I booked the sunset cruise with open bar and fruit cheese tray. I enjoyed the rum punch with white wine 3 times and some strawberries and gouda cheese. It was a gorgeous ride and we loved the vibes. The crew was fantastic and the views are spectacular. I had never seen the inlet from that viewpoint and it took you all the way out to the edge of the ocean inlet. I would definitely rebook another activity with this company. They offer other types of expeditions with a HUGE pink flamingo to seat 6-8 people that looked so cute! I would be afraid to banana boat in the ocean but the inlet looked very calm and less risky of wildlife. May do that next year. I had to cancel 1 hour before my booking due to my car getting towed which is outside their refund policy but they offered a raincheck which was kind, I ended up getting a ride to enjoy it anyway and they got me on the boat, thank you! The experience was amazing, my nieces came for a visit and wanted to go parasailing. I booked the 4 of us easily, when we arrived the young lady at the desk was very pleasant. The crew on the transferred boat was great , the guys on the boat you fly from were awesome. The flight was great , amazing views we even spotted some fish during our flight. The only bad part was my niece had her Nike slides taken from the dock, we informed the desk and they said they would check the cameras and call my niece back. The next day my niece had to call them repeatedly trying to get answers, she got none just what seemed like a run around. The next day she called as she was flying home and hoping to have her shoes.This time at least the person she spoke to was apologetic, still she's out a $50 pair of shoes . You would think if they have you leave your property on their dock before you get on their boat they would make sure your property is safe. read more

Where to even begin? This company and the wonderful men and women that work here have us the best Fourth of July EVER. Thank you Ava, Austin, JT, Rocco and Logan for being the highlight of our I dependence Day. We decided last minute to go para sailing and are so happy we did. I did not have a good experience with jet skis this past Monday. The tour guide was rude and lacked understanding for someone who had experienced it for the first time. I am completely traumatized by the experience and just hope that this is not the experience of every first timer. I recommend having a tour just for beginners to remove assumptions about their related knowledge. read more

While the boat ride was fun and we did get to see a few dolphins in the inlet We didn't really get to see them jumping around or moving about and once we went into the ocean there was nothing except for a balloon which is important to save really takes away from the ambience and expectation of the cruise then I all understand can't be forced. We can't force dolphins to show up next to the boat so I do completely understand We also had an exceptional captain and boatsman and Leanne. Where I lost stars It seemed slightly disjointed in how and why we were on the experience with large signs saying that the crew works for tips and bottles of water at $2 a piece (we had five ppl) didn't seem like an experience so much as a reason to spend more when the tickets were already fairly expensive. read more

So wonderful! Check-in process was easy. Just showed ID and the card I used to book, got wristbands and ready to go. The crew onboard were great, including Kayley, the marine biologist. She really knew her stuff, answered lots of questions and could see the dolphins before we could so we were all looking in the right direction. We saw dozens of dolphins so we were very lucky. Great experience for a 1/2 day rental of a pontoon - but the full day was too long for just cruising around the inlet. I thought we would have more run of the ICW. Possibly location? We also didn't like that you had to dock at their dock for lunch - limited choices if you have someone with mobility issues. Also - make sure you get a pontoon boat with a full ladder if you plan on getting into the water. Ours had only one step and made it extremely difficult to get back in boat. So our girls weekend included parasailing, dolphin watching and a sunset cruise! My friends enjoyed the parasailing (I'm not that adventurous, lol). We had pre-booked the dolphin watch and Sunset Cruise (which included unlimited rum punch, wine and beer with an array of cheese, fruit and crackers)! Unfortunately due to traffic and being rerouted due to it we missed the dolphin cruise but we were given a rain check that is good forever, so no worries on our end! We went to an early dinner and was ahead of time for the cruise. We had a super nice and attentive bartender Britney and captain blasted some tunes! We had 2 that went parasailing - the crew and experience was awesome! So much fun. We had 8 that then went on a dolphin cruise. No dolphins but the crew was informative and it was a pretty day. The counter people. We spent over $400 on experiences. Went to buy 3 bottles of water and she told me I could only charge $10 or more. I asked her to add it to the dolphin cruise. She couldn't do that, two different systems. So we had to buy more water since I had bare minimum on me just coming from parasailing. It's not the $4 it's the lack of courtesy for someone already having spent $400 that day! That is the only reason I gave it 4 stars. read more

My friend and I vacationed in Myrtle Beach the last week of April 2022. I signed us up for parasailing on the Tuesday of our week here. We got a call early in the morning that the winds were too strong, and could we switch to Wednesday. Of course, safety first! Sadly, Wednesday the winds were still bad. We had plans for Thursday - they had no issue switching us to Friday. That day, the winds were great. We got to the shop well ahead of time and checked in. The staff there is great - very good at making us feel comfortable, answering our questions, and explaining everything. I was impressed with the skill of the guys making sure all the parachute lines were in order. If you've ever undone tangled yarn, you'd get it. There were no tangles, but I'll bet these guys would have had it done in no time. Anyway, we flew and had a great time!! It's totally peaceful in the air. They make it all very easy. NOTE: We took the Sunset Cruise on the 46 Newton. I would do Express Watersports' Sunset Cruise again in a heartbeat. It was relaxing, felt like the staff made the effort to make it feel semi-romantic/relaxing, and the entire experience was just great. PROS: -The staff have clearly done this tons of times. They have a system, and it makes everything run so smoothly. Nothing feels hurried or stressed - but I definitely do recommend showing up at that half-an-hour-early time they recommend. It's a small walk towards the pier, you'll likely want to use the restroom, and they board ten minutes early from start time. It'll give you about 5 to 10 minutes of waiting time - which isn't much. -It's mostly a "choose your own spot" - sitting or standing. They have benches around, and if you want the best spots, be closest to the front of the line. Though aside from the upper deck, there aren't really many "best spots". The boat turns directions often enough that you'll likely have no problem with a good spot that'll see the sun most of the time. -While the boat never quite makes it far enough out into the ocean to have an "ocean and sun" view of the sunset, you will get to enjoy the sunset as it falls behind the trees of Myrtle Beach. It looks fantastic and peaceful, and it'll be a lovely thing to enjoy. -The beach goes a very comfortable speed. It's large enough that other boat's wake doesn't rock it (much), and you can easily walk around the boat without any particular fear of falling. Of course, if you're concerned, you can stay seated the entire cruise and note your concerns to the bartender - he was happy to bring people food right to their seats when he knew ahead of time. -On that note, the "bartender" was fantastic. He was extremely friendly, refilled drinks efficiently, and for those who were inclined, was happy to chat with them and share stories about Myrtle Beach and boating. Very charismatic guy and very good at getting lots of drinks poured in a short amount of time. There was never much of a wait for a drink. -On that note, drinks and treats offered were good. They have two stable, built-in "carts" for the boat, and they cover them in a white cloth and use them for serving the snacks. There's a cart dedicated to our "bartender" with bottles of white wine (I didn't get the brand) and coconut rum and punch. The other cart has a store-bought (but freshly so, as it was the last thing loaded onto the boat) tray of meats, fruits, and cheeses along with crackers, and tongs and plates to serve yourself. (Though, as noted, the "bartender" served a few people personally). -All-in-all, the experience was extremely lovely. The hour flew by so quickly, and it felt like a really calm and chill way to spend the last daylight moments on Myrtle Beach. They don't play music, and it's almost entirely the sound of the water and the chatter of people talking. Aside from a few announcements, the captain is entirely quiet too. It was very comfortable. -Boat was extremely clean. It still obviously looked like a boat that regularly went out into the ocean, so it wasn't spotless, but I had no qualms about touching anything or sitting anywhere. It was definitely cleaned recently. -Not a single child or teenager on board. I know the company didn't make that decision, but their choice for children's pricing being on-par with adult pricing makes it pretty cost-prohibitive for full families. For people who really wanted some quiet without worrying about accidentally bumping a child or something, this was amazing. But I know families like to enjoy sunset cruises too. The Pirate's company in town actually does sunset cruises as well with more family-friendly pricing. CONS: -The Rum Punch pours are, as you might have guessed, definitely a bit light on the "rum". They still taste delicious, and they're happy to refill the cup as often as you'd like, but if you're going for actual alcohol, the white wine might be a better bet. -Express Watersports also does that aggravating thing where they'll take your picture before the cruise then print it, frame it, and try to sell it to you for an added $20 afterwards. They're not pushy about it at all, and for some, this might be an amazing souvenir. But for a company that offers reusable wine glasses for purchase to help reduce the amount of plastic in the ocean, having a bunch of unwanted printed photos that have to be tossed after each cruise seems a bit wasteful too. read more

It's between 3 and 4 stars. They had a lot of fun but it took a while for them to get used to eating seawater (that part is pretty much unavoidable). I give it 3 stars because I consider the photo package a slight rip-off. Yeah, it was only $20, but still. The advertising was NOT fraudulent as it was written: They said I would get 8 - 12 photos, and I actually got 20. But there's a timeshare presentation-ish element there: those 20 pictures consisted of a) one good photo pre-water (listed 4 times), b) a good photo pre-water of the other family on the boat with my family in the background (listed 4 times), c) three pictures of the other family from the side, with some of my people in the background, listed 6 times total, and d) four pictures of them driving off, no faces visible, listed in total 6 times. So, that was 20 pictures, 9 of them unique images, exactly one of them worthwhile. I paid $20 for ONE decent pre-event picture. Again, as it was written, that's what we agreed to. Would not recommend this place to anyone that has been jet skiing before. The jet skis are nice and new but they are not very fast. The area you are allowed to ride in the ocean is super super small. Very narrow and only one mile in distance. The rangers were nice and provided good instructions but the girls at the front desk are poorly trained and a bit incompetent. Too busy chatting with the other staff to get us our things back after the ride. This place has potential but I would never go back due to the lack of space for riders and slow jet skis. Not excited about dolphin watch. I am very short and don't walk fast hence was last on the boat and got stuck forward inside boat, could not see anything at all and when said something to Steely (the first mate) was told to "stand up". There were seats if people were ask to slide together. Was very choppy that day so very hard to keep your balance standing up for an hour and a half. Also felt like I was on a voyage to promote the first mates new sailing charter endeavor next spring, while she was on the phone half the time. We did see dolphins so that was the good thing. I might ask the Captain to turn the boat around next time so the other side of the boat could see them better, which is where I was. Would not go with this company again. read more
