The school has a serious drug problem that they are not addressing. Kids are getting and using…read moredrugs on campus. The staff is aware where the kids are using drugs and campus and just keep saying they don't have enough staff to deal with it. They do nothing about retaliation or addressing the problem but they'll call you 10 times if your kid is incorrectly marked absent.

Well, I wish I could be wrong while writing this review but unfortunately this is one of the middle…read moreschools in Rita Ranch that parents involved with the way that they work there warm me about ( for the second time ) , I had a child going to that middle school previously and we had a very bad experience with them before, so I decide to give it another try and give them the benefit of the doubt, but unfortunately this is a very disappointing school on the vail district, stuff its under trained and probably bored of listening parents ask for the progress of their kids. I personally try to meet with the principal in charge as of 07/2024 to present school cycle and it looks like she has no time to meet what so ever plus the secretary probably thinks that she is working on a detention center not a middle school being so rude every time I call to ask for different concerns about my student education there, answering like a robot not a human being to just write an email to every one I had ask for to address my concerns not giving me any other choices, some people just go to work for a pay check not to being helpful if ask. so please be aware of this situation before thinking of enrolling your child there unless you want to be mistreated for wondering on the progress of your kid.

Everyone was so kind and gracious, from the older students who were involved in the program to the teachers. University High has a great mentor program which my daughter signed up for. They basically match your child, based on the filled out profile, with a like minded Junior or Senior. The first year of high school is hard, but I feel better knowing that my daughter has a friend and mentor. For the first time ever, my daughter is actually looking forward to school starting! This review is based solely on her BOOST experience, so a full review is coming in a year or two. Hopefully it will be another five star!

Mountain Rose is awesome location on the Northside for students that need to graduate early or on…read moretime. Haley the principal puts her heart into helping kids graduate. Rick the Assistant Principal also goes the extra mile. I'd encourage any parent or student to go for a tour. The facility is brand new, the computers are high tech and students can work at their own pace with help. I couldn't say enough about the staff. It's the real deal when other schools have dropped the ball.
