The summer decor looks amazing
Debra P.

I am so glad I started going here! They do a great job on my nails and when I make an appointment they actually see me at that time and not make me wait. I have Hannah do my nails and she does amazing. Not only does she do great manicures but she is quick. She has never hurt me (which we all know happens sometimes). When she wasn't available, Gina has done my nails and she is just as great! They both speak good English and are interactive with customers and easy to talk to. The owner does an amazing job decorating the entire salon for every occasion, it's beautiful! Service is always excellent and salon is clean and well kept.

I like that the salon is convenient for me including hours, distance and able to see walk-ins. Have a "guy" do your pedicure. They seem to do a good job. I like Cindy for nails. She is conscientious and does a good job. She is also friendly. They always offer a drink prior. Their prices are around average in the area. It's pretty clean and always decorated to the 9's. Absolutely don't get the shellac. $15 extra to nails and $15 extra for pedi.

Dust in nail, pop up, bad cuticle care, horrible job done by Sofia
Ce Z.

Thanks to the nice nail tech Sofia, who finished my nails in 30 minutes, my nails is now chipping off not even after 3 days, and my cuticles are all messed up because the manicure she did only took 30 seconds. She basically just puts my hand inside a bowl of water, and start to do my nails, even I told her I want a good mani because I had bad cuticles. First of all, I am very OCD, but I know for a mani that only cost my $30 I can't expect too much. But when I told Sofia there is a hair ( there is really a hair that's about 2 cm long) on the nail, can she took it off before she put my hand in the lamp to dry off, she said " is this your first time doing this? " ???? What is that mean? I can't say anything even you about to put my hand with sock off gel that has a hair in it in a fcking lamp???? She took of the hair not happily, and started to say I should have just let her find out herself and don't teach her how to do her job. That moment I am shocked, I feel like she s about to went all wrong with my nails, so I told her please do a good job I will tip $10. And yes I did tipped $10 like I promised, and went home with a dust inside of one nail which made it pop up, now bothering me every day, and messed up cuticles. My second bad experience there already, definitely will write this review. Hope you can see the dust, the pop up and understand how much it will bother a OCD person, I want to cut my finger off now!!!!

What I asked for vs what I got. Not worth the time.

I use to love it here but had my nails messed up completely. I was there over an hour and half. I had prior things needing to be done after. The nail tech kept messing up my design so I just had to pay and leave. I called and made sure to explain and they told me to come back. I even messaged them pictures on Facebook. When I came back in the told me I could have to for the fix. I have never had such a horrible experience at this place but definitely sad they would find this okay.

I've tried this place over 10 times now. I like them because the little girl chairs are cute and my daughter loves the unicorn decor. My issue is the color! They never look the same once you leave the store. I wish the lighting was better and less artificial. This is the last time I'll go. The color I picked was a reddish brown. It came out reddish orange. The nail tech took under 30 minutes from start to finish and that included removing my previous dip. I had to ask her to straighten out a nail because it was filed so crooked. I also had to ask her to clean them up under my nail bed and to separate my skin from my nails. The pictures posted are AFTER she "cleaned them up." They are also lumpy and have no real constant shape to them. Won't go back.

Still fabulously AWESOME! Nail techs are super artistic & knowledgeable; management staff simply fantastic! So honestly, I don't get the bad reviews which are obviously falsely made and in bad faith since the owner & managers here do their best to rectify a problem whenever anyone is unhappy or unsatisfied.

One is very thick the rest are very thin and they are all lumpy

So normally Natalie does my nails powder ,long and ombré and she does an excellent job! The one time she wasn't there and someone else does my refill they left them all lumpy and ugly. Her technique on doing refills was horrible she didn't even put the old powder with the new powder. She even cut me. Also when they put the top coat they left little specs of powder. Never letting anyone else do my nails. It's been a few days and they are already lifting. Smh.

Got my nails done here about a week ago and they are already cracking, I get this style done every time (usually somewhere else) and this has never happened - also my artist rushed through the whole appointment ! Used to love this place not the biggest fan anymore

If you actually want to color you pick out do not come here. I came to this place because my nail technician was out of town on vacation and I needed my nails painted only. I picked out a shellac color that looked nice. as for the variety of color they have a lot to choose from probably too many. But somebody that wants a lot of choices it would be a good fit IF THE COLOR WAS CORRECT. The light was dim as they were painting my nails. After they were done I noticed it looked like it was a brick type red color. Which I would never choose. The color I chose was more of a pinky red. . I asked them for the sample to compare and it was obviously not the same color. You can see this in my photo. They did offer to remove the shellac but I did not have time nor did I want them to use a drill on my nails to remove it which is regular procedure here. If your getting your shellac removed with a drill it bad, very bad for your nails!! They told me if I soaked it off without the drill it would take another hour at least. then the lady asked me what I wanted to do and I said I just wanted to go home and I would live with it for a week until I could see my regular lady. Then she tells me point-blank well you still have to pay!. I responded to her I will pay you I don't have a problem paying you and that's not what I'm trying to do. I'm not trying to not pay. This was clearly the wrong color. I left and I won't be back. And I suggest you don't go there either. In addition, Not to mention how dirty the bottle was. The cuticle clippers were not even in a sterilized bag. My concerned about sanitation in this place was the main reason I didn't let them continue to do my nails. Update As to your comment you left... I'm my many years experience nail polish comes out to match the color closely if not almost perfect. This was probably an old polish that was rancid.

went in for a deluxe pedicure and Mathew did my pedicure . He did not scrub my feet until I asked him. The paint job looked horrible. I would have also been over charged, if I didn't inquire about the price. They tried to charge me $45 when it was supposed to be $38. She did fix the price, however I was not satisfied with my service.

Job was rushed. As another patron stated, they try to push shellac on you. Poor customer service. Was asked to pay prior to service completion and gave a decent tip. Still did not receive expert nails.

10/10 - Exceptional Service That Felt Like Family…read more My wife and I stopped by Hollywood Nails in Lake Jackson around 6:15 PM--just 45 minutes before closing--and expected, as we often do when we get these last-minute pampering ideas, to be met with a little resistance. But instead, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality that honestly caught us off guard in the best way. Being from the East Coast, we're used to a much rougher, fast-paced kind of energy (no shade, just facts). But this crew? They were something special. Tammy took care of my manicure, and she truly got my nails all the way together. I had hoped for a French, but my nails weren't quite long enough--so we settled on a soft pink that turned out to be the perfect professional touch, especially as I prepare for a major career shift and interviews. She understood the assignment with precision and grace. I'm beyond pleased. Kevin handled my pedicure, and we both opted for the Honey Milk Pedicures--10/10. The massage, both regular and hot stone, was exactly what we didn't know we needed. Kevin's exfoliation skills? Top-tier. My legs and feet felt like they were floating afterward. The entire atmosphere was calm and relaxing, and we were even offered wine and beer while being pampered. It's those little extras that really make a difference. What really sealed it for me was the small yet meaningful gesture at the end: as I was admiring one of their beautiful pathos plants, the woman checking us out offered me a cutting. As a proud plant mom, this act of kindness made my heart full. I love collecting cuttings from spaces that feel like home--and Hollywood Nails absolutely does. Out of all the nail salons in Lake Jackson, this one stood out--and lived up to every glowing review I saw. We didn't just leave with clean nails and soft feet... we left feeling cared for. This place has earned a forever spot in my heart. Highly recommend!

I am so glad we stumbled upon this spa while visiting Lake Jackson!! I was here visiting my family…read moreand running a half marathon fun run. My toes were in dire need of some TLC. I'd recommend calling ahead of time and making an appointment. Loved the variety of nail colors. I found a red glitter polish for my toes that I love. Massage chairs were on point and cozy. Prices are pretty on par with other salons, not super cheap but good & fairly affordable. The V-day decor was over the top but fun and very festive. Try their fruity wine punch while they do your service. I would come back here for a spa pedi the next time I'm in town.

Went for a manicure, the dude soaked my hand for 2 seconds before attempting to trim my cuticles…read more He didn't put anything on my cuticles to soften them. I trim my own cuticles so there's nothing to trim. Then he painted my nails.... No massage, no cuticle oil, nothing. They were going to charge me $20 for a manicure when all he did was get my fingers wet and paint them with regular polish. When I told the front desk woman what happened, she called the dude over and tried to argue with me about it. I explained if he had done a manicure why was I back there for a total of 15 minutes and half of that was waiting for him? So I paid for the polish only and left. I'm a pretty good tipper usually as well, 50%-100%. They missed out. My niece got a full set, and the lady that did her nails didn't speak any english at all, and was rude as well. It's super disappointing when you want to pamper your self a little and get that kind of terrible service. Will be looking for recommendations for a place that does the service they say they are going to do and are not rude.
