I LOVED HOW NONE OF MY WOOD BATS BROKE It took me a few rounds to get my timing down. Those foam balls fly and give a satisfying "Crack" off my wood bats when properly barrelled. Ended the day with 10 rounds in the 80mph cage and cant wait till im in town again to make a follow-up cage appearance. Fun staff good food and a great time had by all the kiddos ( 8yo& 2yo girls... and a 46yo man-child who visits several local cages, multiple times a week as my, "Therapy Sesh."

They have what seems like countless batting cages of all speeds for both baseball and softball. And they offer two mini bowling alleys with a handful of multi-player shooting games, air hockey, and some baseball throwing games! Want to see how hard you can punch? They have that game there too. Want to dance? Then go play Dance Dance Revolution! Want to play some multi-player basketball shooting games? They've got you covered! I could spend hours at Taroko! It's in Freestone Park and isn't necessarily hidden but if you don't live in the surrounding neighborhood you may not even realize it's there - I didn't (and I was looking). We have been here several times now and never had an issue. There are several cages and speeds to choose from, you can pay with coins or rent cage for a 1/2 or full hour. From what I can see the place is properly maintained and all machines are working and fairly consistent. This place is no frills but they do have plenty of loaner bats and helmets if you need them. They also have a small selection of drinks/water/Powerade etc if you need. This has become my sons favorite weekend activity so we will keep coming back. Good way to burn some time and calories and not break the bank. It's also hardly ever crowded so better than having to stand in line somewhere or deal with crowds. Looking for a good "old fashioned" batting cage in the East valley, this is your place. Cheers!

It's a bit old and…read morerun down, and the pitches fluctuates, but the guys that worked there could always adjust it for us right away. I think they are under new management now. We went there yesterday, in one cage the pitches were way too high, and in the other cage, the pitches were way wide beyond reach, but we were told by the guy that worked there he can't adjust it himself. Somebody comes and does it once a week? And you are supposed to get 10 balls each time, the machine ran out of balls after the 3rd one. So disappointing. If it's going to be like this, we won't be going back.

He does give a lesson or two but he is the most unprofessional, unethical, unreliable person you will meet. He will offer you "packages" but then always cancels lessons with no notice or just doesn't show up. He scammed us out of over $1500 and, even though agreed and promised to, will not refund our money. He now won't respond and does everything possible to get money out of you. DONT DO IT. He is the exact example of what people warn you about. He was working out of Full count and Hitters House but I've heard he's also at Dingers. Stay away.

I wouldn't say this is the absolute worst batting cage in Arizona but there's definitely better…read morealternatives. The machines only gave you one or two seconds to load into your swing before it threw a pitch, and seeing the ball come out of the machine was hard. The pitch machine was inconsistent at times, however when it fed a good pitch once in a while it was easy to hit. Sharing the machines does make for a pain trying to get into line and waiting. I understand it's busy which is ok, but maybe have more than 1 or 2 soft toss cages for people who just wanna work on their form instead of getting tossed into a machine pitch batting cage with no warmup. Prices are really good I will say, you definitely get your moneys worth. It's certainly not horrible, but if you're looking for better, there's a Scottsdale Batting Cage 20 minutes north off the 101 which has great machines, is very calm, and are versatile between soft toss and machine pitch at your own discretion.

They have lights that kick on and help! If you're going to visit frequently I suggest you look at purchasing the token passes as one token is $1.25 and usually get you about 14 balls. You're better off buying a 20 token or a 50 token pass if you plan to come in to get your hit groove on. If you don't have a bat they can provide you with some along with a helmet but if you have your own bring it along with your gloves to get the best time out of the experience. Take frequent breaks because if you don't you'll find yourself going through 10 tokens really quick. Staff are is helpful and used the speed charts they have posted to know what the cage speeds are doing.
