Our…read moreclients took us here as we were the out of towners and wanted to show us the OG spot for the famous lobster tower. The restaurant was surrounded in tanks full of lobster, crab, seafood and then a ton of dry aged steaks. Definitely something you don't see in California. Clean and spacious. Service was what you would expect from a Chinese seafood restaurant. Overall the meal was good, for me and a few others at the table the star of the show was actually the fish. The lobster while impressive when they brought it out was not as flavorful as one would have expected. And same with the king crab legs - my favorite have been the ones I've had in SF. Was interesting to come and experience it but I wouldn't come back. I prefer quality food over an IG-moment.

The establishment is famous for its iconic, towering mountains of deep-fried Hong Kong-style lobster and giant Alaskan king crabs.Without a doubt, the food is exceptional. The seafood is extraordinarily fresh--pulled straight from massive surrounding glass tanks--and prepared to absolute perfection with their signature Maggi sauce and garlic toppings. However, the major downside here is the notoriously slow and chaotic service. Due to the massive crowds, servers can be hard to flag down, orders take a long time to arrive, and the staff often feels rushed or inattentive. Despite the frustrating wait times and subpar service, the spectacular flavors and theatrical presentation make it a worthwhile destination for patient seafood lovers.Watch the massive lobster towers being prepared and served fresh at this iconic spot

Now the little hot crab is in my tummy, all safe and sound…read more Singapore chili crab has been on my list for a very very long time. This place did it Soo well. Now I can go to heaven, in peace. Place is small, and waiting for a table is de rigor. We placed our name in the Google waitlist, then waited another hour to be seated on Friday night. Based on reviews, got the Singapore chili crabs with the king oyster mushrooms (under the crab it soaked up all the goodness), spicy clams garlic veggies and the beef in black pepper/garlic. All were well done, the veggies had great wokhai, met with appreciation at the table. Clams and crabs were spicy for some and ok for others (our table was Cantonese and Korean). Crab was delicious, and the sauce called for rice to be mixed in after the crab was done. It filled us, but not too much. Next time we might try other sauces, but the Singapore chili sauce was killer. Totally worth the money and the hassle. In a mall full of other restaurants this place was the busiest. Very cute decor and free ice cream!

Overall the food was good. The sauces were all really good and enhanced the flavour of the shellfish. In my opinion, the salted egg yolk was a bit too creamy and felt better suited for something like a pasta. The curry was alright, but my favourite was the Singaporean chilli crab. It was a whole infusion of flavour and had a little kick to it as well! My only complaint is it is a bit on the pricey side (was about $70 per person), but that's expected with lobster and crab.

Seating is limited and a little bit tight but you'll be fine. Parking is also limited and there are handicap spots. I will always recommend this restaurant to all my seafood lovers out there! Hostess seated us quickly and brought a clean highchair Waiter/waitress was amazing and knowledgeable about the different types of oysters and what it tastes like , aswell as which sauces pair with them.

The oysters were excellent. We had a dozen Mapeques ($1.50 special) then 1/2 doz Fanny Bays (my friend likes the huge ones... whereas anything that large needs to be cooked for me) and 1/2 doz... something from the Eastern US that was good. Their mixed shellfish fry plate was quite tasty. We also had their calamari, which was better than any other I've had in a long time. If you like fried calamari, this is the one to have. If you are iffy about it, definitely have it here, because it's excellent. And just to keep the deep fried theme going, we had a side of fries, lol. We ended up making friends with the couple beside us at the bar. Shots were had, friendships made. More shots ensued... Now we are going to see them perform with their band at Massey Hall at the end of May. The things that happen on a Friday night! The staff were fabulous. Very friendly. I was absolutely shocked by how cheap our bill was for all the food and booze we had! I actually asked the guy to make sure he hadn't forgotten anything because it seemed wrong! Anyway, I look forward to my next visit.

The decor is refreshed and modern and the service was good for a Chinese restaurant, however I felt the menu was a bit confusing. After spending 10 minutes trying to order for our group of 6, we settled on some dishes where none stood out. The veggie dish with flounder was especially odd to me - super fishy and pungent but not in a good way. Overall I could give Dragon View another try, but maybe a pre-set menu for a larger group. Their set menus did seem quite expensive which is why we ordered à la carte. The à la carte menu was priced very reasonably.

It is on the small side compared to some other dimsum places. There is one main dining room and I think two smaller "private" rooms. There are not many parking spots in front of the restaurant but luckily they have a back door as well so you don't have to walk all the way around. We ordered a lot of food and it all came pretty quickly. Some dishes that I really enjoyed were the beef tendon, rice noodle rolls and the BBQ pork noodles. It is a great portion size and good for sharing with larger parties. Note: Bathrooms downstairs are cleaner than the upstairs ones!

With me being allergic to most shellfish, I played it safe and got a beef short rib bento box. It included California rolls, sushi, salad, miso soup, and rice. It was pretty good! For under $25 per person, this was a pretty good deal, especially for the amount of food that we got. We were all full! The decor is simple but attractive, with good spacing between tables. Service is friendly and we always feel welcome to eat in with our 3yo daughter. - Seafood is always fresh and sauces are tasty. We do like the cajun spice but usually opt for the garlic butter (non-spicy) so our 3yo daughter can partake. - Seafood Fried Rice is a little spicy and not suitable for young children or those with low tolerance, but it is really tasty and complements the seafood boil well! - Osaka sushi platter, no complaints, there's a good variety and everything is fresh. The wasabi isn't top grade/authentic, but it's not horseradish (thankfully) and passable. We've also ordered on a couple occasions for takeout, the trays are well packed, no leaks, and just as full as eating in!
