The food that was sitting in the tray was thrown away because it had been over 20 minutes. I was in shock but appreciative. The aroma when you walk inside makes you feel as if you have walked into your families home for Sunday dinner, it smelled that good. The chicken flats (spicy) were outstanding. The mashed potatoes & gravy were divine and the mac-n-cheese needed a tad more seasoning but it was good. The cook was so sweet. He made me feel welcome and he listened to make sure my order was prepared correctly. Huck's Kitchen is a 10 out of 10. I will pass up all the drive through chicken spots on Lindbergh just to get FRESH made to order food with Zero attitude. Great job!

Instead of crossing over to QT, I figured that I could use a car wash anyways and decided to fill up here. The car wash was normally priced $6 for a basic wash, and with my savings on fuel it ended up costing about $4, not a huge savings but it was something. Anyways the pumps were clean and easy to use, however I did not step inside. When I pulled around to use the car wash I discovered that the machine was slow, very slow, I mean it took nearly 15+ minutes to do 3 cars ahead of me. And to make matters worse while waiting for the car in front of me to finish I could see mold growing on the machine, it was a mess. Hopefully the inside of this station is maintained better than a machine that is meant to keep the outside of your car so fresh and so clean.

The staff are friendly and welcoming and greet you as you enter. They were also friendly upon check out. If you are in the area and in need gas, bathrooms, snacks, sodas and a convenient location with friendly staff, stop on into Motomart!

Breakfast items are served and can be freshly prepared if you have a few moments for a special request. They have fresh brewed tea, yeah. But unlike my beloved Quik Trip, it is not a tea bar with multiple choices of fruit flavorings and green or black tea. Directly off the highway and across from Quik Trip, I've wondered if Huck's opening has a negative effect on the bottom line for QT.

It seems to be popular, so you'd think some Yelper would have already got the review ball rolling. The staff was friendly, moved the lines quickly and still offered personable service. I was even impressed with the cleanliness and well stocked merchandise for the volume of business they were doing. This is not a QT in my hood or a typical area that I travel, but they impressed me and would recommend it for those who live near by.

Things I noticed while I waited: First: The floor was very dirty and even a wet spot near where I was standing. Their floor used to be clean almost all the time because I would constantly see someone cleaning it. 2nd: It took longer than usual to make the 2 drinks and it wasn't very busy and they had at least 5 workers there. 3rd: When she brought me the drinks, they were in much smaller cups and I told her I put large and she said that right now that was their large because of some issue with the cups. What? Anyway, like I said, this QT has always been great but seems to be going downhill ever since they remodeled it. Hopefully they'll get good again. Oh also, the drinks were not as good either. It tasted like it was missing something.
