Atrocious! Months ago, I helped a friend book an airport pick-up once, providing my friend's number as the contact number. Despite the fact that I never provided my number I received a booking confirmation text. I called Abetta to let them know that it is my friend who needs to receive the confirmation information and I re-iterated my friend's number. The male Abetta staff said the confirmation had gone to my friend's number and not mine - despite me looking at the relevant text on my phone!!! I thought how odd, and hoped this was the end of it. However, despite never contacting Abetta again since, I have been receiving a few, erratic confirmation texts from Abetta to which each I texted STOP! This offensive situation escalated early last Saturday morning when Abetta called (!) me to discuss a booking!?? I again told them that I had nothing to do them, that I had not made any bookings with them ever! The male Abetta staff he would look into this. But this morning I received yet another booking confirmation text, to which texted STOP. This is now unacceptably intrusive. I hence called Abetta to tell them to stop this harassment once and for all, but the female staff was extremely unfriendly, und unwilling/unable to even hear me out. She talked over me in an angry voice insisting that I booked cars with them!!! She was hell-bound to accuse me and unable to even consider for a moment that - given my experience - Abetta's system is flawed. I insisted the harassment be stopped, but she said 'EXCUSE ME a booking was made using your number...' Abetta's system is obviously flawed. Fix your system. Train your staff.
