They offered to "rectify the situation" by a) having us hire them to do more cleaning, b) having us hire them to remove the floors, or c) referring us to a cash buyer who would buy the home as is. I responded that this would not rectify the situation as a) we are not willing to pay for further services, b) they are not a flooring company with the tools and expertise to replace the floors, and c) we are not willing to sell our house at a loss. They did not respond further. While I appreciate that they reached out to me, the problem remains that we hired them and paid thousands of dollars for their services based on a claim they made that was untrue. Had they been honest, we likely would have hired a standard cleaning service with lower rates and replaced the floors without unnecessarily cleaning them first. Further update: Their comment is a downright lie. They e-mailed me, and I responded. There was no further communication.

Choosing Cook's Radon, was the easiest decision we have had to make in the multiple phases of a massive remodel / renovation on our new home (built 2002). The solution offered by Cook's Radon was thoughtfully geared toward what was best for our individual situation, safest, least intrusive, and also considered aesthetics, too, when it came to the exterior venting and motor location, and we genuinely appreciate that. Additionally, Cook's credentials and sophisticated test equipment gave them the edge. This company was hired by a plumber who flooded me from an upstairs unit. They had the scope and they had an opportunity to tell their client (the plumber) that they didn't have enough space and needed a packout. Instead they chose to move forward with the project and did terrible work. The work in the picture is what they did and never once did they tell me that it wasn't up to their standards. I have not threatened them. I've told the plumber that the work was unacceptable and that they need to get it fixed or be sued. I've also told ECS that I would share examples of their work with the public. The reality is that many times insurance and liable parties don't want to pay what it will cost to get work done warning everyone that ECS may take the job anyways and then leave you with a mess as they did me. Furthermore, their staff openly admitted to me and complained to one another that they didn't have the skills to do the drywall or the electrical work. companies who take cheap contracts often have under skilled laborers and the result will be poor execution. This is a standard example of that. Consider yourself warned.

They now want us to buy another pump from them and are instructing their technician (who is a college kid) to remove the old pump take pics and leave. Why do I have to pay for a new pump when the pump they installed is only 9 months old. They also are threatening to fire the technician. Poor business practices do not use them!
