We were very pleased with the services of Twelve Transfers on a previous trip to London that we made prior arrangements with them again to have a driver waiting for us when we came out of customs at Heathrow Terminal 5. Our plane was late in arriving and somehow signals got crossed and the driver was not there. After a few phone calls, we found each other. It was a quiet and uneventful ride. We have come to rely on the efficient and prompt service we have received from Twelve Transfers. We highly recommend this company. It is nice having a picture of the car and driver who would be taking us from London to Southampton. Karim was waiting for us when we left our hotel. The car was a Jaguar and was most comfortable. Karim was a very skillful driver getting us out of London in no time and on the motorway to Southampton. It was an uneventful trip. We through enjoyed our conversations with Karim on various topics. * don't book this service if you want to arrive in a timely manner * * Uber or any other service is cheaper, more reliable, and quicker* I had a journey from Gatwick to W2 london. I usually use Uber / train but was arriving late and wanted peace of mind and a quick trip back home. Price was quite high at £110. I had booked the transfer for 00h15, reflecting the delay to my flight. I was at the gate at 00h20, however the driver didn't turn up until 00h40, 25 mins late!! I was then taken to a car which stunk of cigarettes which had been thinly veiled by a pot of diffuser. Despite the fact the roads were completely empty so late on a Sunday evening he drove at snails' pace, selecting a 'fuel efficient route' which added another 15-20 mins to the journey time. Result being, it took 1h45 mins from arriving at the gate to get home instead of a 1h journey. Absolutely livid. Complained to customer service who refused to take any accountability and tried to gaslight me into thinking I had booked the transfer at another time. read more

Wonderful experience using Twelve Transfers! My parents needed last minute airport transfer from London Heathrow to London Stansted Airport and I was able to easily book them transportation using the easy to use website. Laid out very nicely, it was easy filling in all the necessary information such as arrival time, baggage and car selection. What impressed me the most was the follow up email once I booked cautioning me about arrival times and that it might be best to push back the time on when the pick up driver will arrive. Not sure where to begin, but i can tell you how it ended. We booked a transportation from London to Bath. We had a wrong address and the driver wouldn't take us to the actual address which was 6 minutes away. So my family of 2 kids ages of 1.5 and 6 year old with 4 luggage were abandoned on a steep street in a 94 degree hot day. The driver was so rude and arrogant that if we were in the United States I would have take the time and money to suit the company and the driver individually for endangering my family. read more

I've used this service a few times going to and from Heathrow. After arriving at the airport, a driver was easy to find waiting with a sign. When waiting for pickup to go to the airport, the drivers were always on time if not a bit early. I do appreciate that they confirm your scheduled appointments via email ahead of time and send you information about your driver. Very good organization and reliable. read more

My daughter is an international student to the UK so we needed a car service that was reliable and could carry multiple bags and passengers. We were unsure about many car services because of the limited number of reviews. Although there were not many, we saw high reviews for Twelve Transfers and now understand why. Not only was signing up easy, but they communicated every step of the way and we're extremely accommodating when our flight was delayed by nearly four hours. Our driver Mr. Ariafar was very considerate and helpful. Additionally, the price was extremely reasonable (even cheap) considering how many items we had (over 7 items not including bags/passengers and under £180) recommend to anyone! read more

After searching options online, we decided to go ahead with Twelve based on the feedback we could find and the price which was better than some of the competitors we had checked. We were a group of 6 passengers, so it didn't work out much more expensive than public transport but much less than the Heathrow Express to our surprise. We went with 1 hour after landing which seemed appropriate and managed to get to the meeting point just in time, even though our flight was a bit early. Our driver Mariusz was already waiting for us and was easy to spot since we were provided with a photo of himself in advance. He was very friendly and assisted us with as much luggage as he could and directed us to his vehicle. The vehicle he was driving was a nice and clean Mercedes van. Although there was some traffic, driving through the city was smooth, and we reached our hotel in Kensington in no time. Our driver ensured we were getting dropped at the correct location, so he enquired with the concierge first before unloading our luggage. Everything went like clockwork and couldn't thank him enough for his efforts! A few days later we had our transfer to Southampton Port, we had asked for Mariusz to cover our journey again, but he was unfortunately booked already. No wonder! That didn't really bother us as we were greeted by a driver just as professional on the 2nd journey too. George had a nice VW van that happened to be even bigger than the previous car, so that was a relief seeing as we had some extra bags with us in the meantime. We asked them if it was possible to include a stop at Stonehenge beforehand, as our cruise was departing later that day, and we couldn't have been happier as it turned out much better than hanging around in the terminal or at the hotel. Overall, we were very satisfied with the service received, the price was not over inflated, and the drivers were professional. I really like Twelve transfers. They picked me up from the airport with a sign and on time. The person who helped me was kind- he helped me with my baggage, was good conversation, and waited with me until my airbnb host arrived. Overall, I felt safe and that is the most important highlight. We had a really terrible experience with this company. A phone was left in the transfer car, which was reported about 15 minutes after departure. We were assured the phone would be delivered to the hotel in the evening. This did not happen and after several follow-up calls and emails (over two days) we were charged more than the initial transfer for a new journey to deliver the device (payment made upfront). The customer service received by telephone and email was appalling. Please do not use this company for your airport transfer. read more

This is a company that is unreliable and dishonest. I arranged a pick up from LCY. Their driver arrived an hour after my flight arrived and i left with a black cab which cost 50£ whilst their price was 75£ which they have refused to refund. Do not use this firm. Your excuses are disingenuous , this is the ticket you sent me which clearly indicates your driver arrived in the parking lot at 15.20 which was too late for him to be in the designated meeting area at 15.15. As you see he called to say he arrived at the terminal at 16.19. Also you are continuously and intentionally being dishonest by refusing to recompense me for a service not provided as promised and paid for. As anyone can see, instead of clarification for why there was an issue I was informed in a rather rude manner the T&C of the company. This absolutely proves the lack of customer service portion, however my name was not on the reservation, it was for a family member and I have been attempting to deal with this company, albeit unsuccessfully. There has not been a refund for any portion of service, 70% or the 100% as outlined in their T&C. read more

My advice is book your trip minimum 3 to 4 hours before your flight time and allows an extra hour to any other destination. We decided to book with Twelve Transfers based on the favorite reviews on Tripadviser. We booked three trips with them through their website. All three pick-ups were late (from 20 to 50 minutes). The company refunded part of the fee on the longest delay. Luckily that wasn't the trip to go to the airport. Also, I booked all our trips with a bigger MPV5, but they send a smaller car on one of the booking. We were able to squeeze in but were not very comfortable. After I posted the above review on other site I received a response from Twelve Transfers which I was not agree with. I am very disappointed and upset on the response from the member of Twelve Transfers, Florina C. First of all I was fair to write on my review that part of the fee was refunded due to the 53 minutes delay. I scheduled the first pick up at 10:30 am regardless of the flight arrival time to be able to have breakfast at the airport. Emma from your company sent me an email to question my pick up time and my response was "Please keep my requested pick up time (10:30 am)". There was nothing to do with the flight landing time. I still have the confirmation and email to prove that. The driver didn't show up until 10:45 am. There is no excuse for the late pick up. The vehicle I booked was for 4 passengers, 2 check-in luggage and 4 hand luggage. But the driver shown up with the Seat Alhambra which is suppose to hold 6 passengers with NO (0) check-in luggage and 6 hand luggage. Why I would book a vehicle with no check-in luggage allowance knowingly I have 2 check-in luggage? I do remember I paid a few pound more for the MPV5 instead of MPV. My over sight was on vehicle type of MPV or MPV5 because I didn't think I would be cheated on. Great experience; I booked last minute, but the person on chat from the website set me up with a reservation very quickly. My flight was delayed and customs took a long time making me about an hour later to the meeting place than expected, but I was not charged extra. The driver was there, and helped me with my bags and was very friendly. Traffic was horrendous due to an accident and the investigation of the apartment building fire (right in the middle of the route), but he got me there as fast as he could and had a great attitude about it. Firstly, I am not for leaving negative reviews and would always attempt to remedy issues with business providers. I have sent 2 emails to Twelve Transfers and it has been 3 days and no reply. I suppose since the ride has been completed it was not necessary to reply or provide an answer to my issues. Basically all was good from the airport pickup right until the drop off. My mom who was visiting London was dropped off at the wrong address with her 3 suitcases and left standing in an unfamiliar place. Correct address details were provided and the driver obviously did not ensure it was the correct drop off place. Very disappointing!!! I trusted Tripadvisor reviews to use them but sadly I will have to use another airport transport service for future trips. Hope that this will not happen to another customer. read more

On a recent trip to the UK we booked three trips using Twelve Transfers. Their service was uniformly excellent. The drivers were personable, timely, and kept their cars in a high state of cleanliness. We had no qualms about vehicle safety as the UK requires an annual safety inspection. Communication with Twelve Transfers before and during our trip was outstanding. A friend in London was surprised at the low cost of the trips, as one or more other services quoted her prices that were substantially more for the same itineraries. read more
