and will refer you to your insurance for their infestation. They will not move you to another unit citing that they don't want to touch your stuff, but that's not really a fix now is it. Do not expect any assistance other than sweeping up rat poop with no gloves and a regular broom. If you ask for management, they will be busy and will call back at their leisure to again offer NO actual assistance. Renter beware.

They're scammers, hostage holders and thieves. Save your sanity and read all of this. If I could give them zero stars I would. They're crooked. They scam you. They rake you over the coals. And they don't care in the least at all. When I first rented the cost was low so I went ahead and paid for a year to lock in that price. Because I know storage companies can raise your rates at any given time unless you lock it in. At the end of that year when it was time to renew I went into the office in person and Jose was there at the time. And said what the new price was, which is double what I had been paying. And they would only allowed 6 months and not a year. I pulled up their own website to show them what they were currently advertising. And they should honor what they were advertising. Jose said he would contact his manager and get back with me. He didn't as he said he would. And that, whoever he talked to, did allow me to get what the advertised price was. Jose was the only person who was customer friendly. At this 6 month renewal, which I wouldn't have known about the increase if I didnt I happened to have gone into my account. So at this current renewal I called in to talk to someone about that price. I had the deadly curse of having to have my call answered by Jason. He was the rudest person I've talked to in a business. He was definitely a non-friendly person. Absolutely ZERO customer service. I'd get fired if I talked to someone the way he talked to me. He didn't have ANY, NONE, ZERO care about working with a customer. He didnt have a care in the world of at least even attempting to try to work with a customer. Everything I attempted to discuss with him was shut down at every word. He didn't take any consideration into genuinely listening to me. Everything was just no-no-no-no-no. Along with his arrogance of repeatedly saying its just the way it is, nothing were not gonna do about it and nothing you can do about it and nothing you say is gonna make any difference or change anything. He talked to me like an abusive karen mother talking to her scared children. So rude and hateful and arrogant. He ended hanging up on me. So I went in there today after work to pay another 6 months renewal. And oohh just my luck that Jason was there. I showed him what they were currently advertising for the same size unit as mine. And he said those were special prices. Not for renewal tenants.. I asked every single one of them, all of them, every single one you're advertising is a special. He said yes every single ine of them. He told me I didnt have to believe him. I said I dont. I think guys jack people around. And this is one of the ways. He told me in all his arrogance he was the district manager and that I wont win. I said of course you are and rolled my eyes. He just kept telling me that's the way it is and nothing you say matters over and over. I told you that on the phone when we talked about this. I told him yes we talked and you were a d1ck same as you are right now. I truly and honestly believe he needs to be fired and never work again in any job involving Jim having to speak to any customer.

    My husband and I were tenants here for two and a half years. The staff had always been very helpful…read moreand kind. We never had any problems with our climate control storage unit. When we went to move out of our outdoor unit (after the purchase of our home) we discovered that it had been completely destroyed by rodents. There was urine and feces everywhere. I immediately called the office. They were very helpful and assured not to worry that we had their "Protection Plan" with up to $3,000 in coverages. The manager emailed me the forms right away and told me to photograph and document everything. I pulled out our copies of the agreement and saw that we did initial their plan. We proceeded to file the claim. This particular unit housed all of our decorations for the holidays and all of our outdoor stuff ( a playscape, Homemade ornaments, gifts from my girls, life jackets, and inflatables for the yard that upon discovery, had been eaten and nested in by rats. Our above ground pool had even been eaten... the whole liner destroyed by bite marks urine and feces. After having to dispose of almost every item and tirelessly documenting each and every thing, we sent over our claim. This is where the trouble began. The storage facility was quick to hand over our claim but beware. The processing/insurance company they deal with have SEVERAL complaints through the BBB and online for bad business. They first said that they did not receive the pictures. I resent them multiple times, multiple ways and it took a week for them to confirm receipt. A week went by and still no updates.... I checked the claims portal they provided us with and it had not been updated since the submission of our claim. I emailed again for an update. The claims agent finally responded saying the storage unit manager never turned in their side of the documents. I asked them why it took them weeks to notify us of this with no response. The storage unit manger replied and sent over their side. Then, within the hour the claims agent responded saying "we are prepared to offer $500 as per your protection plan" I was shocked and appalled. I once again pulled out our paper copies. No where was it stated $500. I began to scroll through the documents that the storage manger provided. (Our contract, contact information and the protection plan) And there buried was an electronic form with the full contract. In the fine print it disallows any coverage over $500 rodents or pests. Upon reading it further, this policy that we've paid on every month for two and a half years pretty much covers nothing for anyone. The ONLY REASON we had this crap policy is because the storage unit REQUIRED you have an insurance policy at signing to rent a unit. You initial and they "conveniently" text you a form to e-sign... and buried in that document is where you find out the policy is crap. I feel completely taken advantage of. We had been essentially paying for our stuff to sit, rot and be urinated defecated on by rodents. They say that hindsight is 20/20, and looking back on things there is no way that they did not know that they had a rodent issue. They just don't care because at the end of the day, the only people they are hurting are the families who trust them with their belongings. No big deal, right? There are some extremely shady and dishonest business practices going on here.
