I booked an executive car and my driver (Ben) was brilliant; professional and showed a real understanding of how to drive around London. My flight was delayed causing me to be 2 hours late meeting my driver. I thought I'd have lost my booking because of the delay but on the contrary, Ben waited for me and I wasn't charged additional add-on fees. If you want a professional service with 100% reliability at a great rate; you couldn't do better than use Hayber. I will only use this firm in the future. Well done Hayber, great job.

She then, both times months apart, gave the same excuse about a broken down vehicle. The drivers confirmed my suspicions that they only received the call once I had called the office to complain. These were Heathrow runs, not £10 rides. The drivers were perfectly good and did their best to get me to LHR on time, the office were useless. Avoid!

When I called the office to complain I was blamed for not specifically requesting air conditioning and the lady actually said I could have taken the train!! Given I am a customer- a loyal one at that- and had booked the taxi for practical reasons, this shocked me! Promised myself I won't be using Gemini again after that!

As a student I'm used to being ripped off or belittled but Gemini drivers are always professional, fair and friendly. The phone calls are quick and simple with the operator always chirpy and helpful no matter what time I ring up (sometimes 4am - I couldn't be that happy working at 4am!). Often the journeys I take are with many people so require many stops, but unlike other taxi firms the drivers never seem annoyed and know the area so well that it doesn't present a problem. If I'm travelling alone I still feel safe, which as a young female is rare. What most impressed me, however, is that when we hired a few of their taxis to take us to the station for a night out, the driver insisted very politely that we all put our seatbelts on before he moved off. I found that unbelievably safe and assuring.

Customer service was excellent and they dealt with a worry that I had fretted over with ease. (t was regarding a passenger's inability to walk long distances...) (as a side note - there is a review that gives this company one star - please do not let that review scare you away from this company. That person obviously got taken by one of the gypsy car services that are rampant at all major airports.)

Since that time I've used United at least half a dozen times and I've given them out to friends. Basically, I like them because: * When I call up, they identify me by name, apparently I'm on some screen somewhere that says I'm a regular customer (or so I'd like to think) * Their prices are WAY lower than a black cab, and very competitive compared to other car services. * The drivers are nice; they don't always know the way but that's what GPSes are for (I would like to point this out to the black cab drivers, who with their elitist mentality don't realize memorizing London maps is dépassé) . * They've been reliable, except for one incident where I got the runaround after extreme lateness of the driver. I forgave them because I once gave them the runaround and they didn't get annoyed. As long as they retain their level of service, they'll have a loyal customer/reviewer...
