My favorite store ever! Best part? The ladies that work at this one are so friendly! Huge selections and a military discount!

Excellent staff and organized store. Every time I come in, I always get greeted. There is always…read moresomething extra sale on top of something. Although it's not one of the biggest stores, it'll still have most of what you need. I usually shop here for working professional slacks, pants and shirts. They have lovely dresses and coats, appropriate for office parties or a formal dinner meet. The sizes are just right, if the pants are too long, they usually tailor for you. I recommend getting their credit card, as you always get extra percentage off on top of the crazy sells already. Parking is free, and there is plenty at briar gate.

I wanted to cheer on my buddy T-Dawg in court so I had to find some "nice" pants. Notice I put…read more"nice" in quotes, because I think my Arc'teryx ski pants are pretty darn nice but the squares at the courthouse said they're "not appropriate" last I was there. Well it's not my fault I wanted to get a few runs in at Monarch to calm my nerves before fighting the ticket those pigs slapped on my Subie. Anyway, I needed pants. Banana Republic was having a sale, which meant it was more crowded than Breck on a powder day. The salespeople were buzzing around, and while I respect the hustle, there are certain lines you do not cross. While I was dropping trou in the changing room, one of them asked me "How are those pants fitting, Trevor?" Hold up. I've got my pants around my ankles. There are only two people who can address me when my pants are down: my buddy T-Dawg, and Jesus. T-Dawg was at his place, and I don't see this salesperson rocking sandals and walking on water. Needless to say, I bailed before they could disrespect my privacy again. I wore my good hiking pants to court and saw T-Dawg get his license back, so it all worked out in the end. Probably wouldn't hit up this Banana Republic again though.

Dillard's - No Tom Ford out because loss prevention is too hard. Guess what? Bought the Eau de Parfum elsewhere.

I used to shop at this Dillard's many years ago and loved it. Recently, I noticed a weird…read morestore-wide odor but nonetheless bought a shirt I was crazy about...until I tried it on at home and discovered the "stank" was IN the shirt, triggering my asthma badly, and giving me a rash. Same as another Yelp poster, I tried everything I could think of to get the smell out--soaking, vinegar, Borax, even dish soap--and washed it over and over but nothing worked. I had to get rid of the shirt. Then the other day I bought underwear there, and had exactly the same reaction. I finally realized this chemical smell is IN EVERYTHING in the store. Pathetic that I won't be able to shop there anymore.

DILLARD'S is horrible!! They have horrible policies, horrible management, and they do not value…read moretheir customers. They literally steal from their customers! I WILL NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN AND I HOPE YOU WON'T EITHER! I purchased a formal dress from a clearance rack. It looked good under the dim lighting in the store. A few weeks later when I tried it on at home I could see stains all over the entire dress, so bad that it could not be worn. They absolutely refused to give me a refund or exchange stating that they have a 3- day return policy on clearance items, even though their website states that those return limitations do not apply to merchandise that is damaged. The store manager in Colorado Springs is mean. She accused me of putting the tags back on the dress in the wrong location as if I would have damaged it myself and then returned it. She and her associates ganged up on me and were threatening me, who was the customer! I'm a grandmother and it was a bit scary to me. Why does society not speak up these days, but instead continue to support businesses like that, as if the customer is bad for asking for a refund or complaining about a product they paid money for that they can't use because it's damaged or defective; like it's just ok to be taken advantage of! I had other issues with them not honoring returns in the past but didn't learn my lesson until now. If my review isn't convincing enough just read other reviews on Dillard's. There's good reason why they only have a 1.3 rating.

Worst customer service at this location…read more We love Sierra and shop there often - but the Colorado Springs store has the worst customer service and we wont be back. The staff is rude, learned apparently from the manager. Had been treated poorly there in the past. Then today, aside from being ignored in line by 3 staff members, including the manager, who were doing nothing, standing around with only one nice gal trying to help everyone and apologizing to all. Then we had recently purchased a an Avalanche dog cot/bed that quickly ripped apart. We did not have our receipt but read online we could exchange or get store credit. They still had the product in stock, so tags and info were available. They would not honor the exchange. We were told she couldn't do anything for us. Seriously? Why not?? We will make the drive and shop up in Castle Rock from now on. We have always been treated well up there. I suggest you do the same.

I found exactly what I needed as well as a few other things. I got a pair of altras for $60! With my shoes and designer clothes I bought, I spent about as much as I would have on a brand new pair of running shoes! Sierra has a plethora of men's and women's outdoor/athletic clothing, shoes and accessories and you can get so much bang for your buck here. I just wish there were more locations!

**WARNING** Monitor Your Purchas History!!! I give this…read morewarning, but even if your purchase history is not correct, they won't fix it unless you report to their customer service desk with information from their website and stand in front of them. I recently purchased a firearm from the Colorado Springs Scheels. While waiting for the Colorado Democrat's "cool down" period to pass, I decided I would register for a Scheels online account to track my purchases. After creating an account, I noticed it actually had all my purchase history, likely from using the same email for digital receipts on previous purchases. While looking at my purchase history, I noticed the firearm I purchased, but then noticed a second firearm purchased 1 minute later... Yet, I only purchased one firearm. The website shows receipts for all the purchases. The receipt for the firearm I purchased shows "Customer: Default Scheels" in place of my name. Yet the receipt for the firearm I DID NOT PURCHASE shows "Customer: James Parker" and shows it being purchased using two separate cards (a VISA and a MasterCard) - and using my name on the receipt. Additionally, I confirmed they offer a 5% discount for miliary veterans. I showed my veteran ID and then paid the total. Looking at my receipt, the veteran discount was not applied to my purchase... Yet, when I look at "my" other receipt, for the firearm I DID NOT PURCHASE, it shows Scheels applied the veteran discount to this mysterious second firearm sale using my name and account information and then applying a "Tax Exempt" ID number that I have never seen once in my life. I am not sure if who's information they used for the background check, they say I don't need a new background check to purchase another weapon as long as it's within 30 days... If this is malicious, it would make sense this next sale happened one minute later before a legitimate customer came to the counter. I'm not sure who they will be handing this other, paid for, firearm to - I just hope and pray it's not someone with bad intentions. When I called the store and asked to speak to a manager, I was transferred to Kevin. Kevin says this is beyond anything he can handle and that he would require me to return to the store in person to provide them with proof and documentation. After explaining to Kevin that all my documentation is from THEIR website, he still insisted I will have to bring the documentation from their website to their store for them to address in person. I used to think firearms sales transactions require strict record accuracy... until I purchased a firearm at Scheels. But at a minimum, customers should be able to trust that their information is protected and handled appropriately -- especially when it involves firearm transactions. I would highly recommend purchasing your firearms from a ligament firearms dealer before trusting a retail zombie like Scheels for your firearms purchase.
