This school is known to discriminate against students, especially their special education students and families. The staff is poorly trained and they're constantly trying to replace teachers who either quit or get fired. Their test scores are abysmal and sadly, they don't prioritize students. It's a negative, mean and cruel environment for kids to spend years in. Avoid at all costs.

The school has been kept up, and the staff is always willing to go the extra mile to help every student. This age, it is harder and harder to find a teacher, let alone a school that will do this. I am sharing my family's experience with Carden Christian Academy on Swan Road in Tucson because I…read morewas unable to find a place to leave a public review. Our experience was extremely disappointing. The school advertises the Carden teaching method, but I found the curriculum difficult to understand, and I watched several kindergarten students struggle with the way they were being taught. Weekly spelling lists contained only a few words with very little practice or reinforcement, and the words were rarely used in sentences to help children understand them. Instead of helping students succeed, the teaching methods left many children confused. I also witnessed a teacher grab a child roughly by the arm. I was so concerned that I found the child's parent and told them what I had seen. My grandchild once forgot his water bottle and was told to drink water from the bathroom sink instead of being offered another solution. What concerns me most is student safety and privacy. Personal information about my grandchild was shared with someone who was not authorized on the pickup or contact list. That is a serious breach of trust. Parents pay a substantial amount of tuition expecting quality education, professionalism, and a safe environment. Based on our experience, we did not receive that. I also find it concerning that I have been unable to locate a public place to leave a review of this school. I hope other parents will carefully research the school, ask detailed questions about its curriculum, student safety procedures, and privacy practices before making the decision to enroll their children. This was our family's experience, and I believe other parents deserve to hear it when making an important decision about their child's education.

The last straw was when the teacher allowed three kids to assault my very young grandchild in a way that is so disgusting I can't post it here. The teacher had the attitude of "they're just kids" but we reported the main kid who was the problem and who constantly harms other kids several times and. They did nothing to protect the kids from this abusive child. They should be closed down for neglect and child endangerment. I feel sorry for the other kids who have likely been assaulted there. I also really love how the school does events that gets family involved. We've been going here for over a year, Dr. Fil and the teachers feel like an extension of our family. When my father in law was sick, Dr. Fil had my sons class make him a get well card.
