We rented a dingo skid loader from the St Peters location for a small job of leveling some dirt…read moreand moving some "pea-gravel" The dingo skid loader lost it's left tread. I had not completed the whole job and still had an 90 min on the rental usage. I called Brandon at St Peters and he asked if my job was finished. I told him yes, but I still had rock to move. He took it as if the job was totally complete, although I still had 90 min left on my time. He sent two workers to put the tread back on the unit. I had just enough time to put the unit on the trailer and get it back to their location before they closed and then I would be charged for a full day. I went into the counter when we brought the unit back and I asked if there was any adjustment on the bill since the tread came off. Brandon said that he only charged the minimum. ($148 - 4 hour rental) Since it was 2 pm and they closed at 2 sharp, I left. I called the location Monday (09/13/21) and asked if an ajustment was going to be made on the rental since I was unable to use the unit for 90 min. Norman said that he would have to talk to all those involved of what happened over the weekend and get back with me. Brandon called me back a couple of hours later. He said that he thought the job was done since that is what was told to him when we talked Saturday. He even let me know that they didn't charge me a "service-call". He said that if the job wasn't done, we could have kept the unit until Monday as long as we didn't go over the 4 hour limit. I explained to him that I could only use it on Saturday since I was unable to get a truck to get the traliler and unit back on Monday. Still no adjustment was going to be made. They were professional in all their conversations, but wasn't going to budge on the contract, even though 90 min was lost due to their equipement breaking down. We will not do business with this company in the future and if anyone asked for a rental company I will let them know about our experience.

I was contacted from Potosi MO Sheriff's Department 5/21/2017 informing me that the machine was stolen. A few days later I was also contacted by St. Clair County Sheriff stating the same thing. I immediately contacted Bobcat St. Louis to try to get restitution on situation with no help. They told me that I didn't purchase the equipment from them and to contact the person who they consigned with. I explained to them that I never met anyone from Heet Excavating and they advertised, delivered, and took payment for the equipment that it was their responsibility. The Bill of Sale was through Bobcat of St. Louis not Heet Excavating, but they refuse to return my calls. On 8/25/2017 the Illinois Secretary of State Police seized the equipment and it is currently being stored at O'Fallon Shiloh Storage in O'Fallon IL. On Monday 8/28/2017 I made one more attempt to contact Bobcat of St. Louis which resulted in the owner stating they have no responsibility and hanging up on me. Currently I'm out $34,000.00 for the equipment and $600.00 in attorney's fees to make sure I was not going to be charged criminally for possession of stolen equipment. I would caution anyone to beware of buying anything from these dealerships!

Picked up our Bobcat and was told we could borrow their trailer to take the Bobcat to a job sight and returned trailer within 2 hours and received a call stating we were due to pay the retail cost of renting the trailer. We have had our Bobcat serviced several times here but will not be returning due to poor customer service and basically being told we are going to charge you the most we can. Buyers beware.

I was extremely upset (not at the service people) because the problem would push the date of the move back at least a week, probably two or more. One of the service reps was on the phone to the manager and had the problem cleared and my move remained on schedule. The following day the trailer was being attached to my car when it was discovered that my trailer hitch had been installed for a bike rack so the appropriate electrical work for the brake and turn signal lights had never been done. Since I'd never used the hitch or pulled a trailer before, this was another problem and, again, their customer service was outstanding. I was ready to go within a short time and I could have hugged them all for being so supportive and helpful. The manager, Robin, made everything work for me and I will forever be grateful for their efforts on my behalf. This move was especially stressful and they made it work.
