I saw a review by someone else bashing them for lack of service, but I happen to know that a couple of members of their family had some heath struggles a while back, and with this being a family owned and operated business, that was unfortunate and difficult. My guess is that this person got impacted by that, which is a shame, but I can say without question, that it was unusual, and not the way that this business is run. BEWARE FELLOW VETERANS ON A FIXED INCOME!…read more The engine check light came on while visiting sister in Alpharetta. I ran my engine check meter and it revealed an EVAP code. My sister raved about the service she gets from the Alpharetta Highway location so I spoke with them on the phone and was told they would conduct a "Tool Free Inspection." Now, something in mind must have heard that as a "Free" inspection before doing the work. When they called me about the cost of repairs it was going to be far more than I could afford ($1,200). I don't argue with the estimate, but my concern is with the $170 inspection fee that gave me information about the 20-odd items (ball joints, cooling system, etc.) that I didn't want or need. I wish they had advised me on the phone of the $170 diagnostic fee, because I would have driven home without any fee. As DISABLED VETERAN who lives on a fixed income, I find that paying $170 for a diagnosis (that I had already done with a $14 code tester) that I was not clearly informed about beforehand challenges my Christian sense of love and charity! Beware fellow Veterans and may you be spared the "Vet Nightmares"!

After visiting two tire shops for a problem that started with hitting a deep pothole, both shops…read morediagnosed part of the problem, but not all. I was given an incorrect diagnosis by one shop that would have cost me over $300 and loss of my car for 2 days had I believed them. Finally, I had the time to take it to Liberty Automotive (we have been using for many years). They checked my vehicle right away (on a busy Saturday) and diagnosed the CORRECT issue. They worked with my warranty company on my behalf and even though claim was denied, I sincerely appreciated their efforts. Car is running great and I will make the time to go to Liberty for any future issues. The owner (Mark) and his mechanics are very knowledgeable, experienced and will patiently explain the repairs in laymen's terms. I would recommend very highly.
