Solid selection. Loved the floral patterns and the vast assortment of styles. The clothes run very slim and aren't really for the tall folk (I'm 6'4"), but I couldn't pass up some of the short sleeve polos. The Express Store is very well organized and was greeted upon arrival. The downside is that they have several registers that always seem to have a line and one mobile checkout that they really are adamant about. If you buy clothes here, I recommend that you don't do it without a combo of clothing during one of their sales or if you had a coupon. Buying at regular price is pretty pricy, but after all the discounts from their various seasonal sales, they are starting to become very good value. The graphic tees here are pretty unique and stylish, but not too crazy. The button up shirts are always classy and versatile. I am on the taller end as I mentioned before and I feel like the sleeves can be a little too slim and not extend, but I think that is going along with their modern fit collection. Definitely, nothing that my Taylor couldn't handle. read more

This is my go-to and I've always loved coming here. There was a girl working here before that I saw all the time and she was very helpful. But today was a huge disappointment, the girl who rang me up either is completely new and really didnt have her ducks in a row or she needs to quit retail because shes very slow. 1) i asked the cashier for a price check and the cashier asked me if i had a rewards membership with them, so i provided that info. Not sure why she needed that to do a price check. 2) after checking my rewards account she then tells me i qualify for their credit card and asked if i wanted sign up for one, i said no thanks i just wanna check the price of these shorts. She asks me again if i want to sign up bc i'll get a discount if i get their credit card today... 3) theres a $10 reward on my account and without checking the price of the shorts, she asks me if i want to use my reward. I told her for the 3rd time, i want to do a price check of the shorts... 4) skipping forward i pay for the shorts, i paid in cash. The total was 19 and some change of a few cents and since i was paying in cash i told her "heres the 20 but i have change for the pennies" -- she takes the 20 and gives me a waddle of change back... when i looked at her and said "i said i had change for the few cents." She legit looked at me and said "oh. I already closed the register". In attempt to lighten my wallet by using cash, now i have a heavier wallet full of coins because the cashier couldnt bother to listen for any of the times above. read more

I think that all of the things that I like about Express are more about the designs and less anything particularly special about the store itself. This location is slightly above-par, insomuch as the staff are friendly and the location is great. Can't say much about the inventory; you've seen one Express, you've pretty much seen them all. I do wish they geared more of their merchandise toward the taller amongst us. read more

This is my favorite Express location in all of LA. They have the best selection and the employees are always very friendly and helpful. Express is the only place that I can find jeans that fit me properly because I am not super tall. I don't have to get them hemmed like I do with other brands. The main reason I shop here is the deals. As a loyalty member and credit card holder I always have multiple coupons and rewards and I would never shop here when there's not a sale. (There's pretty much always a sale.) I don't mind driving across town to come to this location because they have everything I need. read more

I was having a more than horrible experience with sizes coming to my house incorrect and deliveries taking forever and getting cancelled by the robots you get on the phone, during this pandemic. I had, had enough and found out that the express store down the street from me was actually opened. Thank goodness that Julie and Darrell were both working that shift. Without both of their knowledge and patience, the express phone customer service may have lost me as a customer. They both took the time to help me with the sizes and call the phone service and wait with me, to make sure I got everything worked out. Hire more like those two express. read more

Influenced by a lot of my male coworkers that shopped at Express and decided to purchase a suit of my own from here. I'm very sad to say that I was not impressed with the quality of production of their clothing. I purchased a skinny innovator about 2 months ago. Within 1 month, the slacks ripped at the crotch and they were loose around the waist so they were definitely not tight on me. And just today, the inside of my the left sleeve of my blazer ripped as I gently put it on this morning before my business meeting. I doubt I'll be able to get my money back for this, but I know I won't be shopping here anymore... Just bought a new suit here. Luckily they had my size in exactly what I was looking for. I would like to say that the staff here was outstanding. I was approached by multiple associates and managers all willing and eager to help, but not in an annoying way, you know what I mean. I was helped by nathan mostly, who helped me with the fitting checks, the style checks, and generally was just helpful in every way I asked and more. I want to say thank you to him, who i know was just covering from another store that day, but also the tall gentleman at the register who helped me as well, i didnt get his name but I think it started with a D. I needed new clothes for work and was happy I stopped by here. A few weeks ago they had a great clearance sale that included an additional 50% off the sales racks. I was able to get a sweater, blouses, and a pair of pants. After my purchase, it included a $25 coupon. I used the coupon on pants, which fit well and true to size. Great quality of clothes with a large selection. I always end up buying and spending more than i would like to but they have some really nice clothing lines. I walked in just to browse and found a jacket I loved. My only hangup was the price. It was a little high, but the staff was great at helping me out. In addition to informing me that the jacket qualified for the 30% off sale, they also told me that there was a coupon for $15 off every $60 if I could pull it up on my phone. The jacket still wasn't cheap but was definitely more affordable and I felt less guilty buying it. Great customer service - the first girl out on the floor helped me find the deal I wanted. The second girl on the floor helped me get honest feedback about how the jacket looked on me. This Express is fairly large. It has a great selection of shirt colors. Unfortunately, the fits are horrible. Maybe that's just my body type, though. The staff was helpful and welcoming, as well. However, the quality of the clothes merits a mediocre rating. read more

I get most of my work clothes here. The selection is great, the quality is pretty good, and the fit is spot on. I'm on the slimmer side and the dress shirts have a "modern fit," which means that they don't look like a tent on me. And if you buy 3 or more, they're only 30 bucks each, I can live with that. With the variety of colors and designs, it's hard to decide which ones to get, so I end buying enough to last me awhile. The pants are great too: lower rise than normal (I hate nipple high pants), good quality thin wool, perfect cut, and NO PLEATS! Waaaaay better than Banana Republic pants...fo shizzle. The casual clothing here is a little too...uhhh...metro/Euro for me. Crazy prints, crazy colors, too many logos, and weird phrases that don't make any sense. I read some t shirts and ended up scratching my head. I don't get it. read more

I used to shop at this store all the time before I started to attend a college for fashion design and realized that their clothes aren't worth what they charge. Yeah, the clothes are cute, good quality knock offs, but they are still ridiculously pricey, especially their plain jane denim jeans.. The staff is ok, but sometimes you have to let your customers breathe! I did however need assistance and asked one of the employees for help and he couldn't seem to stop talking long enough or was too busy assuming he already knew what I was talking about to help me... I've always shopped at Express for professional clothing. They tend to have good prices and constantly seem to have sales throughout the year. There is always usually some sort of coupon available. I like the selection at this location and the staff is helpful. Sometimes though during one of their big sales, the place ends up looking like a big rummage sale and the clothes have a used feel and smell to it. Went here to get a suit before a wedding. Night before I fly out, I'm packing and notice they left the shoplifting sensor on the pants. I call up and ask if there's any way I can remove it. They say no, of course, and that I need to bring it in. I complain about having to waste my time going back to the store-- which is a nightmare to access-- and having to pay for parking (which still costs you, even if you can get it validated, which Express cannot do for some reason. Do they offer to pay for my parking? Do they offer me a discount? Nope. That suit ended up costing me way more than I had anticipated thanks to their incompetence and indifference. read more

This is for Express Men. This review isn't about the clothes or the store. The clothes are great, prices are good and the store is large and well stocked. My review is about the shocking customer service I received today. First of all the sales staff are, quite simply, too aggressive. They push you hard as soon as you walk into the store, and every associate asks the same questions. Today, I just wanted to buy a shirt and pants. One of the associates (a man) asked if he could get a fitting room started for me. That's nice of him, I thought to myself. I said I didn't need one right now, and then he said "Cool, no problem. Whenever you're ready let me know and I'll get a demo shirt from the back for you to try on." I stopped in my tracks to investigate what he meant by that comment. Turns out he didn't want me to try on the $80 shirt that I wanted to buy. What ensued next was 2 different conversations with him and another associate about my right to try on a shirt. I could hardly believe what was being recommended: As I thought, they wanted me to try on some stupid demo shirt INSTEAD of the actual shirt that I wanted to buy. The kept going round in circles, saying the same thing - that it's "better." I kept responding with "How is making me try on a shirt that has nothing to do with the shirt that I want to buy, better for me?" and they couldn't give me a straight answer. After a few minutes of back-and-forth, I literally had to put my hand up because I couldn't handle their poor attitudes any longer. I told them....I've been shopping at Express nationwide for over a decade, and I have NEVER encountered this problem before. Why now? I literally had to tell them "We are not going to have a debate about this. Let me try on the clothes" and to my astonishment, the man said "well if you insist." .....by this point I was just stunned. Am I requesting something too impossible that can't be achieved?!??! To try on the shirt?!?! His poor attitude had to be seen. The words 'sassy' or 'salty' are far too mild. He was downright rude, dismissive, and condescending. I ultimately tried on the shirt and bought it because I liked it. But no thanks to the either of the associates who were probably doing nothing more than parroting-back some stupid corporate policy or something about trying on dress shirts. Truly a bizarre experience. So bizarre that it should be for all to read about. As I think about it....why wouldn't they let me try on the shirt? Did they think I was going to do something bad? Was I being profiled? It's the only logical conclusion that I can come up with. What a bunch of jokers this store is.....save your money and go to Zara or Armani Exchange where customer service is always valued, in my opinion. read more

My favorite store!! Giving 4 stars instead of 5 because sometimes depending on when you go there's really no one around to help. But other times, they're super helpful and attentive! I have and continue to be a big fan of Express clothing for many years, I absolutely love the quality of their clothing and their prices. I've been to many stores, however, the store at the Beverly Center has been by far the one with worst CUSTOMER SERVICE. HORRIBLE experience, staff would literally look to my face and not ask if I needed any help, didn't greet me, it's like I didn't exist. There were other customers that were being greeted and asked if they needed any help finding anything. It was so awful that my 10 year old daughter noticed the lack of customer service towards me.
