The most lazy, rude, unhelpful banker Ive ever met. She makes wells fargo look 2.5 star and im being nice. I had to ask her to do her job twice concerning the fraud on my account. This is after i just went through this with wells fargo too and have been through a lot and still am dealing with it. I guess asking for a confirmation case # on my dispute, is too much to ask for, as well as printing out a statement So I can look for more potential fraud, no she still wouldn't, instead she asked the very polite and kind co-worker (who I should have walked up to first) to do it for her. I'll even bet the other kind bankerv was in disbelief of the way shecwas treating me. I won't be with this bank much longer if it is just a repeat of wells Fargo which oddly enough i have a letter either missing from the mailbox or delayed coming from wells fargo 4 yrs later. should be interesting if i actually get it or just more wild goose chases to buy time so they can buy time and squirm their way iut of it, while my life has already been ruined and damage done. Our 2017 taxes aren't done yet, so the bank asks for our 2016 forms and 2017 W2's and the like. Fair enough. They get them. Then they ask for 2015 forms. What? You couldn't have asked for them all? THEN they start asking about some investments that we haven't had for a year. Didn't you think of asking us to have our investment guy give you a call? And THEN it turns out that they have to thumbs up/thumbs down within 30 days (federal requirement). Did they let anyone know? Hell no. And did our contact at #oldnational know or let US know? Hell no AGAIN. I understand due-diligence. But when you drop the ball so many times, it makes you wonder if you should pull ALL your banking out of the place. Anchor, which was bought out by Old National earlier this year, was a decent LOCAL bank. Old National doesn't really seem to have the customer at the core of their business model. But Affinity still services the mortgage, so I get to deal with their cheerful staff when I need something. I'm self-employed, and they worked with me to make the refi go as smoothly as it could. They also have an awesome car buying agreement with a number of local dealers. Walk in to the dealership, tell them you're an Affinity Plus customer, and they will give you a great price without haggling. I went in with a specific number in mind for the car I and features I wanted, and the credit union price was actually less than I'd been shooting for! I don't live near one of their offices but they have a good network of free ATMs and there's always the mailbox and online service. They are NON PROFIT so their aim is to get the best deal for their customers, not their shareholders and executives, and it feels like it when you walk in.

I was stuck on Lothenbach ave, trying to turn left into the parking lot, but with cars backed up by the DT tellers there was no place to go. As a result the cars behind me ended up blocking Robert Street. This is a horribly dangerous situation. Something needs to be changed. This seems like a daily occurrence as well. THE DETAILS: As a retired person with limited income, I was concerned about the reliability of my older car. I wanted to upgrade to something newer with less miles. Apprehensive, but hopeful, I met with RCU associate Matthew Ayoub. He asked several questions like what kind of vehicle I was looking for, and what size payment I could manage. Matthew was thorough and efficient, and in a short time I walked out of RCU with a commitment letter to spend up to $15,000 on a newer car. The interest rate was very fair, and the payments would be right in the range that I could afford. On the way out, Matthew also gave me some advice about looking for a vehicle that turned out to be very valuable. About a week later I had settled on the car that I wanted. I was hoping to put the deal together as soon as possible. As it turned out, Matthew was off on the day I wanted to finish the loan process. NOT a problem! David Giadyu came to the rescue and finished the process. In a short time, he had all the loan docs ready, and a few signatures later, I walked out the door with a check. Hallelujah! The project also included moving and expanding my dental office into the new space. That, too, involved the finance of lots of new dental and office equipment. I couldn't have asked for a better banking partner in a project that had so many moving parts. Being a smaller, locally owned bank, Gateway was nimble, creative and flexible. Like any construction project, it ended up over budget and behind schedule. Gateway was there at every step along the way. More than once they went to bat for me with the General Contractor to reign in costs. They were also persistent and thorough about arranging SBA loans for the project and were able to take advantage of their established relationships with the SBA brokers to make it all happen. My contact there was a V.P. with decision-making authority. The convenience of having his cell number - and round-the-clock access - cannot be overstated. Big projects have a life of their own and problems don't always present during "banker hours". Whenever I needed to talk money, Gateway was a phone call away. Done. The entire crew there is helpful and truly a pleasure to work with. As the project wound down, and the financial dust started to settle, I found myself regretting not having a reason to call the bank.
