My experience this evening at the Redner's location in Joppa, MD was extremely disappointing…read more First, I found it inappropriate for management to address an employee in front of a customer. Any corrective conversation should be handled privately and respectfully. When I later expressed my concern regarding this behavior to the Store Director, Vikki Eiswert, I was told to leave the store after stating that I felt her approach toward the employee was rude. Rather than engaging in a professional discussion, she stated she would not argue, removed items from my hands, and proceeded to contact law enforcement. At no point was I aggressive or causing a disturbance; the only issue was that I voiced my concern about her conduct. I will not be shopping at this location again, and I intend to ensure that this experience is brought to the attention of the appropriate parties. No one--whether a manager or a store associate--should be spoken to in a belittling or disrespectful manner. The employee involved was not at fault, and being in a leadership position does not justify speaking to employees in an unprofessional way. While being asked to leave the store is not my primary concern, I will continue to share my experience until it reaches the appropriate level of review.

In terms of paper plates , cups and forks were extra affordable. There have a nice variety of things that once can buy including having a deli, seafood department , bakery and food area. I'll definitely be stopping by Redner's more often

I love my walmart plus membership. I've used it quite often. I've been with them since the very…read morebeginning. I love their service. If you have a problem, they always fix it right away. I had a problem this week. I placed my order and then it says you have so many more hours that you can still add to your order so I need it crescent roll so I order two rolls of them thinking it was gonna come with my order that I just made and I didn't come with them. I get a phone call that you're going to deliver the crescent rolls in 20 minutes and I said excuse me I don't understand why I'm getting charged seven $6.99 delivery fee when I just bought 60 some dollars worth of groceries and I wasn't charged a service fee because of walmart plus so I think with a misunderstanding I was not under the impression that I would be charged $6.99 for two boxes of crescent rolls. I tried to talk with the AI girl very helpful but no no compassion at all. I was trying to explain to her and I can't afford six dollars or $.99 for delivery for two boxes of rolls. So anyway nothing was solved. I even expressed my feelings that I would possibly stop going with walmart and go with giant or Safeway of course she had nothing to say about that. I'm sorry you're not happy bye-bye so anyway that's where I stand with walmart so you know what they say. You cut off your nose despite your face face anyway I just felt like I should say something. Maybe there's other women out there my age I'm 81 and I was just confused because I wasn't cold than that I would be charged this money if I told me I would've said no ma'am thank you anyway OK thank you very much Patricia Gordon.

Let me start by saying that if I could rate less than one star, I would. This place is pitiful…read more Starting with the parking lot, dead animal carcasses, and multiple dead rodent bodies smashed into the concrete. More trash on the parking pads than in a dumpster. The carts are filled with trash and the cart carriers bring them in to rot like that. On the inside, it's like opening another can of worms. The stockers completely annihilate the food that goes on the shelves. The can goods are beyond dented. The foods out of date, between rotting/moldy meringue pie being put in the clearance section, unrefridgerated. The candy section is out of date. Cream cheese left on shelves just to rot and be put back in the refrigerator days later. They are constantly out of stock of most items, the workers are lazy, the self checkout have layers of slime on them and could easily be cleaned down but aren't. It's a sad experience to come to this store.

I really liked the isle that sells additional household goods because you can really get some good items at a good price. The seafood department is always fresh and the deli department was as well. Both departments associates had pleasant attitudes and were quick with service. There were several lines open which made the check out process quicker. The cashier was pleasant and detailed. Bit too mention the decor if the market is supercool and its history. Not too mention they have good products. I especially love that they sell baked bread from Kneads bakery! W

While my son wasn't necessarily a model employee, the things he dealt with were unacceptable. The attendance policy is ridiculous, requiring 3 weeks notice for time off. We recently had a death in the family, and even after being told ahead of time that we had to travel out of town unexpectedly, he still received a point for attendance. At one point, the manager tried to make an example out of him and told all of his coworkers "this is how you shouldn't act as an employee and then said his name." Very Very unprofessional!!!

It really stinks when the closest grocery store to you is the worst. This is where we go based on…read moreproximity but tonight was the tip of the iceberg and I will not be back. I have lived here for 5 years and ShopRite has always been more expensive than its competitors, but it's so convenient I usually turn a blind eye to the prices. Their selection is fine, sometimes deals are great, sometimes. Over the last few months they have been making changes to their layout, which is great when it makes the shopper experience better. Tonight I walked in to a store that was basically flipped and scrambled in a pretty asinine way. That being said, as a creature of habit, I can totally understand my own frustrations probably heightened my irritation, that is until check out. There are roughly 9 self check out lanes and maybe 7 or 8 manned stations, may be more or less, I'm not sure because I don't think I've seen more than 3 open at any given time. Mind you, it is almost 9 pm on a Saturday so the store is dead. There is 1 checkout lane open and as I go to check out, no one is at the register. Okay... not ideal, but self checkout it is. ShopRite's new policy is 20 items or less for self checkout, totally understandable. Except your only manned station has no one there. There, again, are 9 self checkouts... and no one in the store. I had about 27 items. Definitely more than the limit, but nowhere else for me to checkout. I am ringing up my items, nothing big or crazy and am about 6 or 7 items in when the attendant working self checkout tells me that this aisle is reserved for 20 items or less. I explain that I understand but there is no one at regular checkout, who is now back and has 2 people in her line, and there is no one behind me. She then says, I know, but 20 items or less... let me void that for you and you can head over to regular checkout. She proceeds to step to my register, void my transaction and send me on my way. I had to pack up the things I had already scanned back into my cart to re check out at another station. Maybe I sound ridiculous but I am flabbergasted at the ridiculousness of the situation at this overpriced low end grocery store.
