I had the pleasure of meeting Jenny , Tony & Tiffany . Originally went into see Tony because he was highly recommended but he was fully booked, so Tiffany did my nails . She did a really great job. I must say that this place really made me feel at home they were all very warm and kind. The music is very relaxing , they offer complementary Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, water, white Zinfandel and Chardonnay. Only two glasses limit per person and there's no exception and they do ID anybody under 21. If your bill per person is $50 or more they have a special menu, which includes margarita, or from the Culotta, and a strawberry sherbet, which is nonalcoholic I highly recommend trying them out . Requested a basic manipedi and was asked multiple times if I wanted gel after I repeatedly declined the more expensive service that I simply just did not want or need. Came in to treat myself to a pedicure for Father's Day. She pushed the $90 pedicure on my and when I went with the $40 choice you could tell she was not pleased. Visiting a friend who wanted to get a manicure so I joined her. I seem to always have bad/mediocre experiences and therefore don't get them often. Mediocre at best. Just went for a basic mani with clear coat. They called for some dude in the back - I suppose men can be aestheticians but in untucked grubby tshirt and jeans? I had to explain twice I didn't want my cuticles cut only pressed back. No cuticle oil or lotion on my hands, yes lotion and a massage of my arms only not hands. Didn't ask what shape I wanted my nails and he started shaping them flat on the ends before I could speak up (I'd prefer rounded) and they are somewhat uneven. My cuticles are dry. He did a base coat and 2 clear coats, dried with a small fan, but 2 of my nails are already flaking after only a day. I usually do my own nails and they look better than this. No prices posted in the shop nor online. This was $20 and I did tip $5, for what that's worth. The pros - he did wash his hands, the towel under my hands was clean/fresh, the whole place was clean, lots of color options if you want them. Used Opi polish. The lotion used had a pleasant smell. Nickel and Dime... On Saturday I wanted to pamper myself and get my little piggies and fingers decorated and wandered into Expression Nails hoping they wouldn't be packed. For a 1000 arrival, I was surprised to see the place was already packed and to my surprise I saw some men getting their piggies done. As this was my first time in the salon, I walked up to the stand and decided on an Ombre acrylic nail set as one of the ladies at the front was sporting a nice set and a pedicure. The Salon* The salon is located conveniently within the Forum shopping center and is within walking distance to Target. The decor was beautiful and zen-like and had a decent amount of room so that they could cater to several guest. The salon offered it's guests some refreshing drinks and the spa-like experience to include the massage chairs. The Selection* The nail technician (male) offered me a seat and I popped my piggies into some steaming water. He offered me a pedicure menu and mumbled something about a special. I said "What did you say"? and he completed the same canned response with no real care if I heard him or not. I browsed the card and saw the ridiculous prices and the made up additions to grab more money... rose petals, volcanic yada yada, vitamin E drops yada yada, jello mold yada yada, massage 15-30 minutes, and such and when I questioned him for clarification, it was vague or he would tell me that what I was looking at was for the youth and the price was more than I thought. He hurt me a few times during the cuticle clipping and I had to remind him several times to be careful. It seems that once I passed on the $80 pedicure, his job was to get me out of the chair quickly. When he was done he said that the gel polish would be an additional $20 and I decided to pass. He then had the gall to say it would be an additional $3 to paint my nails with regular polish after I had just paid $30 for a pedicure. The last time I checked, a nail polish was included with a pedicure and since the menu didn't state that it was an additional charge for painting, he was A. lying to me B. trying to Nickel and Dime the Customer. C. refer back to A lying to me. Since I didn't have flip flops, I passed on the nail color after looking at the Yelp photos and the unsatisfied customer's feedback and decided the feet I could do at home. The nails~ 4 stars here June was fabulous and I love the look, but after being charged $5 to soak of my old nails, $5 to have the Coffin lid shape, $5 to have the Ombre color... for a Drum roll grand total of $67 for the hands I see why I just bite my nails. I'll try this new look for a little while, but for what I paid in total $97. I can feed three children through Compassion for Christ, a nonprofit that feeds the needy abroad. This is my favorite nail salon to go for a pedicure. I've been coming here since 2020 and i've never had a bad experience. The salon is beautiful and always very well maintained. There's never a wait because of how big it is. I've had multiple people do my toes and they've always been great. Prices are very reasonable for what they offer. I'm writing this as my nails are drying. To summarize my visit, I absolutely did not have a good time. I walked in. Within the first 10 minutes, they had me switch seats three times. I'm not sure if this is normal or what was going on, but it was annoying. I asked for a dip removal and a regular polish mani. My first seat was with a man who quickly tried to remove the dip powder. He hadn't finished before they shuffled me off to another seat to a lady that didn't quite seem to know what she was doing. She had me soak my hands in acetone about three different times before she got all of the dip off. Then she put the cuticle oil on my cuticles and then rubbed lotion on my hands for about a minute. So I guess the lotion/cuticle oil mixture is what they consider a mani here. Then she had me wash my hands, which proved the lotion and oil redundant. Then she half-assed cut my cuticles and shaped them very roughly; put the base, color, and top on and had me sit at the UV dry station. I'm pretty sure the UV is to set shellac or artificial nails..... Not regular polish. But who knows. It's not my everyday job to know that. Overall, 0/10 recommend. I would never come back. I will never look in their direction. I will likely strip off the polish in a few days, if it doesn't come off on its own before. I am now walking out of the salon, and have already noticed a bunch of tiny bubbles forming. Great work. read more

I asked for Nezuko nails from the anime demon slayer, it's a claw shape nail with nude pink and a red tip. However I did not receive. I got a nude color pink with holographic iridescent glitter. I showed the nail tech 3 pictures. One pic of Nezukos nails from the anime, second one of the shape I wanted, and third of how I wanted the design to be. He said the claw shape was $70 but would give me a discount for $65. All was going well until he pulled out the glitter. I asked if he was going to put that on my nail and he said yes. I told him I didn't ask for glitter. So he mistaken wanted for the picture of the shape. I specifically said what I wanted but continued to use the glitter and telling me he's giving me that discount. I was like I guess since he's giving me a discount I'll just see. When it was done, it didn't even look like the picture to begin with. I was over it and didn't care anymore so I said it was fine. But when I went to pay the glitter came off on my left hand. So I had to tell him again to fix it. However, when he went to fix it he put more glitter on my hand than then the other. So one hand looks gray glitter and the other looks like nude pink with just a bit of glitter. Luckily nobody will be staring at my nails and won't NOTICE. I would also like to bring up the fact that he kept drilling into my skin. The sides of my nails are messed up because he drilled it too much. I also have a small cut on my pinky from the drill, he was not careful or gentle at all. I let my daughter go in by herself for a 2 week fill, they had her pay first before they painted & charged her $25 for Solar Fill & another $5 for shape. My daughter said she didn't want Solar but lady said that was all they had. When I picked her up, I noticed the edges weren't painted & some fingers were darker than others also the lady had a mask but was coughing a lot. We did ask them to correct it. When I first arrived, they made me sit in a pedicure seat with no water for about 10 minutes before filling my tub with cold water. I think the employee got mad that I just wanted a basic pedicure and manicure and not the expensive services she was suggesting. No one offered me a beverage like advertised, and they didn't let me soak my feet or fingers in the cold water for very long before beginning to cut cuticles/scrape dead skin. I know my cuticles and skin are dry and I'm a nail biter, but I expected more care and work to go into my $18 manicure and $30 pedicure than this. Spent nearly three hours there - they kept rushing me to pick a color then rushed to seat me and have me sit in the pedi station with the water running- The basin almost spilled over. I sat there until the hot water was less than luke warm. I sat at the nail station for another 20 mins before a nail tech assisted me - there was a mix up regarding the service I had requested. I wasn't offered a drink until the last 30 mins of my visit- when nail tech had already glued new tips on my fingers. The pedi was average. The new set is average but a pretty. I may give it another shot here. I'm not too sure though. Edited. I came back on 5/2 and am completely pleased. My fill looks like a new set (pink set) Ask or anai (sp?) They have a tendency to have bad time management here and you will sometimes be left at a station with half done nails while they find someone else to finish your nails. By far the laziest pedicure in all of the area. I paid $40 for a "Deluxe Pedicure" and an additional $20 for shellac. $60 total for my pedicure to look like so. My cuticles were not dealt with. My nails were not cleaned. She barely even filed my nails which are uneven after she cut them. When expressed my dissatisfaction to her, she said "easy" and filed my nails a little and walked away lol. When I expressed my disappointment to the receptionist, showed her the picture, she looked around and said "sorrrrrry " yes, she made that face lol. Normally, I'm the confrontational type to make a fuss but they caught me on a Monday and I had no more time to give them. Oh and on top of it, they didn't give me my "Labor Day sale" discount. All around, this place does the absolute minimum for maximum amount of dollars. Don't waste your money here. I came based off the reviews and they must've paid them or something. Because it's all a lie based on my experience. My nails are nice too, however he tells me I need to change the shape look better he said and then proceeds to do 2 designs and mind you I didn't ask for either. They have a habit of doing the work and not even asking. Then I get my bill and they charged me $5.00 to shape and $8.00 for design. If I want something different I will ask. hands down the worst and most expensive freaking experience I have ever had. I am so heated writing this review. I just moved here and thought great a nail salon right by target! WRONG. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!! There was so many red flags and it's partially my fault for not getting up and leaving after the first one. I wanted a simple design! no base color, no acrylics, no dip powder; just a few squiggly lines with gel polish. I showed a reference photo and asked if she thought she'd be able to do it since I didn't want to add any length, she said yes! The lady who did my nails then proceeded to start applying a dip powder and I was already alarmed but she insisted it was needed. I said fine. She then started to file away and said we had to do a round shape since my nails were short. The powder application was horrendous and the design looks like shit but since she was moving so fast I didn't get a good look at the damage until she was done. I was literally about to cry when checking out and then they told me the price: $75. I looked at them and said $75??!!! It doesn't even look like the picture and she said the dip and design is extra charge and it looked fine. the place was actually very busy and I was beyond embarrassed so I paid like a damn fool and drove down the street to My Nail Bar where Kevin took this crap off and gave me a full set since she butchered my natural nails. she also burned me doing my eyebrows and took off the top of my left brow leaving me with mix matched brows and a permanent raised brow look for the next two weeks while the hair grows back. she also got a glob of clear polish under my ring finger and ripped the cured polish off taking my first layer of skin with it.
