I've never been to an Oberweis ice cream store, as I don't live near one, but I passed one today and decided to stop, since I've heard good things about their products. The drive-through line went pretty quickly - there were four cars in front of me, and I was through the line and driving away in under five minutes. I got a single scoop of black raspberry chocolate chunk, and it was pretty amazing. I was happy that the chocolate chunks were more fudgy than crunchy, and I really like that they didn't use artificial colorings or flavorings in this ice cream (per their website - I like being able to see all the ingredients in what I'm eating!) It looks like they had a lot of fun flavors, from apple pie to lemon blackberry to caramel espresso, along with all the usual suspects. I will definitely say yes to the next Oberweis store I see!
