Special recognition to Sherrita: I am a difficult blood draw and have had many painful and bruising experiences elsewhere. She is the only person I have encountered who can draw my blood with virtually no pain or difficulty. I often do not even feel the needle. Her skill and compassion are exceptional, and she has made a huge difference in my ability to get lab work without fear or anxiety. The team is welcoming to children, anxious patients, older adults, and patients from diverse language and cultural backgrounds. I have personally seen staff take extra time to help Spanish-speaking patients and families understand the check-in process, provide needed information, and feel comfortable throughout their visit. There may be a wait sometimes, but they keep the process moving and treat people with care. This location and its staff deserve far more appreciation than they receive online.

When the technician came to the room, she did not have any manners. My experience during the blood draw was uncomfortable. The tourniquet was tightened much too tightly around my arm, causing significant pain. I've had many blood draws before, and I've never experienced that level of discomfort from a tourniquet. I understand it needs to be snug, but this felt excessively tight. I hope this feedback helps ensure future patients have a more comfortable experience.

When I explained the kiosk was broken, she dismissed me, saying only the tray was broken but working and to just wait for the other machine. She then finished with the person in front of me and walked away entirely without helping me. She was so unprofessional that another patient in the waiting room actually confronted her about her attitude towards her earlier. I only managed to check in because a kind patient in the waiting area overheard the exchange and left her seat to help me navigate the broken kiosk. Absolute lack of customer service. There's a group of businesses in between the Safeway and CVS, and the spot to get lab work done is amongst them. The parking lot was a disaster, so I just parked at CVS and easily walked over. I know where it is now, but it wasn't the easiest locating based on the signs, but I found it. There's a kiosk as soon as you walk in -- checking in on there was easy, and then I sat until I was called. The phlebotomist (as I learned they're called) was really nice, professional, and had nice convo as she drew blood. It's one of my least favorite things in the world, and she made it better. To obtain results, it is suggested to download the app, and it was pretty easy. Lab work took 4 business days. I have no idea what it's like at peak times... my hunch is to try and avoid, given the limited space. You do have the option to check in, request a text when it's your turn and exit, but if you're in a hurry... try to come at the off times. If possible, I would recommend moving it further away from the door. If you stand back far enough, the entrance door can hit you.

This location is on the 2nd floor, right above the IHOP. Free parking I went in and filled out a short questionnaire and waited my turn to be called in. The clipboard will tell you the number of which you will be called. I was #5 by the time I walked in. You specify which type of test you want. I wanted the rapid test. The nurse swabbed me and I was on my way. They send you the results in email, and she said it may take up to the end of the day. I went in the back for my test @ 820 and had my results an hour later. There was also a guy who walked in for testing. He had to fill out the registration form and then wait. By that time, he was the only one in the office. I recommend for all covid testing!!!!!
