Let me start this by saying the gentlemen that came and actually made the move happen seemed to be great guys. A lamp was damaged in transit but the mover who did so told me immediately instead of hiding the issue. That showed integrity and as a customer I appreciate that. My problem with Expert Movers is there owner did not excel in customer service and the movers who were conducting the move did not seem very well educated on the business side of the company. The final price was about double what I was quoted out. I received a discounted rate because only two movers showed up that morning, but it also took them twice as long as they expected. Life happens, not upset about paying extra but the customer service is where the company failed big time. When I inquired about the broken lamp I was met with a combative response, telling me I should've read the contract better. I understand I signed on the dotted line but the way that was explained to me was poor and the combative tone of the owner explaining this to me was quite off. At the end of the day I could care less about a lamp, I could also care less about one mover not showing up, and I could even go as far to say I don't care about the price being double of that which I was quoted. My problem with this company is their poor customer service and aggressive tone. Since the last conversation (argument) with Kevin their owner I have not received any further communication. He said he was going to have the movers send me a copy of the contract, and then quickly hung up. I did receive a cell phone picture of the contract but have yet to hear from Kevin, the owner. I chose this company based on reviews, they were not the cheapest quote, and certainly not the cheapest final price. Business is more than signing the dotted line, business is about customer service of which this company struggles with. I hate to leave such a poor review, unfortunately the service was very poor. The movers were great. They packed and moved a small house worth of furniture without damaging the goods. They charged a reasonable rate for an intrastate move. The movers were good natured and completed the job quickly. They did show up 1.5 hours late, but they ended up moving some furniture at our destination out of scope of the original estimate without complaint or extra charge. read more

Guy I booked with didn't listen, I told him I didn't have much stuff. He sent large truck and three guys which was very expensive and I didn't need all that. The moving guys were very nice and professional. Oh and I asked for tv to be remounted in new house and the guys were not prepared so they didn't hang it , d/t they were not told I wanted it. read more

Kevin the owner claimed to be a professional but was very unorganized from the beginning (1st red flag). His two workers were nice but seem very inexperienced in packing (2nd red flag). We had a 4-hour window in which Kevin promised that it would be no problem finishing. It took them 4 hours alone just to pack a 2 bedroom apartment because they were either talking or packing slowly to increase the time and bill. We only moved down the street (less than 1/2 mile) and it seems liked we moved across country the way they took packing, moving and unpacking. In the packing or unpacking stages, we had a cracked 42" tv screen, cracked mirror, damage bedposts. We told him this and took pictures of all the damaged items and Kevin promised us that we will get reimbursed for all of it. We moved on June 1 and as of today (21 Aug) we are now seeking legal action for FULL reimbursement because either he ignored our calls, never came back to replace or fixed the damaged furniture and when he did call back try to give us a refurbished and smaller tv (32") as a replacement (3rd red flag). He charged us over $1000 but the initial fee was $600. I always want to support small business owners but Kevin Reid is not one of them. A lot of hot air, broken promises, and very poor service. Looking forward to starting legal action against him so he can see that not to lie or cheat your customers, especially when they give you the opportunity to pay for your services. This the absolute worst moving company around. First, I schedule and appointment to move for 10:00 am on a Sunday. The finally came after I called them multiple times at 2:00 pm. I ask for 3 people but, on 2 people came. While moving they move broke one of my dresser drawers and denied that. They also did not move another dresser upstairs to my room. Once I called the owner, Kevin he said that he will send someone out to fix the drawer and move the dresser upstairs. It has been 2 weeks now and NO one has come to me house nor does he answer the phone when I called 23 times. I wouldn't recommend this unprofessional no integrity company to my worst enemy. read more

I'm with Bassett Furniture in Chattanooga Tennessee. We did a drop ship delivery with Kevin and his crew. They did an exceptional job. Received the furniture, delivered and set up with our client the same day. The client raved about the care they took to get things set up. I hope I'll get to use this team again. I'm not easily impressed, but when you're trusting someone to do a job and you're hundreds of miles away, you can't help but thank God for these professionals. read more
