I met with Chris (the owner) and he was great throughout the process. He's doing a lot of work in Folsom because the moss is going crazy here for some reason. His team came out and started with the roof... and oh my gosh... the amount of stuff that came off our roof was stunning, like maybe two ten gallon buckets of moss and crud (first time cleaning in 30 years). They cleaned the solar panels, then proceeded to power wash the entire house, and all the concrete front, back and side yards. Everything is cleaner now, and worth the expense. I checked with other companies too, but Cali offered the all-in-one bundle that left the roof, screens, walls, and concrete looking great.

He even asked our next door neighbors for permission to clean up a bit that went over there (homes here are very close together). In the areas that I and my husband were able to look at, it looks almost like a new roof. As you can see from the before / after photos, there are a few stains remaining, but all living garbage (moss, lichen, and whatever else was growing up there) is completely gone. They were highly recommended by our roofer, so I didn't get any other quotes. I can't say whether the price was high, low, or average. At roughly 75 cents per square foot, the cost was certainly more than I was expecting. (The type of roof, as well as its pitch, probably also factors in to the pricing.) So 5* for the job as accomplished, with the caveat that the price seemed high. But then again, what doesn't these days?

On the day of, I received a text confirming they were en route. Jason arrived and checked in with me and confirmed the gutter cleaning services I ordered and got right to work. I asked to let me know before starting work if there would be any additional charges. He said it wasn't a problem to do so (there were no additional charges). During the process, I noticed there was some debris on the top of my garage after the leaf blowing stage, and stepped out to mention it to Jason. He explained he would need to do another round to rinse the gutters, but he backtracked and took care of the gravel before he even got to the rinsing stage. Our cedar is quite old, with mildew, and we were not sure how well it would respond, but it held up beautifully and the difference is dramatic. Even in the photos we took right after the wash, while everything is still wet, you can see how much life came back into the wood. Nick was fantastic to work with from start to finish. Communication was clear and consistent, he showed up exactly when he said he would, and the level of detail and care in the work really stood out.
