He is a like-able guy and offers many other services that I would consider like installing A/C. Raul didn't stop with just removing what I asked him to. He continued to ask if this or that needed to be removed, and saw an ironing board next to the trash cans that he knew wouldn't get picked up by the trash truck, so he took the initiative and took that too. I am extremely disappointed by this company's stunning level of unprofessionalism. I sit here now, writing this review 50 minutes after my appointment with Express Junk Removal was meant to take place. I am a working, full-time physician with little free time. I needed a bedroom set hauled away and decided to book an appointment with this company for today at 5 PM. I explicitly mentioned my limited availability to Raul. He assured me that he could do the job and underscored that his was a "family run business," and that he would "take care of it." So it was to my surprise that that by 5 PM, he wasn't here. I waited about 10 minutes and called the phone number to which I had texted my address. No answer. I texted the number. No answer. Finally I went to my computed, dug up the web address and called the number listed. When Raul picked up, he preceded to tell me that he was "still at the dump" and that he would "come after" he was finished. I asked him for an ETA. He said he would "find out" and call me back". So, 10 minutes later, he calls back and says that actually he "won't be able to make it" because his "truck is full" and the "dump is closed." I reminded him that I will be working tomorrow from 8 am to 10 pm, and would thus be unavailable (the following days were Christmas Eve and Christmas). He then told me "wait let me ask my friend if I could use his truck" and "give me 20 minutes and i'll call you back." So, I waited. Later, I get a text saying "sorry, we aren't going to able be able to make it today." Rather than texting back, I promptly grabbed my laptop, and began to write this review. I was infuriated by the glaring dishonesty and the large amount of my time that was wasted -- time that could have been spent finding a reputable, reliable company to get the job done. Perhaps Raul thought I would not take the time to write a review.
