I called Abetta to let them know that it is my friend who needs to receive the confirmation information and I re-iterated my friend's number. The male Abetta staff said the confirmation had gone to my friend's number and not mine - despite me looking at the relevant text on my phone!!! I thought how odd, and hoped this was the end of it. However, despite never contacting Abetta again since, I have been receiving a few, erratic confirmation texts from Abetta to which each I texted STOP! This offensive situation escalated early last Saturday morning when Abetta called (!) me to discuss a booking!?? I again told them that I had nothing to do them, that I had not made any bookings with them ever! The male Abetta staff he would look into this. But this morning I received yet another booking confirmation text, to which texted STOP. This is now unacceptably intrusive. I hence called Abetta to tell them to stop this harassment once and for all, but the female staff was extremely unfriendly, und unwilling/unable to even hear me out. She talked over me in an angry voice insisting that I booked cars with them!!! She was hell-bound to accuse me and unable to even consider for a moment that - given my experience - Abetta's system is flawed. I insisted the harassment be stopped, but she said 'EXCUSE ME a booking was made using your number...' Abetta's system is obviously flawed. Fix your system. Train your staff. STOP the harassment.

Absolutely appalling! DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE! They are basically a call centre (it sounded as…read morethough they were American) who farm out the jobs to taxi companies. I booked a car from them for my daughters wedding on 21/2/26 which I paid for. You had to put the time in on a clock face so I put 12 and in the box that we needed the car for a wedding in London. Unfortunately, 2 days before (once I had the actual number for the taxi company) I rang to check everything was okay and I was told the taxi had been booked for midnight on the Friday night!!! I said that I had put it was for a wedding. After many calls backwards and forwards (with people not calling me back!) I managed to arrange the car for the correct time on the 21st. I was rather worried that a car would actually turn up but luckily it did. I had then booked another car to pick us up at 5.30 p.m. and take us to the wedding party. From 4.30 I tried calling the number I was given to see if they could make it 5.15 but the phone was turned off. I tried a couple of times then thought I'd just leave it at 5.30. 5.30 came and went and no car showed up. I tried calling wanstead taxis and they kept saying somebody was on their way - a car eventually arrived at nearly 6.15 (nearly 45 minutes late). I wasn't happy so when i said to the driver that he was late (not in a nasty way!) he got really stroppy with me and said he wasn't taking that and drove off!!! I was flabbergasted. Luckily a black cab pulled up so we jumped in that and he agreed to take us to the party. I text wanstead taxis and said what had happened and they just started saying we couldn't have a refund but if we went back to the pick up spot they would send another car!!! We were extremely late by then so I said we were in a black cab and didn't have time to go back. I said if they wouldn't refund I would get onto my credit card company and she just sent a thumbs up emoji!!! WE eventually got to the party 30 minutes late - we were the last to arrive so I didn't get to see my daughter and husbands reaction to the balloons that I had had the party venue decorated with and missed out on all the photos that were taken at the beginning!!! This company were absolutely terrible so please DO NOT USE THEM.

Have looked at bigger companies but hey don't want short journeys. With this cab company no…read moreproblem, they don't mind short or long distances. So far have not had any major issue.
