Went here to have some patches sewn on my leather vest. This was one of the only places in the area…read morethat I found that could do the work. It was about two weeks to have them sewn on and while they did ask me if it was ok to sew through the liner, they did sew through the liner and pockets rendering the inner left pocket unusable. I don't really use the pockets except maybe to put my phone in, but I would have thought that they wouldn't have done that. All in all I had 4 patches sewn on for $80. As you can see, one got sewn right through the inside pocket. I would have like to have been asked about that, but hindsight being 20/20, I guess if I need any more sewn, I'll let them know. This business seems to do a lot of alterations for wedding dresses, so I'm guessing not a lot of bikers are hitting them up to sew their cuts. Just be aware if that's something you need.

Today they lost my business forever because one of the seamstresses tried to rip me off and lied in the process. I brought two suit jackets, two pairs of slacks and two skirts in for alterations. I have had these exact alterations done on many suits for the last three years and am quite familiar with their pricing. When the seamstress was writing up my ticket she gave me a price for the skirts that I knew was more than what I had paid for the exact same work on an identical skirt a month ago. I asked her to have the owner call me to discuss pricing. A few hours later I received a call from the other seamstress claiming she is the owner - definitely not, because I have worked directly with the owner on multiple occasions - who quoted me prices even higher than what the original seamstress had earlier in the day, and literally three times higher than I had paid for the exact same work a month earlier. I have the itemized receipt sitting right in front of me! Pricing shenanigans aside, the place is a disaster. It is dirty, the floor looks like it hasn't been swept in eons, there is sewing detrius all over the place and no air conditioning. In order to get into the tiny little changing booth customers have to enter a very unsafe area riddled with pins and open scissors laying on the floor and climb over piles of clothing. While it was never a top-of-the-line shop, I have never seen it as dangerously messy as it was today. I'm taking my business elsewhere immediately - I don't appreciate being lied to and ripped off. PS - ACT 2 I just went down there to pick up the clothes so I can bring them to another tailor. The seamstress physically assaulted me, scratching my hands, while trying to grab my clothes back. I am shaking and disgusted right now, and contemplating filing a police report.
