Obnoxious, opportunistic driver kept engaging me in irrelevant conversation as if he were doing me a tremendous favor to drive me the 13 miles from St Albans train station to Luton Airport rather than charging £35 for the privilege. Thanks to his tragic sighing over my use of a credit card (really, who is going to be carrying local currency while headed indefinitely out of the country?), the delay and archaic technology caused me to miss my flight. Yeah, he had to call it in.
Driver #424 needs 1) to learn to read people better--silence is fine; and 2) to get a card payment app on his phone, the same one that displayed his fee in comically large numbers and to which he pointed repeatedly. Which of the non-approved reviews of this business is his? read more
