Today, I purchased a bag of dog treats that was priced at $14.99. Unfortunately, I wasn't wearing my glasses and mistakenly thought I had picked up the bag that was $4.99. By the time I realized the mistake, I had already opened the package and given my dog a treat. When I called the store, I was told they couldn't accept a return because it was an opened pet food item. I completely understand that policy. However, what concerned me even more was that the tag claimed the treats were "Compared at $20.00." After looking online, I found the exact same treats selling for under $6 at multiple retailers. Seeing a comparison price of $20 feels very misleading when that doesn't appear to reflect the actual market price. I'm sharing my experience so other shoppers will take a moment to double-check prices--especially on pet products--and compare them online before purchasing. T.J. Maxx is still one of my favorite stores, but this experience left me feeling disappointed and like I didn't receive the value I expected. I hope T.J. Maxx reviews how comparison prices are displayed so customers can shop with confidence and know they're truly getting a great deal.

Some days are better than others, one day the store looks very clean and organized, and others it's just a mess on the floors. But I guess it is not the store's fault but the clientele. I always try to pick up the toys from off of the floor just so that I can pass, but other people don't care, they let their kids go crazy.
