This is a little Asian jewelry store in the Sunny Plaza next to Yoshino sushi. There's a little display window on the outside and there's a buzzer you need to push to open the door.
I was there looking at some Jade bracelets my Mom, since I think it's pretty safe to say Asian moms REALLY like Jade bracelets. They had a good variety of Jade Bracelets: green, white, purple, red, and even BLACK! I've never seen a NATURAL black one before so that was cool.
I was impressed that their Jade bracelets came with an authentication certificate from the Hong Kong Jade Association. The lab does infra red testing and then will give you a laminated report that certifies if it's grade "A" jade or if it's "B" or "C" if color or resin was added. I know there's a lot of "fake" jade out there so it was just more reassuring that this store took the time and effort to get their items certified so that consumers know they're getting a REAL and NATURAL piece of jade.
The owner/couple was really friend and chatted us up. I don't know prices for jade, but my Mom told me they had some pretty good pieces at a reasonable price. They also had some diamonds and ring settings. The store's not as big as some of the other bigger Asian jewelry stores, but I feel they gave me a better, more intimate experience.
Come check this place out for their selection of jade if you're looking to give a pretty awesome Christmas/New Year/Birthday/Anniversary gift! read more
