I went to get my feet done Friday, April 17th, by Nina. I originally went in to have shellac removed and just to have polish change to regular polish to give my nails a break. Anyway, I ended up getting a pedicure with regular polish. My feet look like a child did them, definitely not a professional job. Don't waste your time! They need to clean this place up! It's unsanitary! It needs a extreme wipe down with some bleach and disinfectant. Nail clippings and debris EVERYWHERE! Went in to get my nails done, they lady who did them were so sweet and they came out looking good, but as i was getting them done they were burning a lot to the point where i kept having to take my nails out of the uv light because they hurt so bad. After a couple of weeks, some broke off so i went back to get them fixed, this time it was burning so much more but i didn't care because i just wanted them done and didnt have any one else to do them in such a short period of time, a couple of days later i noticed two of my nails having this white stripe at the end of them, then maybe like a week after that i noticed that my natural nail was actually lifting like it was about to fall off, keep in mind ive been to many other places to get my nails done and that has never happened. Yesterday i went to get them removed and told the manager that my natural nails were about to fall off, he still had the nerve to charge me $15 to get them removed, which i understand things cost, but at the same time why are you charging me and you know that my literal nails are about to fall off, he was so rude about the situation and tried to say it was because i've had them on for too long... which doesn't make any sense whatsoever because it had only been around a few weeks and even if i did have them on for long i shouldn't get a infection to the point where my natural nails are falling off. now because of this i have to wait months to get my nails done again. would not recommend this place, the nail artists are nice but the owner is insufferable, would give this place 0 stars if i could. read more

i will never. repeat will never step foot in this nail salon again! i was gifted a full set and toe polish for my birthday. the charge was supposed to be $235.00 my friend was charged double the amount ($470.00) and they also threw a few extra unnecessary/made up charges in there as well. there was a double charge dispute and thank god she checked with her bank because the owner definitely wasnt going to refund it. but once he was notified he promised to make ot right with a free fill in/ toe polish. so today i decided to stop and ask the owner about it after work. he basically called me and my friend a liar until i called my friend on the phone for confirmation. he then stated that he remembered her and the situation. he knew he was caught in a lie so he turned red and became irate. at that point i tried to leave but he had my phone talking to my friend because my friend wasnt personally there and he refused to give my phone back. then he cursed at me and wouldnt stop yelling. he even called the police and didnt want me to leave but thank god i remained calm because im sure he wanted them to arrest an african american woman. racism is definitely real! please go anywhere but here! i was literally in fear for my life! thank god i left when i did. read more

I had the Technician Cee-Cee and she was Amazing . She did my fill-in and designed my nails. She was awesome through the entire process. Even when I had her wax my eyebrows. If I could give zero stars I would! they rush to do your nails so they do not turn out well. On top of that, they started doing someone else's nails instead of doing my pedicure! My finger was cut by staff , she continued to use supplies on me with an open cut . I didn't even notice I was bleeding until I looked up from my phone and I noticed she was touching all over my finger with blood on her and me . She kept going like nothing was wrong . I went to wash my hands and she put some first aid cream in it (pictured below) . I paid for my services and they did not honor a discount and wanted me to talk to her at the back of the store . That was dangerous so I declined . I paid and left and will never be back again . They are unsanitary, using same supplies on people even IF YOURE BLEEDING ! Updated review. I always recommended this salon, but the past three visits were not good, and I felt passed off. I had to tell my nail tech to stop because she shouldn't listen to what I wanted. Also, the nails lifted each time, and I had never had the issue before. I'm not sure why the quality of service had dropped. I switched over to diamond art nails across the way. So far so good. I went in for just a gel polish on my real nails no manicure just a polish. I brought my own gel nail polish which I know doesn't make a difference, but I love this particular color. The total was $30 and I was absolutely shocked. 30 dollars for 10 minutes. The pricing on the wall in the shop said 10 for gel polish on nails. Just be aware and ask for pricing up front. **It's not overpriced if you're a luxury nail salon, which you guys are not. If you want to charge the prices you are charging offer your clients a beverage or a glass of wine. invest in a better way to view your polish selection instead of a cardboard box of outdated nail swatches. The environment was nice and the people were nice although halfway through the appointment the lady stopped doing my nails to go do two people who just walked and asked for their eyebrows done. I had an appointment and it looked like they just walked in. Also the nails were $75 and I tipped $10 so I paid $85 for these nails. Only a few days later my nails began chipping on the chrome tip and I am unhappy with them. I may have to go to another salon to redo the chrome tips unless the salon could do them again. read more

I would never recommend this place after the experience I just had. They were busy so that might be a reason, but it took 2 and a half hours to get a mani pedi, which included my friend being cut, me and another girl wincing in pain repeatedly during manicures, and the paint on my toes and hands being uneven and including air bubbles and lines as well as parts of my nails being unpainted and polish all over my skin. Worse pedicure experience EVER. I didn't get the lady name but she was the older lady wet brown wavy looking hair with blue glasses. She was rude and said oh your my heels are dry immediately upon sitting down to service me. She shaped my toes in an awkward shape and the polish job looked like my 3 year old nephew did them. She even had the nerve to charge an extra $5 for callus removal but prepared a basic pedicure please see my heel still looked like they did when I sat in the chair upon arrival. She was very negative with my color selection. Then when I paid for my services I show the lady my cash app confirmation she said ok but once I'm leaving out starts screaming like she is able to chase me down saying "ma'am ma'am" I need see your cash app confirmation again. Had to get my nails done so last min and ran to the closest salon, just so happened to be Exquisite Nail Spa and I was not disappointed! Not only did they welcome me in minutes before closing, they did both a gel pedicure and gel manicure in less than an hour and honestly some of the best quality nails I have had in a while! Linn absolutely killed it with my nails, she is a natural! I am more than happy with my result and although this salon is 20 mins from where I actually live I am definitely making the trip back because of how well they did and how nicely I was treated. I will never go to this place again! I started going to this nail salon when it opened. Several management changes since 17 years ago. I am going to let everyone know how terrible their customer service is. At first, it was ok. Then once he finished my gel manicure he did not attempt to add oil. I sat there and he looks at me and said Go wash your hands, what else do you want? I looked at him and said I would like for you to oil my nails before I wash. He responded, "oh ok, I forgot!". Then it was time to pay. I had purchased a gift certificate at the end of December. When I purchased it. I specifically asked the question about the 6 months. The person told me that it will still be granted. So I purchased it. It is one month past the 6 months mark on the certificate. Immediately, I saw him draw up as soon as I pulled the gift certificate out of my purse. He proceeded to ask another man something. Immediately the man walks to the counter with a major attitude. He proceeds to loud talk me and tell me that the certificate had expired. I told him--one or two things, either grant this certificate or give me my money spent for no services. He shouts at me--you need to let me talk. With a calm voice I told him--I am allowing you to talk so I don't know why you are so hostile. What are you going to do? He looks at me and says that he will deduct 10.00. I'm not the one to argue so I said ok. I gave him my debit card to pay the rest. The one who ran the debit card took the card and threw on counter. I picked it up and asked him to give my debit card back to me just as I have to him. Afterwards, he asked if he gave me my debit card--knowing that he did not. I told him no you did not but it's ok--I have paid and no longer will be back. All I am saying is they do a good job on nails and toes, but they are rude! I choose NOT TO give my money to anyone who is rude to me. I only paid because it was right due to services, but they should really work on being rude to their customer. I would have been more receptive if he was a nicer when he explained. Instead it felt almost like he was treating me like someone that was causing sooo many issues in the past. Please try another salon. Please believe what everyone is saying about the attitudes. I've tried them a few times to see if the attitudes would get better, but seemingly it worsened. Please listen!!! Ok so I edited my review. Below was how I felt while there. I come home almost 2 hours after my toes are still a bit wet. The corners aren't painted and some of each nail is missing paint. From afar it looks fine but you look close and it's a mess. I would have painted it myself if I wanted a mess. First review. Chose this place for my Mother's Day pedicure. I have been trying to find my favorite spot and this is in my top 5. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Prices were competitive and my massage was good. I got the 35$ pedi and was worth it. They used a clear bag in the foot bath which I love. Everything seemed clean and they have lots of colors to choose from. I would absolutely go back. The one thing I wasn't loving was the fact that it was hot inside. I heard groans from the people waiting that were feeling the heat. It takes me a lot to love a nail place and even more to give them a five star review! This place had great customer service. They were fast, friendly, and took me immediately when I walked it. They are moderately priced. For a fill in w/ 2 broken nails and gel polish, I paid $45 (and an additional $5 for foil on my nails). I paid $10 to get my toes painted. I went with my brother and husband to get pedicures, we chose the $35 option, which is not the cheapest nor the most expensive one. The pedicure wasn't bad but it wasn't worth $35, they basically just washed my feet and painted my toe nails. When we went to pay they wanted to charge us $40 for both my brother and husband and $35 for myself. When we told them that we were told $35, one of the females started getting attitude with us and telling us we had to pay the $40. Apparently they charge more for male pedicures, which is fine but they should announce that in the beginning and have the correct prices on the list they give you when you sit down. We ended up paying $35 each but we will not be coming back. From another review I read here, it is not the first time they give a price and then want to charge more. read more

I gave this place a second try after a terrible experience several years ago, hoping that their customer service had improved. I am sad to say that it has not improved a bit. Other reviews of this location mention feeling rushed by the employees, and my feeling is no different. The young woman doing my nails barely spoke to me, all four employees in the store constantly having conversations with each other and not engaging with their customers either. I did not notice any tools being sterilized which really makes me worry about the quality of my service, but since I was just having old gel polish removed and new plain polish put on I didn't worry about it too much. I just wanted the service completed. I was not allowed to wash my hands at any point during the service. And even before she put polish on my nails she wanted me to go ahead and pay her. It was clear afterwards that they were talking about me when I refused to pay before the service was completed. I was sat down at the drying table without the drying light or fan on and ignored. Let me tell you, the temptation to get up and leave without paying was quite serious. I am a better person than that. However she did not get a tip because the service was no better than what I could do at home. I will not give this place a third try. The only reason it got two stars instead of one is because as it stands now the polish job is adequate. I would not recommend this place to anyone wanting any quality of service. If you just want a quick paint job then this is probably an adequate place for you. read more

I tried to work this out with the owner Lee before leaving this review EVERYWHERE but he just wanted to be rude and try to talk over me and then told me to do what ever I wanted so here you go! I drove 3 hours from North Carolina to get my nails done yesterday. Had an appointment at 7:00, arrived at 6:40, wasn't attended to until 8:30. Walkins that came in after me got serviced before me, no appointment. I got the #2 pedicure $35.00. I know this because 1) it's on the menu 2) I asked before the tech started & 3) I got nothing extra (regular polish! NO AS ONS!). And it wasn't a good pedicure. My heels are still ruff and cracked. My feet and legs we're never massaged. There was no lotion put on my feet or legs. And at no point did the tech clean out from underneath my toe nails nor trim my cuticle. I don't know about in South Carolina but her in NC all that comes WITH the basic pedicures! I also got my nails done SNS with tips (no fancy shape, just square - like the last 25 years). Before the tech started I had him quote me the price of $45.00. No fancy dips, just plain old pink nails. I also decided to get my eyelashes done. I also got a quote from that tech $60.00. Ok, that's fine. It's my first time. I'll try them out see if I like them. And I do I actually love them. Now it's time to pay and this tech that DID NOT do any work on me said it's $180.00. Excuse me...what? $180.00. So, apparently (in South Carolina at Esquisite Nail Salon) $35+$45+$60= $180.00 & not $140.00 (like it does EVERYWHERE else!!!). And I just discovered via YELP and him leaving comments on his own employers profile the he is on fact the very person who over charged me by $40.00. Thanks, ANDY! If you do go here hold on to your purses and have them write down their quote they give you. Don't take them at their word! 4 separate people lied to me! And the owner said the price list was a guide the techs could charge WHATEVER THEY WANTED even AFTER giving you a quote. I went here in a pinch because my go-to has been booked...stimulus, tax refunds, etc. Anyways, I asked for and pointed to the $29 pedicure with regular polish, a gel fingernail change, and an eyebrow wax....$71? Ha! They totally took advantage of me. My nails look like $hit after 3 days. Peeling where the gel wasn't applied all the way to the end of my nail. I'm also curious why the tools she used weren't out of a clean, sanitized wrapper, but just pulled straight out of her bin? Gross. Will NEVER walk back into this place. First time coming to this salon. I saw that they did eyelash extensions and all the pictures and reviews seemed safe to go for it. I asked for something natural and nothing to long and huge. I got the total opposite. On top of that they look wonky and uneven. They charged $50 for these so called eyelash extensions. Not even with in 24hr, 4 of these "extensions" fell off. So i called to see if i could get a refund. THEY DON'T DO THOSE!!! So finally they offer to fix them for free. So I had to drive another 30 minutes to this place. Do not use this place . I repeat do not use this place there a a nail tech here with black guys he is a guy extremely RUDE. He got upset because I refused to use the ATM machine oppose to swiping my card and refused to do my nails. I wasted two hours in this place and had to call the police because I was not going to pay to have someone completely waste my time . They insisted that I pay for my toes but refused to do my nails to match with my toes. I usually worked with who I thought was the owner of the salon Vivian but was told by the guy that she is not the owner. So needless to say I will never go back here and I would recommend no one else go here. They look at you as simply just a dollar sign. Customer service is not their main priority. I am also going to file a Better Business complaint because what is up with them pushing you to pay in cash? You don't go to Walmart and they say please do not use your credit card ! I went there because it was open on a Sunday. First I waited almost an hour before I was given my pedicure. I asked for the polish to be left alone, the tech removed it. He kept arguing with me that this was gel polish on my toe. it was regular. Then I said I wanted the regular pedicure multiple times, he finally said they don't have it. I asked not to cut my toe nails, and he started cutting them! He did not listen. I asked which service offered the wrap. He said the number 3. That means everyone in there got the number 3? I used to get my nails done at Exquisite when I moved to Rock Hill. The clutter of the place was uncomfortable so I started driving to a nicer place in the town over. I recently went back in hopes of a better price, but was sorely disappointed. I was switched between technicians halfway through the job. Due to the noise level in the shop (the employees banter loudly back and forth with each other) I could not hear/understand what nail services I was agreeing to. My SNS nails ended up lumpy and I had to ask for them to be corrected twice before getting up. Even with that they were still stuck to my skin and not smooth on top. My $35 nail service turned into a $57 mess. Manicures are a special treat for me and I am very disappointed I spent so much money on such a bad job. Received a deluxe pedicure for the most part is was fine. I normally have issue when I leave polish on for too long it stains my noe nails. The nail tech refused to scrape it off which you only need a nail file and it simply removes. She advised my nail was too thin and would bleed. I do this all the time a buff would have done the job. So i disliked that she left my natural nail discolored while adding another polish on top. Saying my nail would bleed was an excuse as many times ive gotton my feet done and do them myself i have never had that issue. You being a professional Its nothing but a stain thats easy to remove with a few strokes across the top. You are in the field of nails you should know this. That is what didnt make my experience as good as it could. Also now this salon offers cashapp which is fine for people that dont have other methods of payment. I attempted to pay with debit card and they insisted I pay cash app. Didn't quite like that. Not sure if I'll return here. I stopped going here and decided to give them another try. read more
