DLC responded quickly with an estimate, and after asking friends about it I was told it was a good deal. So I responded that I would like to use their service and an email was sent with a link to pay, which made it a breeze, and set up a weekly appointment during this rainy month of May. They came the same day I paid, and did a terrific job considering what I'd tried to do (it was bad) and the lawn looks great. I will put up pictures when the lawn looks a little better, because I'd tried to use an electric mower that wouldn't adjust properly so some spots are awful. Anyway, great job, guys! Well again a no-show and no communications I finally sent them a text to tell them what a joke of a company and that they have no customer service skills on Monday night. Now they urgently sent a reply saying they apologize for the inconvenience and thats not how they run their company. Buyer beware, no shows..a big red flag, poor communications and just a lack of urgency when this is what they do for a living. As far as I'm concerned I dodged a bullet and you should too! P.S. After the work was done, I was expecting the invoice to be another $450. Color me shocked when it was $1500!! I guess in the quote, labor was 3 hours * 4 people * $75/hour * 0. They don't want to "promise" labor would be a certain amount so they just set that to 0. The original quote was missing $900. When I called to complain, I got a very "generous" $70 off. We called and within just a couple of weeks they came and removed the old cement edge and replaced it with a much deeper cement edge. They replaced the soil and mulch perfectly. They'll be back to seed the narrow area of sod that was removed along the walk. Clean up was immaculate. All at no additional cost. Their priority was to "make it right" I highly recommend them.
