This room was a little "fishy".

This was our first experience with an escape room. We've always wanted to try one, so we did. We chose the Pirate Adventure and with a little coaxing and hints, we got through it and had a great time. I've never heard of a Split Start and thought at first that one of us would start first then the other. But we both started in separate rooms and had to work together to get to the third room. Fabulous idea. Greg, the owner, was so nice and fun to work with. A definite return trip is in order.

    Got it...next stop...pawn shop.

Philthy says: Highly recommend going Based on difficulty of puzzles, production value, and overall enjoyment, this place came through in all important categories. While only showcasing one room, this room had it all. Those looking for a great pirate escape room, I encourage you to check this place out. Without giving away any clues or spoilers, I can't say too much except you can do it with two or three but I dont recommend...unless you are some super puzzle solving scooby team. 3 minimum but 4 would be good. A great mix of gen 1/2 puzzles that will have you very satisfied when you actually solve the puzzle and see the result and on to the next. Staff was great and friendly. Puzzlemaster would aid when needed but let you do your thing which in my case was tearing down the set or moving things outside the intended norm. This escape room comes highly recommended. I know I've been repeating myself with that line but it was incredibly enjoyable and rewarding. Do yourself a favor and try this one out. You won't regret it and if you do it's because you probably didn't pass.

    We escaped!

My lady and I came here for a date and we had an amazing time. We did the Pirate room and all of the puzzles were extremely interactive and very fun. It is a split start so if you're doing the room with only two people you will be split up, but there is A way to communicate and you help each other with the puzzles. Eventually you will be in the same room working together. The room is extremely well-made and has a lot of really cool props. I'd suggest a minimum of 2 to 3 people but more might be preferable. Our "guide" was extremely helpful and definitely made us feel at home, and definitely helped us along the way. We both escaped with less than a minute on the clock which was really fun coming down to the wire. I'm really looking forward to coming back for the submarine room soon with my lady and hopefully we'll beat that one too!

We brought a 10 year old and 12 year old and they loved it

We did the Steampunk Submarine room! The decor was gorgeous! Over the top ! Really neat for kids to see! Staff were so friendly! Really nice facility. Clever challenges , one of the most clever & fun rooms we've been too! Can't wait to comeback for the Pirate room :)

We found our booty! And Davy Jones's treasure, too. (I will always forever make this joke in all pirates games.)

With "TREASURE QUEST", Matt the "ESCAPE MATTSTER" now has an official room count of: 92! - 10-SECOND QUICKIE VERSION - A family friendly pirate themed adventure that nails the bull's eye... or the empty eye socket of a pirate skull. Decent productive value, coupled with a conscious effort in keeping both theme and era intact, "Treasure Quest" is impressive rendition of a familiar classic. - NOW... SIGNATURE DETAILED VERSION - Inland Empire area isn't exactly littered with escape room businesses everywhere like the LA market, hence it's almost extra rewarding to discover small escape game businesses--especially those of good quality--popping up here and there. Meet the newest player, Mind Suite Escape Rooms. Situated in an otherwise unassuming strip mall, Mind Suite is currently a diamond in the rough, though it doesn't take much for a customer to realize they mean serious business. Stepping through the main entrance, I immediately saw a professional and welcoming lobby that far exceeded my initial expectations. Though not entirely furnished due to current construction for their next feature, of the decorations that were complete, attention to details was obvious. I immediately knew my soon to begin game won't be shabby. (And a bonus point for using Bath & Body Works scented hand soap in the restroom!) Although their presently solo offering "Treasure Quest" may not bring forth the most unique story line, it is a family friendly one that is readily digestible even by the youngest escape trainee in the family: We arrrrr pirates and we arrrrr looking for the hidden treasures! On the bright side, at least the objective is, much like the gemstone you're seeking, crystal clear. What I do strongly commend Mind Suite for is, they knew what they were doing, and they did it well. First off, selecting a pirate theme and time period, though common, is actually no easy task! While the countless escape games out there have the option to bombard players with a curiously wide array of combo locks that exists on the face of the earth, this isn't a possibility for a life at sea in the 1600s. (More owners than I'd like to see make this cardinal mistake. Why would I have a Master directional lock in a pharaoh's grave?) "Treasure Quest", for the most part, stuck to their guns, or blades, in keeping everything era appropriate. Though there're a few exceptions that could be improved, immersion was aptly achieved, and I had a great time seeking for Davy Jones's coveted jewels without being reminded I live in the 21st century. In addition, it was especially enjoyable when I was doing that in a beautifully constructed set! Despite not expecting a franchise budget production value from a small business, I was pleasantly blown away at the magnitude of greatness Mind Suite aimed to achieve--and largely succeeded. This isn't a "take an office space, plaster the wall with Party City decor, add a few pieces of furniture here and there" type of room. These guys actually built upon the existing structure to truly transform flat surfaces into rocky caverns. And maybe, just maybe, you'll even see a pirate ship?! Puzzle wise, the staff rates it intermediate, though an unlimited hint system might modulate the difficulty to as easy as one may desire. Because your team would be separated in the beginning, a solid grasp of general escape room game play and good communication are both crucial. While my team of 2 struggled to complete the game under the time limit, a group of 4 players, even of average skills, would likely be more than sufficient to conquer all challenges with relative ease. Speaking of these challenges, I did thoroughly enjoyed the range of puzzle formats they were able to embed. True to goal, scavenging was appropriately included, (you're treasure hunting after all,) on top of a barrel-ful others that I did not expect to encounter. Having experienced more than 90 rooms to date, I did not necessarily find all of puzzles groundbreaking, and yet, the cold hard fact was, I still got stumped several times during my 60-minute-plus game play. Touche to me. A nice mix of gen 1 elements (lock & key) and gen 2 tech (automation) were carefully selected to help craft a story world that's believable in its own universe, and (almost) all were woven appropriately into the plot developments without their being puzzles for puzzles' sake. Overall, it's a safe and reliable choice, both for the business and its patrons. It is suitable for a large audience for its wholesome and adventurous subject, and it's unlikely to disappoint! A lovely experience backed by friendly hospitality from the entire staff, I could not ask for more. ...Except maybe I can, because they're currently busy building their second room! And when the time comes, more from Mind Suite is what I shall seek. - FOOTNOTES - Due to text limit, this review is possibly condensed. Our group is a group of Escape room enthusiasts where some of us have done 80+ rooms and 40+ together. We have gone to escape rooms that were low production to escape rooms with live actors. We always rave about escape rooms being more about the experience and immersive factor storyline rather than puzzles. I was really excited to try this new room we found on Yelp. I appreciate this company for their good customer service and kindness! The production was shown in their room that we did "Treasure Quest" and we have to give mad respect to the work that was done! It was cool! Because we have gone to escape rooms that have great immersion factor, I do have to say that they could do better with the introduction of the room to make us feel in the mood by NOT letting us know we will be split but by having us close our eyes and let us know that they have to bring us in one by one. I think that would have been better, it leaves room for surprises. Also, they didn't really introduce us to the room until we had to ask them what the storyline was. All of these suggestions are just to better the experience for everyone else. We did enjoy checking out this company and would recommend this probably to people who are new to this hobby hehe.

Loved this place! Did the treasure hunt room and it did not disappoint! We'll definitely be back and would recommend this place to others. Thank you to our instructor who was so helpful !

Had the best time ever! Great company and quality room! I have done about 150 rooms and work at a escape room And this was very impressive

I am super late on this review but I still wanted to post it. I LOVED Treasure Quest - even losing my favorite ring in the room didn't ruin the experience lol. It was so creative and unique. The set was beautiful and I will always rave about a split start room. We had a great time working together in this room and even got stumped a couple times, so we loved that it really made you use your brain. Definitely would recommend this place!

Did the Argo, really a great room. Very immersive, great decorations, and nearly every riddle was fun, challenging, and logical!

Are either of your escape rooms scary?

No, I wouldn't consider them scary.

Does the Argo room have a similar theme to the Treasure Quest room? Can the Argo room accommodate a party of 10?

The Argo room was a Steampunk Submarine type of theme. It could accommodate 10 but I tend to think 10 in an escape room is too many to ensure everyone is busy and productive. Awesome room though. I prefer it over Treasure Quest, slightly

This is an amazing room and definitely in my top three out of the 50+ rooms we have done. It is a large overall space and has a total of seven different sub-rooms. It is dimly lit and you really feel like you are in an old abandoned high school. There are several jump scares, but I wouldn't say it is scary, just creepy. There is a mix of linear and non-linear puzzles, and a lot of back and forth between rooms. There is a good variety of locks, mechanical puzzles, and pattern/problem solving. There are quite a few puzzles, and the room kept all four of us very busy. There are a few spots where crawling is required, and the floor is pretty hard and not cushioned or carpeted. This room was definitely one of the hardest we have done, but it was so fun the whole time. We escaped with only one minute left. This is one of their three hardest rooms and is ranked 8/10 difficulty which I would agree with. Melissa was our game master and she was very helpful over the walkie talkie when we requested a hint. They have a total of ten different rooms now, and this was our third completed. We will definitely be back to try more.

The designers clearly have no clue what 'immersion' means. In a real dinosaur emergency, would you sit down to solve a crossword puzzle or do abstract math problems? It's absurd, unrealistic, and incredibly lazy. They spent money on animatronics but zero effort on actual logic. If you enjoy paying $100+ to do tedious reading comprehension and pointless arithmetic in a dark room, by all means, go. But if you are a parent looking to have fun with your kids--STAY AWAY. My 11-year-old was bored and frustrated. This isn't a game; it's a chore. Chronos should be embarrassed to call this an 'adventure.' It's a scam for anyone who expects a coherent story or realistic survival puzzles. Total waste of time and money.

The Last Supper is an escape room with a live actor who is super talented and can play off of your responses. This room is on the spooky/scary side so just a heads up if you tend to get spooked. However, despite being scary, we were able to complete it in time. Puzzles were creative and it seemed a little bit harder than some other rooms we've done, but maybe it was the fear that made it more difficult. Price: it is on the higher side for escape rooms- about $55 per person, but I would say it's so worth it for the experience since there is a live actor Parking: There is plenty of parking - we had no issues finding parking.

The staff provided impeccable customer service. (Please forgive my spelling here:) Nico, Haley, Diego, and Patrick were amiable, great performers, enthusiastic game masters, and filled with much knowledge. We can't wait to visit again in the near future and see any or all of them again. Haley and Patrick delivered thoroughly engaging intros and guidance, and Diego kept us on the edge of our seats with a table-pounding performance (while being a gracious audience for performances of our own)!
