Never coming to this location again. The last thing I want to do after a long day of being on my feet is stand in another long line at this crappy bank. The teller didn't even greet me or give eye contact. And every window had hands prints all over it. Gross. The customers that bank here are morons too. I walk in the direction he pointed out and halfway around the building there was a group of people waiting outside. After a few minutes a blonde lady came out and asked if anyone had any cashier checks. One guy raised his hand and she motioned him inside. A minute late he came back out, check still in hand. Apparently he had misunderstood the lady and thought she said cashing check. ( I don't think English was his first language) when the lady came out again, I asked her where I could get laundry quarters and she gestured vaguely at the drive thru. So I walked into the drive thru (I don't own a car) and the guy there (same one I talked to in the beginning) refused to give me quarters because the drive through is cars only. After about 10 minutes of arguing with them I got tired of all this kafkaesque bullshit and left. Went to a convenience store a few blocks from the bank and got 5 dollars in change in seconds. Shoutout to Amir at casablanca foods. If you want to stand in line for multiple hours and get treated like shit for just trying to get the basic necessities of life accomplished, this is the place for you. If you want to get stuff done, go literally anywhere else.

I have bought & refinanced 2 houses and had a paid off HELOC So was familiar with the processes. Eric seemed welcoming and stated after we gave him the above info, that he was confident we would be approved without any issues if all checked out. THEN THE NIGHTMARE BEGAN..... A check in call gave us a verbal approval on an amount to be determined. At no time did we receive a legally required "statement of loan amount, expected expenses, and other financial details". I brought this to Eric's attention after dragging out for several months of positive statuses from Eric. Shortly after that, we received a short blunt letter that we were not approved. Reasons given were low credit scores (mine was over 800 and my spouse's was high 700), too many late payments (not true) and a couple more unsubstantiated reasons. We were stunned especially after rechecking the major credit bureaus to find, nothing close to their reasons except Trustone's frequent hard credit checks that caused credit scores to lose almost 100 points each. Funny that this sudden disapproval happened only AFTER we sent a letter asking about the law required "statement of pre ESTIMATED loan & expenses". Oh, and one more thing, while we were opening an account, the person/teller didn't know what the process was. She kept asking us questions about info they already had AND she didn't seem to know their own process for opening an account. Mostly negative reviews on this business seems to show similar experiences. Their rating on Yelp is only 2 1/2 stars. we should have seen this before this Trustone nightmare -- well lessons learned!

An account was opened July 3rd, the federal holiday was on the fourth. By the fifth, they had closed a joint account. I do not know why, nor have they given any reason to me why they would do so. After going through so many hurdles to do something simple, I know that there are a number of resources banks use to evaluate credit risk and you are all privy to them. I've had several fraudulent charges in the year and a half since opening the account. I've tried to flag them online but it doesn't work. Every time I call I'm on hold for 15-25 minutes before someone picks up. If I select the option to get a call back later it takes hours if I hear back at all. There isn't even an option to quickly cancel my debit card without talking to a teller, which I feel is fairly standard security. Will be switching banks. Love the ethics but I can't be at a nonfunctional bank.
