I may have some disagreements or even feel that they don't understand. I realize that it takes a certain kind of awareness to understand. I still learned a lot about my self. I felt pretty different. I was older and there was a lot of immaturity. It was a fun adventure.

Wrong, anyone who wants to take classes here can actually do, whether you're a base ID holder or just a common citizen. All you have to do is provide them your information or whichever it is they needed from you. You can do all this and get some information at the welcome center at craycroft gate. The classes they have here are mostly nights which works out perfectly with your schedule. They also offer accelerated classes (classroom and online) ranging from 8-16 weeks class period. The professors i had so far are very well informed, nice; and class to teacher ratio is superb, which is a plus for me. This facility can also assure you that by the end of the day the car you left on the parking lot with the widows down will still be there ^_^ *awesomeness*

That's not the fault of staff. Parents also fail to recognize that no one can be helped if they don't accept that it takes work on their on part. The boys I've seen "fail" the program have just rejected it. So tell me this, how can you say the program failed if you've never even allowed yourself to open up and go through it? This place changed my life for the better and I owe everything to my parents and the ranch staff for helping through my journey here (2017-2019).

Actually in order for me to get a PARTIAL refund of the $10,492 owed to me by Ron Searle and Arivaca Boys Ranch from 2018- I took him to collections and got a partial payment of just $8000 in May of 2020. That was after 2 years of Ron dodging and avoiding me. Of the $8000 returned from Ron, 40% of that went to the collection agency. So in reality I was not refunded in full. If you need photo evidence just let me know- I see I can upload a photo of the agreement Ron signed right here on Yelp for all potential future clients of your "therapeutic ranch that excels in school with all new staff" (yes- I'm sure it's completely different now). It was honestly terrifying to get started when I was so far behind, but the amazing office staff at Compass walked me through the entire sign up process with endless patience. Not once was I ever made to feel inferior or like a waste of time by any of the teachers or students. All of the classes were well paced so I was never left behind and the staff always made time to help me wherever they could. The teachers all did everything they could to help me get to where I needed to be, and now, after 3 years, I was able to graduate in May 2019! I could never have done it without everyone's help at Compass High School!

I've already been twice in five months and would highly recommend this spot for the following reasons: 1. Riding quality. Tucson is home to signature climbs like Gates Pass and Mt. Lemmon, and there is ample terrain to get lots of long rides in. 2. Staff attitude. Owen, Brendan and the whole Cycling House team really go out of their way to keep everyone energized and engaged. Whether it's getting to know us personally, or commending our (often mediocre) efforts, they make you feel very included and excited to be there. 3. Food. The cooking is great and you have access to unlimited espresso! 4. Setup. The house creates a communal feel that is far better than staying in a hotel. Massage therapy and hot tub are available. 5. Value. The price seems very fair for what you get. I would have no hesitation recommending this camp to any road or mountain biker. The ability to tailor routes daily ensures everyone gets the riding miles they are comfortable with. Highly recommended!!

Eva is a great instructor!…read more I took the Firearms Safety and Basic Pistol Shooting Course. It was $135 for 5 hours of instruction. There were 9 participants and two instructors (Eva herself and a young man named Elias). 2 or so hours were spent in the classroom, 2 or so hours on the range (it was at an outdoor range near Tucson). Instructor: Eva is super nice! I was a bit worried before I took the course that I would be intimidated and get stressed out but Eva is so sweet and was joking all the time, which made the class super chill and fun. Other participants: There were some very nice older ladies, some elderly gentlemen, and two 30-somethings. They were all nice. Most of them were shooting for the first time. What was covered in the classroom: Basic safety rules when handling a gun. How to load and unload it. How to aim and shoot. The different parts of the gun and how they work. The different parts of the cartridge and how it works. Some other things. What happened on the range: We split up into two groups. One group was instructed by Eva, the other by Elias. I was in Eva's group. The participants took turns and got personal instructions. Eva told us what to do, watched us, and corrected our grip, stance, aiming, etc. I shot 5 times and about 40 rounds total. Btw, you need to bring your own ammunition or buy it from Eva (it's not included in the price of the course). First, I shot a .22 caliber (forgot the name), then two different 9mm calibers (a Glock 19 and a S&W Shield), then two revolvers of different sizes (forgot the names). Some people brought their own guns but it is not necessary to do so; you can use Eva's. Breaks: During classroom time, Eva did a break every hour for people to get a snack or go to the bathroom. During range time, since participants take turns, you can just go to the bathroom or whatever when it is someone else's turn. Eva also provided some snacks (granola bars, water, and gatorade). But I recommend you bring your own snacks unless you had a big breakfast. I recommend this course. I think all participants had a good time.
